In 2003, I had a manic episode and was delusional. I believed that I was the 2nd Coming but had the insight to not reveal this explicitly to other people. I was living with a friend I'd known for twenty years and engaged with many others during this time. CS Lewis' characterization of "lunatic" is an embarrassing caricature of mental illness. Even if Jesus said he was not son of god (or god) then the bible makes it clear that he was (son of) god.... from the bible we know about his conception, walking in water, fulfilling all the prophesies, healing powers, transfiguration, ascension to heaven, fact he was resurrected and then talking to St Paul etc. None of that has any basis on anything Jesus said. Why would he lie? Give me a break. As I said to my own people in a recent vid, one of the arguments to the Jesus divinity concept was that he couldn't have been a liar or a lunatic. Well, yes he could have and very easily. How many today claim supernatural occurrences? The entire Burpo family comes to mind with a now twenties man who still believes he went to heaven at four years old even though he never actually died. And how many follow this ministry? How many followed Joseph Smith's claim of being visited by the angel Moroni? He even had eleven signed signatures of witness of later seeing tablets, hearing supernatural voices and such. So no, Jesus and his disciples claming this and that don't mean much--and the fact we actually have no signed signatures of anything or any authorship of anyone else during Jesus life only makes the case look more and more like an urban legend. What about the 4th option that other people lied about Jesus and what he said? Literally nothing you believe about Jesus was written down until hundreds of years after he died. The things you believe about Jesus were chosen from among hundreds of competing writings. Just because historians believe Jesus wasn't a legend, doesn't mean they believe that everything the Gospels say about him is true. Even the concept that it was the ethical duty of a historian to write down only what he knew to be true did not exist when the Gospels were written. Historians and chroniclers of that time constantly mixed what they knew to be true with rumors they heard and stuff they just made up.

That should be pretty obvious. But let's put that aside for now. None of what we know about jesus or christianity is from jesus. It's all from Paul and the gospels. We don't know if jesus said anything and Paul had lots to gain from this. In addition, it's very likely he was a lunatic too. He certainly sounds like one. The Bible is real because it was written by people who were eyewitnesses of the factual situations that happened.
They gave true testimonies.
Moses wrote about the burning bush. Was Moses an eyewitness? Yes, he saw it with his own eyes.

24 This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true.

Jesus likely didn't exist (See Dr. Richard Carrier's peer reviewed academic book, "On the Historicity of Jesus," to have your Christian socks knocked off a bit). And, if Jesus DID exist, his life became so steeped in myth that untangling the facts from the fanciful fairytale-like embellishments is a fool's errand at this point. Christianity is a Jewish version of the VERY common "Mystery" religions of the time. Dying/rising godmen were NOTHING uncommon at the time of Jesus. Paul (the earliest writer in the New Testament) says he received his "Gospel" from "revelation" and "scriptures" and not from any man; a bit FISHY, I'd say, eh? Paul NEVER mentions Jesus's supposed early ministry nor even a single parable, etc., of Jesus's. Verrrry odd. But, that's because Paul believed in a celestial Jesus.
Then, Mark (the earliest of the Gospels) was the blueprint for the other 3 Gospels who each borrowed, extrapolated, redacted and increasingly embellished Mark, in order to create their own version....plus, each Gospel was anonymous, which is a tad FISHY, right? 🤔 Christianity is a myth. So, if you continue to keep your blinders on and your head in the Christian echo chamber, then you will remain brainwashed. The "Truth" is far more beautiful than Christianity, though. "God" is simply Primal Consciousness. Reality is within the nondualistic Mind of God (The One Consciousness). Idealism is where the TRUTH leads. Check out Dr. Bernardo Kastrup's writings, particularly, "Why Materialism is Bologna."
