3:18 the design is very human

That anti-earthquake bed is crazy one. It needs to be improved slightly. For example, Dahir could add an engine, tracks and cannon. Then sell it to the US Army.

You know I have lowered my expectations and will settle for those automatic tied Nike's.

How about... a train?

0:36 why are there so many cars on the road still? i see problem of congestion was not solved by this bus
@alexmipego Says:
I'm aware it's probably not feasible, but… imagine you could instantly switch the direction of spinning? Kinda like gears you can switch to make horizontal spinning because vertical… and so on…!?

I'm just thinking gyro-stabilised motorcycle must be pretty bad at corners.

I'm sure an experimental gyroscopic monorail was was played with here in the UK back in the 50s

This is NOT a good or practical idea. This is a paradigm of collective infants, masquerading as adults. Maybe too many shrooms' were consumed one party night. A safety appreciation of a young child; it's like watching teletubby cars on sticks.

Got to say that earthquake safety bed might come in handy when the landlady comes around looking for the rent😅
@thehighground174 Says:
If you have as many lanes as are common in the us. Just dedicate one of them to be a bus lane. Problem solved
@6teeth318-w5k Says:
50% of all cardamage due to bupbing into other could be totally eliminated, if, you made the car 10cm smaller. Great logic.

9:52 Lol it has help wheels on both sides like on a kids bike ROFL.
@johntaphouse5235 Says:
on a city primarily consisting of towers wouldn't cranes be a good idea ? imagine cranes on the tops of scrapers picking up pods and passing them along.. hell they could even take cargo, or even deliver you directly to your destination building.. pods could be passed from crane to crane so cargo never even hits ground level.. imagine stepping into a phone booth type structure, keying in your destination and being whisked 6 blocks down and 18 floors up and step out right into your arrival point.. PATENT PENDING so f' you musk

Someone needs to take existing vaporware ad videos and redo using AI. That would be a beautiful bizarro journey!

Just make bus/bike lanes, subways, and light rails. You know what actually has me excited? New metro stations on whilshire here in LA that are almost completed. Now I can get trashed at games and not have to worry about Uber costs or a designated driver.

Jesus Christ this thing is so fucking dumb...
@nerdsurfer85 Says:
Hey, lets implement regulations on car usage in the cities and invest in robust transit infrastructure like trains and subways!  Nah, the gyro-bus will solve all problems...

"Get out of the way. The bus of the future is here." He might as well have said "Get off the fvcking road! This monstrosity is barreling your way like a bullet."

Historically the UK invented the first two weeled locomotives called Gyro Monorail which was used to transport people on the rail
@robotguy4 Says:
21:08 No, the rocket doesn't extend, just the nozzle. That's an expanding nozzle, a design that has the potential to improve thrust efficiency at both high and low altitudes, to some extent. Putting that on a 2nd stage could be part of a possible solution for a system that needs an engine to fire at both orbital altitudes and closer to sea level. There's a few things that piss me off about this video, but I think it's mostly because you say somewhat positive things about the Space Shuttle, a vehicle that triggers slight irrational rage for me.
@drumunism3781 Says:
Very true, gyroscopes only work on a flat earth!

@pookatim Says:
My only criticism is that you mentioned gyro-stabilizers on ships and said they were replaced by fin stabilizers. However, you didn't mention that practically all luxury yachts use gyro-stabilizers known as "zero-speed stabilizers" that inhibit the rocking motion of yachts while anchored or docked. They are quite effective for that purpose. Many larger yachts have both gyro-stabilizers and fin stabilizers. The reason is the fin stabilizers work better when the yacht is underway and the zero-speed gyro-stabilizer works better while standing still.

@yommmrr Says:
Grab a 9 inch angle grinder and get it upto full speed and then try tilting it. Thatll show you how unstable gyro can be
@salvadorpalma8173 Says:
The Brennan monorail definitely worked. So you aren't being very honest here. ut it just wasn't viable economically because all cars of the train needed the whole set of gyros
@salvadorpalma8173 Says:
The Brennan Monorail was a much better machine and it was never viable for a reason. This is just a scam.
@nathanwillow Says:
OK what if they had 2 gyroscopes going counter to each other. One on each pole?
