The survival of the fittest is not about the fittest individual it is the fittest species/society.
The fact we care for and teach each other is the reason that our species is dominant.

Ok so if you felt like going to a supermarket a kill everyone with a gun or saw someone and felt like abusing them that's what criminals do. They don't even realize saying " just want to do what I want to do" is the definition of lawlessness. That's why in mathew 7:21 it said how jesus told people that there lawless. That's why in Jeremiah 17:9-10 it says how the heart is desperately wicked
@wharriso29 Says:
Didn’t morality exist before the Bible? If it’s written in your “heart” then what happens to heart transplants, or are we talking about a figurative heart? I’m really confused about the arguments made here.
@Etobicoke67 Says:
So why not follow the Bible Jesus and his followers followed? Why not just pray as Jesus did, ie, to the Father rather than just one of His sons. Why ignore Torah when Jesus said keep Torah including the Oral Torah which he quoted from? Why not just turn back to our Father when the Bible says no man can die for another man's sins? Why not learn Hebrew so you can read the prophets as whole books in context rather than take verses out of context to fit the doctrines developed by the roman church? Why ignore Jesus' criticism of human nature to form religion with the Nicean creed as if that saves you, rather than relationship with our Father and just criticize the observance of Torah?
@Deeannalisa05 Says:
Any human being knows that adultery or murder is wrong even though they want too... But if you want too in your heart? it is the same as committing the act according to Jesus..
@Deeannalisa05 Says:
It's worrying hearing a Christian say they want to do things that can hurt them and other's?? But they don't cause they know its wrong. What happened to getting a new heart and desiring the things of God, hating the world... Our thoughts count too as sin.. But wanting the bad stuff that is worrying..?!?! The change starts from the inside out not the other way.

@Gamer_thoughts58 Says:
The heart of man deceitful for who can tell...now am tempted to say that it's all not bad because if it was all bad then it d be easy to say what every man has in his heart which is evil. I believe when Jeremiah said this he already pondered on how unstable and evil the heart of man can be most of the time. Because not everything a man thinks is evil. The only problem being most of the times u can't tell the good from evil... which makes it decietful for example a man who "follows his heart" and loves a woman that is toxic and he clearly knows he shouldn't love but he decided to give in to his passions. At least that what I understand from what Jeremiah is trying to say. For me i d say we need the holyspirit to discern this things right from wrong so we don't end up like the broken man who followed his heart into loving someone he knew he shouldn't have. That is why the bible states the wise man's eyes are in his head.
@stevenwbaker56 Says:
And then he added, “It is what comes from inside that defiles you. For from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these vile things come from within; they are what defile you.”

Who is this that Frank is talking with ?
@ronzy417 Says:
My opinion is that feelings do not live in the heart, rather feelings/emotions are in the soul which is made up of mind, will and emotions. Jesus tells us to “love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength“ (my understanding of the word soul here meaning more like spirit, eternal aspect of the human). It’s interesting how the progression of the four human attributes listed are from the innermost to the outer. Jesus is telling us that loving God with our heart is first. I have found one scripture in the Bible that says the heart is wicked, in the Old Testament, and it is specifically referring to a specific time in Israel’s history. Every other scripture I find about heart talks about how it’s renewed or that we should use it like in the scripture I quoted above from Jesus. Anyways, if our heart has been renewed, in other words the core of our being is now led by the Holy Spirit and it stands to reason we should follow our heart assuming we are desiring to do what is right. Scripture also says that the kingdom of heaven is written on our hearts. I don’t know about anybody else but that’s the thing I desire most, the kingdom of heaven is in my heart, I’m going to follow my heart.

‘I wanna do things that will hurt me and hurt others’ shows you what kinda morals this turd has. Luckily, thought crimes arn’t illegal. And you don’t need a god to tell you otherwise.
@luckyluciano1340 Says:
Sad part is people already know this, but choose to do it anyways bcuz it’s “what they want to do”.
The fact that this is taught in schools now is scary. Where does the line “use common sense” (although its a gift) exist with this anymore lol.
So is it use logic to argue these things, or use your heart?! 😂
Sounds to me like personal gain at any cost bcuz it’s “about what we &/or someone wants” smh. This is why there’s so many politically correct words & sayings now or you’re just a horrible person lol. Just like people with their personal preference have taught others that God is bad/fake SMH. People get their feelings hurt if they’re not included or get their way. Anyways, moving on. Truly God Bless you that you see the correct ways of things. Don’t make emotional decision smh

Sorry wrong. Let me blunt nothing morality wise in Bible is anything new. Almost everything in Bible can found in religions that predate Christianity.
Also if God right morality in to our hearts and we follow what's in our hearts then aren't we following God's morality.
Also morality doesn't come from God. It comes from society or as I like to call it group morality. It's when enough people get together and say something is right and wrong.
These people have no clue what there talking about. They don't understand so there for it must be because of God.
@edgarmorales4476 Says:
I am not sure what "follow your heart" means to you - but a common confusion comes from following our emotions; which come from Satan and our thoughts - not from the heart.
"Following the heart" does not mean following our feelings/emotions - but following something deeper and more subtle than thoughts or feelings.
Following our feelings/emotions will get us into trouble - but following the subtle inspirations and knowings of the heart will not lead us astray; but that does not mean that following our heart is free from difficultly.
No matter what we do - there are difficulties - because that is how it is here in non-duality on planet earth.
Remember:
Religious teachers are not so keen on having people follow their heart - because religious teachers benefits from them following its teachings; which are sometimes in conflict with the heart of one.

If you need the Bible to tell you how to be a good person, you’re probably a psychopath. I’m not against religion, but I feel many people who become religious zealots have an antisocial personality and need the fear of god to keep from doing what their sick mind tells them.
