Regarding the no molecular hydrogen being present in smoke stacks, I think it entirely depends on how complete the combustion is. If there is insufficient oxidizer, H2 will be formed. Coal gasification is how they make syngas (H2 and CO) after all. Additionally, and CO produced can further react with water vapor to make H2. This is called the water gas shift reaction.
If you are looking for new video ideas with experiments, I would love it if you could try making syngas and then convert the hydrocarbon chains into edible butter like the Germans did in WW2 to help feed a good percentage of the population. Coal butter is my latest fascination. I just wish it had a better history.

In my honest opinion, there is truly nobody more irritating in this world than confident pseudo-intellectuals. They are insanely heavy. An over-the-road truck would require two (2) battery packs that each weigh 18,000lbs. That’s as much weight as 4-5 passenger cars and that’s before the payload. Ask a civil engineer about roads if you don’t know.
Lithium ion batteries also don’t work worth a shit in the cold. Ford has learned this lesson with the Ford F150 Lightning.
In a nutshell shell, though batteries are easy to use, lithium batteries cannot be the long-term solution.
