@ronkebarber6238 Says:
They're not errors, just the words taken out of context.
Deuteronomy 29:29; Psalm 25:14; Romans 16:25-26; Colossians 1:16-17; Matthew 13:11.
The Holy Spirit makes it all come together. No Holy Spirit, no understanding of the scriptures according to God's will. Romans 8:9,14.
Using head knowledge or wisdom of this world to interpret the Holy scriptures is not wise. 1 Corinthians 1; 3:19; Galatians 3:2-3; Romans 8:5-8.
No one can interpret the work of the Spirit in, and by the flesh, they will be foolishness to them. They can only be discerned in and by the Holy Spirit John 14:26.
Ask for daily infilling and leading of the Holy Spirit, and you will receive as believed. Luke 11:13.
Paul' confession of Jesus Christ as Lord is in Acts 9:5,20 (1-20); 26:15,23 (1-23). He couldn't preach what he didn't believe!
Finally, Christianity has no bearing with believing in Jesus Christ of Nazareth, as Lord and Savior, it has many other names of men, saints, angels, demons, doctrines- one different from the other, celebrating feast days, observing different laws and sabbaths Colorado 2; which contradict the true tenets of the true Christianity which is based solely in relationship between the Believer and God, by grace through faith in the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and by the presence of the Holy Spirit alone.
This is the true fold of Jesus Christ. John chapters 6-17.

I believe this is a straight up dishonest assessment l of Bart Erhmen’s stance on the gospels. He’s stated multiple times that he doesn’t think they are reliable sources for various substantial reasons.
@mackanneb1591 Says:
Easy,, there is no god and jesus was a random dude.
@benniecoolieman Says:
The girl asks a brilliant question. Now Jesus said “think I’ve not come to change the law”. Nobody considered Jesus part of a trinity during the time of Jesus. Trinity is a whole different law. So if I’m to accept Jesus didn’t come to change the law, then the trinity is incorrect. Simple reasoning.
@ryoheiota1 Says:
Frank is misquoting Bart. He says MOST of the variations have no significant effect. There are variations which DO affect the doctorine.
@BradPittSweat Says:
I cant trust a book that knowingly removes sections because it doesn't fit their narrative. the Bible has heem rewrote so many times what we read today is biased depending of which version you read.
@kelseykciuk7809 Says:
Like how Kaneh Bosem was acctually Cannabis but someone mis-translated it into Greek as Sweet Calamus what was mysteriously the time frame when life expectancy started to decrease.
@BaptistJoshua Says:
There are no errors or contradictions in the King James Version.
@skepticalfaith5201 Says:
Luke 3:22 “You are my beloved Son; today I have begotten you.” (From Psalm 2:7)
@DawitTadesse-ld8hr Says:
I hate how they always use Bart Ehrman as if he is the only one who’s opinion matters.
@donovanpierce6521 Says:
Ps it just so happens that i was right. Using the quotes of a religious person to argue biblical accuracy is the equivalent of having a criminal make the judgement for their court case 😂😂😂😂 Three thumbs down. (Even though i only have two.)
@donovanpierce6521 Says:
No one admits they are reliable besides dummies that just say it. 😂 Claims require evidence. The thought process Christians use are as if the defendants testimony was the end all be all decider in a court csse. Even worse if their testimony was used despite overwhelming evidence against them. Also if you actually research these claims almost all of them are as you like to say out of "context". The only difference is they are legitimately out of context. When you read the next sentence of most quotes they will end saying that the doctrine is bs. 😂🎉🎉🎉 Like I bet $1000 if I look up this quote it will either be someone who was a Christian later in life and was mentally trash. Or number 2 the quote ends with more than just they are reliable.
@CryptsandCreepers Says:
I have a question: God says that He is a jealous God (Exo. 34:14). In 1 John 4:8 we are told that “God is Love”, but 1 Cor. 13:4 says that “Love is not jealous”. My question is, if God is love and love is not jealous then how can God be a jealous God?
@TagArts824 Says:
No man is without sin (missing the mark.)
The Bible is written by men.
If the Bible is written by men that make mistakes then the Bible has mistakes written in it.
@marioeid930 Says:
Listen to Berts debates hes really well thought out and unbiased. Funny the preacher brought him up because he pokes so many holes in the bible
@Brady-j2g Says:
Amen
@wax99 Says:
Wait, so Bart is a credible source when it's convenient...and irrelevant to the question??
@JASPERKNOWSNOTHING Says:
Can someone explain Moses and the 10 plagues. If the 5th plague killed ALL the livestock. How did they have first born animals for the 10th plague to kill. Also, how did they have 600+ horses drawn chariots to chase the Israelites to the Red Sea if ALL ANIMALS WERE KILLED? God even EXTRA killed the first born. 😂
@ffggffggff Says:
😂😂😂lying bastard
@TheOnlineMarket Says:
Your new testament documents ARE NOT reliable that's why we have THE FINAL testament.
It's not an Arab thing its for everyone across the globe to accept, miraculously intact and free from any errors and contradictions.
Christians if you are true and sincere then follow prophet Jesus alayhi Salam by following prophet Muhammad Sall Allahu alayhi wasalam.
@nad4929 Says:
This is weird, this conversation makes it sound like the word of "god" was English. It wasn't even translated properly and the meaning of words have changed and been distorted over the last 2000 years.
@rodsteel6595 Says:
Student: I just need a reason to not believe.
@thehuggz-i9k Says:
First off I'm a Christian who believes the integrity of the scriptures has been upheld since the 1st century. But to clarify, what Bart Erhman would say is that there are no significant theological differences between the copies of scripture THAT WE CURRENTLY HAVE. And he'll lean on this sort of argument from absence to say, "Well obviously the scripture hasn't changed since it was canonized. But we don't have any original copies, so we can't know what was originally written." But the problem with the idea of CHANGING major theological ideas is that somewhere along the lines you're gonna mess up. Something isn't going to line up because a mistake was made. But I think the book of Hebrews lays out a great argument that really helps cement that the theological concepts in the New Testament are right because they translate the theological concepts of the Old Testament from the physical covenant to the spiritual covenant.
@rucka704 Says:
When the Lord Jesus came upon the woman who was to be stoned what did he say? Did he not have compassion? Do not mock this woman for her questions. Do not Judge least you be judge it's not your place to judged it's only the Lords.
@rucka704 Says:
There are no errors in the perfect 66 books of the bible because they were written by men of the Lord perfectly also know as Prophets.
@Brian-pz3wh Says:
Hmmm...I have always had a problem with "thou halt not kill" when the CORRECT translation, because at that time they had TWO DISTINCT words just as we do for Kill and Murder, is the word for MURDER.
The proper Law of God is "Thou shalt not murder".
so yeah...there are issues wit translations.

