The philosophy of believing in your self isn't bad neither is the idea of fallowing your heart. The problem is when you sacrifice truth and reality for the sake of self. It's also an issue if you don't care about others. I see the point these guys are making but the entire philosophy isn't bad but it can definitely be turned that way. Just another way to look at it.
