So the word syncretism is used here and from what I’m learning in Bible college is that it is essentially taking biblical principles and trying to make them fit into the earthly model, for instance taking something that is very specifically outlined as wrong in the Bible but saying it is different today and that whatever it is that was wrong is right now. It is sort of just assuming that if we try hard enough we will be able to get God to change His mind on Biblical principles (which obviously is a very dangerous precedent). This is very very prevalent in today’s world.

I would push back a bit on this… man’s primary purpose is to enjoy God and glorify Him forever. Although, “Know God and make Him known” sounds correct, it’s actually doctrinally inaccurate as it contradicts Romans 1:19-21. Men already know God and God has already makes himself known. Man chooses to reject him and create false gods in His place. Our purpose is to enjoy the God we know exists and glorify the one who graciously revealed himself to us through nature, His word, and His son Jesus. Praise God that we can grow in the knowledge of God and joyfully experience Him through the sharing of the Gospel with others. I get that we must know God and we must go tell others about Him, but I would not say that is our primary purpose. “… Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God” 1 Cor. 10:31. You know God exists, the world knows He exists, your purpose is to enjoy Him and glorify Him!

I find it funny when the vast majority of America is Christian. I was a corrections officer in 2 different states for almost 10 years and the vast majority of inmates didn't find god in prison but were church going Christians before going to prison. This isn't to say atheists don't commit crimes or do horrific things, it's that in 10 years working in prison the vast majority of people commiting crimes are Christians, the vast majority of people having abortions are Christians. Prison officials fly to secular countries like Sweden to find out why they are shutting down prisons while America is building more. It seems like to solve "evil" god isnt the answer. Especially when you have Christians coming into prisons and telling child rapists that god forgives them and they are going to heaven. Christians beloved David Wood someone who should of got the death penalty now running around trying to talk about morals and how someone should live. He needs to be excluded from the conversation on morals and how someone needs to live. God said I will make it so you marry and have another man rape your wife, that is Christians moral system. God has never been the answer and never will be.