Christians need to use theirs brain
@Mockerpot Says:
Man says man is right…. Therefore god
@GrantOakes Says:
There are literally thousands of very old manuscripts of the Hebrew (old testament) and Greek (new Testament) and there is the Dead Sea Scrolls. They almost to a word agree with each other. When compared to much later translations the errors can quickly be identified and rooted out.
@Ashraf0182 Says:
I suggest Christians to read "Misquoting Jesus" by Bart D. Ehrman
This book will answer many of your questions.
Sometimes we better not argue with each other, instead we should look into the books.
@bellearmstrong1549 Says:
I just watched a debate where Bart Erhman argued that the New Testament is NOT reliable. This does not change doctine or theology because doctine and theology rely on faith.
@Ruthless9187 Says:
the new testement has alot of errors but NOT the nee testement
@jjasonMitchell Says:
Men made mistakes that are in Bible not Holy guy . Searching your Own Heart more reliable 💗 Duh !
@samuelramos1379 Says:
No mistakes, this will be understood by faith, no other way.
@EthanJones-sc5gh Says:
Bart has a whole YouTube channel explaining why the New Testament is not reliable.
@courag1 Says:
1st and 2nd Timothy seem to be written after Paul’s death. They had different vocabulary and define “faith” differently. Yet we have to enforce that women can’t teach in the church from a letter that Paul did not write. And this is because the women liked it this way? NO! It is because the Patriarchy liked it this way. There is also the view that Paul died later then it could have been written by Paul. Even so, Paul said that women shouldn’t braid their hair or wear jewelry and to cover their heads. Women don’t cover their head generally and no one is having a cow over that. We pick and choose what we want to enforce and what we don’t like to enforce.
Such as in Genesis 1:29 God told us that that diet of human beings is plants. Paul did not like this, and so if you believe Genesis which Jesus did, then Jesus was wrong?
If your Jesus would operate a slaughter house, that is not the Lord of Love and Mercy that I know!
@ovarianbarbarian4186 Says:
The good ole trust me bro argument. 😂
@EnJaponésConRafy Says:
Textual criticism is a whole fascinating discipline that has been working on this for centuries. So this is neither a new problem nor an unsolvable one. The fact that we can talk about hundreds of copies is something unique about the New Testament that adds to its reliability. No other ancient document comes even remotely close. If that doesn't mean anything, you might just throw away all ancient written works such as Homer's Odyssey, all the works of Plato, Cicero, etc...
@thepotbellyninja Says:
"There is no significant doctrine that is affected by any variant." - and yet, a very significant doctrine, the doctrine of eternal life, is defined very differently by many different "denominations", some even from the same version of scripture. The variant argument seems kind of moot when, accepting the premise that scripture is inerrant, there is still no consensus on what is the "right" soteriological doctrine. If scripture is the "final authority", how does one know which interpretation of the "authority" is authoritative? They can't all be right.
@iyadcharef1702 Says:
He said that the bible is not corrupted because one guy that isn't christian said so. If you wanna take this route then why dont you talk about the millions of people that believe the opposite?
@llamalordno9998 Says:
Pretty sure the practice of picking up snakes and drinking poison is traced only to the false ending of mark. Don’t lie to people, Frank, that’s supposed to be a sin.

Reliablyconsistent, not reliable the truth. If it was 100 % true, who could worship a man who endorsed slavery?
@michaelh3470 Says:
There are errors throughout the Bible and if god was all powerful and omniscient he could have prevented this. of course if this is just a book written by humans we would expect errors.
@dealexander4751 Says:
