Because of how shrooms often forces you into deep thoughts and giving you an easily broader and more clear perspective to make sense of many things, some people have recognized their sin and other issues with themselves while tripping on shrooms and it helped them realize God is real, Jesus Christ is God, everything without God is meaningless, etc.
Yet, some people still experience crazy perspectives becoming convinced they were true (shrooms can be very persuasive), such as Jesus being a mushroom, and that's where this guy likely has consumed shrooms and thought about God while tripping, isn't depending on the Bible to give him the answer, but rather his brain when he's on shrooms.
