My only criticism is that you mentioned gyro-stabilizers on ships and said they were replaced by fin stabilizers. However, you didn't mention that practically all luxury yachts use gyro-stabilizers known as "zero-speed stabilizers" that inhibit the rocking motion of yachts while anchored or docked. They are quite effective for that purpose. Many larger yachts have both gyro-stabilizers and fin stabilizers. The reason is the fin stabilizers work better when the yacht is underway and the zero-speed gyro-stabilizer works better while standing still.
