If it is supposed to fly for months or years, what is even the point to make it airborne? It serves basically the same purpose as a cruise ship.
@wtmayhew Says:
Put a SpaceX logo on that nuclear plane AI rendering and watch the Elongelicals go crazy. Get me a bucket of popcorn please…
@AnonAnon1 Says:
What a complete fantasy. There is an existing method of transport that works perfectly fine then some idiot wants to repackage it and sell it back to the consumer. Why would anyone want to spend that much time in the sky anyway? Talk about jet lag
@Emperor_Zewulf_the_First Says:
carbon footprint is a lie because rich people use jets all the time. :D shut down all planes, shut down all cruise ships, then come to me about carbon foot print.
@MrDecessus Says:
Stupid is the new normal for many parts of the population around the world.
@DerMig590 Says:
I'm surprised nobody mentioned the biggest problem with a flying nuclear power plant. The cooling system alone would be prohibitively heavy which is why nuclear power plants are always near a large source of cold water.
@SublimeSynth Says:
"for like several, several years" 🤦🏻‍♂️
@beaumontlivingston8084 Says:
Someone want to explain to me how the fuk a pool on a plane works?!
@EleanorPeterson Says:
Of course this was meant as a joke, but you can be sure that if Ego Muskrat had announced it, the Teslamic faithful would have sold their homes already and bought tickets. Alas, Earth's atmosphere isn't dense enough to support such an aircraft. It'd float on water, though. Like an iceberg. 4:00 - And the Fox man says it's FUSION-powered! Yay! Not clunky old fission. Nope. Fusion. You know, like those portable fusion reactors that we've all been using since they were invented in 2385.🤣
@TheADzioba Says:
I still want Adam Something to make a video about this ridiculous concept.
@DavidFMartin-x7z Says:
Thunderbird did an episode where an atomic aircraft had a problem. The one you showed. The crew could only fly it for a limited time due to repeated exposure to radiation. The American military actually tried fly an atomic pile, they could produce electricity off it and the aircraft had conventional jets. They simply wanted to see if they could operate a small pile with limited radiation exposure to the crew….. They were testing experimental shielding.
@csnipper524 Says:
I can't imagine why so many people take fox news for a joke. What a clown.
@catswamp1 Says:
Didnt the promo cite a fusion engine? 😂
@OffendingTheOffendable Says:
😂😂😂😂 scam
@ACV-1 Says:
The radiation they caused around earth the last time they exploded in the atmosphere alone .... no thanks
@ACV-1 Says:
Like the plane the Nazis tried to make ?
@WenceslasHolec Says:
Instead of changing fuel each time, you must change pilots frequently.
@csnipper524 Says:
Yeah, all those pesky things like science, gravity, and common sense.

Crop circles! The answer is crop circles! No need to watch until the end, Thunderf00t implied it @17:39! Aliens are real! Finally a win for the believers out there!
@janhansen554 Says:
how do passengers and cargo get on and off this super big plane? Shuttle traffic to and from this huge plane should be interesting.. lol
@jeffsaffron5647 Says:
Lockheed explored the idea of nuclear powered airborne aircraft carrier in the 60s. And it went nowhere for multiple reasons. If government founded project could not do it... there is zero chance private sector can.
@Jatskan Says:
what i want to know, is what kind of crack did they smoke for this idea?
@keithstack6321 Says:
I do hope they build something like this one day though. Every time a fantastical resort will be built - on mars, in the sky, bottom of the ocean - it will be one more data point to answer the question “can the human being be bored no matter how mind blowing the situation”.
@robertplatt1693 Says:
Notice how Payne said nuclear fusion.
@lucbedard7564 Says:
Like i always said, Do your search before you think the Sky Cruise will become real, Like who gonna pay this, not the billionaire 🤣🤣🤣 Too many facts just like this video and more

Flying MRI lol.

@BIGBADWOOD Says:
The nuclear-powered sky hotel, called the Sky Cruise, is a fictional concept created by Berlin-based science communicator Hashem Al-Ghaili. Al-Ghaili's video of the Sky Cruise, which is based on a 3D model by artist Alexander Tujicov, uses computer-generated imagery (CGI) to visualize a massive aircraft that could carry thousands of passengers and fly for years without landing. The Sky Cruise would be powered by clean nuclear fusion energy, which doesn't currently exist, and would feature amenities like restaurants, a shopping mall, gym, theater, and swimming pool. Al-Ghaili says that the Sky Cruise could remain above the clouds for years, and that supplies and guests could be transported to the hotel by electric airliners and private jets. The Sky Cruise would also have advanced navigation systems that use artificial intelligence to predict air turbulence.

Reagan did 2 things that destroyed America. 1: Stopped funding mental institutions and you can see the effect all over USA. 2: Got rid of the Doctrine that news had to report fairly and truth. Result is, lying, corrupt, payed-for-heckler-biased " media ".

You ever hear the saying man should know his limitations whatever they may be I'm starting on a new company it's a spin-off of the pet rock going to be called Tech rock I just need to raise 2 million for research of course if the guy made Millions selling the pet rock I should be able to make millions on the tech Rock
@MrDoenyon Says:
THANK YOU FOR PRONOUNCING NUCLEAR CORRECTLY ! (only half kidding)
@csnipper524 Says:
I guess people will believe anything they are told, no matter how stupid it is.
@csnipper524 Says:
Despite all the obvious lies and crap they run on fox news, i didn't think they were this stupid.

We need nuclear powered walking shoes next lol
@datmeme8967 Says:
I agree this vehicle is an hilarious failure of imagination; however, one of your points of analysis is pretty faulty. Estimating its weight by saying it's roughly the size of 2,000 jumbo jets and then just multiplying the weight of a jet by 2,000 is a mistake. It wouldn't be like just magnifying a jumbo jet to 2,000x its size. The windows will not be 2,000x as thick, the skin of the plane would not be 2,000 thicker, etc. Yeah, it will be ridiculously heavy, but this is not a way to come up with what that non-airworthy weight would actually be.
@JabelldiMarco Says:
It MUST be true, since Captain Scarlet was also stationed on a flying base!
@danielfrisk925 Says:
Why would one pay huge sums just to go to a regular mall, but on a oversized, dangerous behemoth plain? The view? Why didnt they go with like.. a massive blimp or something, and split up between several aircrafts/blimps with a lower number of passengers? Still wouldnt work out but atleast it solves most of the problems this giant plane.
@petergarrone8242 Says:
I always wonder about nuclear transportation because the Carnot efficiency formula means that the ratio of maximum to minimum temperature should be large to get any efficiency. A gasoline engine has its cold temperature sink in its exhaust, but the nuclear plant which cannot just exhaust its spent fuel would have to have massive radiators to achieve the needed low temperature. Static power plants can have large bodies of water to get rid of their heat. Nevertheless I see the Americans did contemplate a nuclear powered aircraft.
@pookatim Says:
I am not surprised by the delusional people's reaction. I remember when "crop circles" were the rage. They were thought to be created by aliens and the conspiracy theories were off the hook. But then, some guys came forward and admitted that they created them and even showed how they did it. But the delusional folks were so invested in the story they refused to believe it. Subsequently, it just sort of fell off the radar now.
@pookatim Says:
Even if there was a way to create such a thing, it would face the same issue that nuclear powered ships and submarines face. The vessel can run for 20+ years without refueling but the crew has to eat. How exactly is such an aircraft supposed to supply daily meals for 5,000 passengers? How would they deal with toilets? How would they provide drinking water? At least in a ship or submarine they can make potable water out of sea water.
