The problem is that as much of an asshole and a blowhard Trump is, he worked with people who know a lot more than he did to develop an actual exit strategy. Biden and his admin just sat on their asses until they were about a month out and went “Oh shit. We have to leave Afghanistan in a month.” And they commenced to completely fuck it up worse than was even thought to be conceivable. I’m heavily involved with the military professionally. It was a complete disaster. This wasn’t solely about military as an industry. The criticism was valid.

Meh. I disagree. I think it's more an issue of this: the media luuuuuurve them some leftism, but they love themselves even more, and you can only polish turds so much. At some point, people are not just going to notice its still a turd, they are going to notice you're just a turd polisher and you'll lose all credibility.
To be sure, the media has thrown away a lot of their credibility. Better said, they've spent it: They spent it accomplishing all kinds of leftist goals. But they still have plenty of credibility: that's why they're the "mainstream" media instead of "the media absolutely nobody listens to." And the key to that is finding ways to appear credible.

You lost me at the beginning. With withdrawal from Afghanistan was a complete disaster. It was completely reckless in how it was executed and we're still feeling the effects of it. The damage that Biden caused is irreparable and disgusting. Whether or not we should have stayed or left is another debate by itself and has no bearing on my comment. We threw those people to the wolves, and never mind the equipment we left behind, up for grabs.
