Atheist and Frank discuss the meaning of atheism!

????

In an unusually amicable discussion, Frank is approached by an Atheist student to discuss what it really means to identify as an "atheist" and "Christian" these days. Plus, in a moment of refreshing honesty, this student admits that choosing to follow Christ would not be a matter of proving it all to be true, but whether or not he agreed with its moral standards. ???? ???????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????? ?? We should be celebrating in the streets that there is no god.

I am so glad that there is no god.
@Deathhellandthegrave Says:
There is no god, there is no christ, there is no soul, there is no hell. Let's celebrate these great truths.

We can know that there is no god.

There is no filthy god.
@Deathhellandthegrave Says:
I will strip my clothes and prove that there is no god.

Here's my question. If God told us to sacrifice our own child, how many of us would say that can't be God? That must be the devil talking to me because God would never ask me to do that.? Yet, God asked Abraham to do it.
@rachelm7525 Says:
It seems to me, my friend, that: "I need more information" is just another way to say: "I don't want to obey God" which is the cry of humanity since Day One!! All the information you need is in His Word. 🙂

Dictionary definition of faith in the context of religion: strong belief in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual conviction rather than proof

Atheism is the non belief in a deity or God. Nothing less and nothing more.

The winds, waves, stars, sun, moon, trees, oceans, etc obey GOD. Princes and principalities know GOD just like Satan and tremble. Jesus Christ has authority over everyone and everything. Frank will always try to twist definitions.
@CountrySingerWannabe Says:
The question is "If Christianity were true, would you become a Christian?". In other words, there is no doubt, Christianity is true. Now, will you be a Christian?
@srxdeka1000 Says:
I am an agnostic too. all about real evidence, and real solutions.
@letfreedomreign3485 Says:
Nothing made me a Christian faster than reading the Bible
@TheOldBailey4135 Says:
He has already made a moral decision so that decision conflicts with a belief in God, that's why he refuses to accept Christ.
@MapleGoodness Says:
Right off the bat he's making up a definition of "faith"... Ive looked at a whole.bunch of well known dictionaries and none define "faith" as Frank does. He pretty much closes the door to fruitful discussion right off the bat.
@Red-Feather-1 Says:
I find it ironic that this fellow is similar to the majority of Christians. They are willing to believe in God, yet unwilling to follow His commands.
@dalex60 Says:
I don't have enough gullibility to be a Christian...
@Siyano Says:
"some atheist now say [I just lack a belief in god] I believe that just a cop out and it doesnt say anything about the real world" Ok, why is that important? atheism has NOTHING to do with how or why the world exist, you are just ridiculously miss using what atheism really is. But its still doesnt matter if atheism is about what really is the real world, you have a claim that a god exist and created this world and you still have tons of proof to bring, until then I couldnt care less
@matswessling6600 Says:
faith means trust without evidence! read your f-ing bible!
@ramoth777 Says:
'Believing without evidence' is the definition of the word "surmise."
@coffeetalk924 Says:
No, an agnostic says I don't know. An agnostic atheist says I don't know, and I'm not convinced by your claims. That is a position on knowledge and belief. You can lack belief in X without taking an affirmative position on faith. It's called the rejection position. It's like not knowing whether there are an even or an odd number of stars in the universe. You can lack belief in anyone's positive claim, while not actually defaulting to a position of faith. THAT ISN'T A "COP OUT" FRANK Frank is horribly confused
@danmalone8378 Says:
So, basically the conversation. Frank: If it were true that 2+2=4, would you become a believer in that equation? Atheist: I would need more information... Frank: But the premise is that if it were true, and you have the information that it is true. Atheist: Even if it were true, I'd need to decide if I agreed with 4 first. My feelings might not like 4, and so my feelings are more important than the truth...
@Austin316says Says:
Frank changes the meaning of atheist and faith to something is it not the typical definition so that it’s easier for him to argue. He also swaps belief and knowledge (agnostic and atheist) to better argue his point. That’s outright dishonesty.

@davidbrownfield5808 Says:
What if we are all in a Matrix style simulation? What if Jesus put us there, so that none of our actions would be sin? We aren't actually sinning, we are just sleeping in a pod, and transgressing against computer programs. The programs slowly determine who is good and accepts the biblical Jesus, and those people wake up in Heaven, while evil people just go to a furnace. All our deeds are cataloged, and we are judged accordingly. If all that is possible, (not probable, but possible) Then isn't The Bible possible too?
@reggrunow1460 Says:
Thinks "the matrix" is crazy...says god can resurrect your son...If you can't see the absurdity of this man, seek psychiatric assistance.
@reggrunow1460 Says:
Frank is such an evil dishonest man. He can barely utter a sentence without deceit and lie. He first incorrectly defines what faith means and it goes downhill from there. A truly awful human.
@crossvinburn831 Says:
How to get saved and be right with God, who loved us all, for eternal life! 1-Realize that all have sinned before God, in one way or another. Romans 3: 10-12+23 (KJB) 10. "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" 11."There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God." 12."They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one." 23. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” 2-Realize that God loved us, even as sinners enough to allow Jesus to pay the price for our sins, as a free gift to whosoever accepts it. Romans 5: 8-9+12 (KJB) 8. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." 9."Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." 12. “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for all that have sinned:” 3-Confess unto God to ask to be forgiven of your sins, by accepting this freely given gift of forgiveness. Romans 10: 9-10+13 (KJB) 9. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” 10."For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." 13."For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Hebrews 9: 27-28 (KJB) 27."And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" 28."So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” Revelation 21: 8 (KJB) "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Romans 6: 23 (KJB) “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (An example of what to pray to God to get saved and forgiven of your sins.) “Dear God, I am a sinner and need saving. I know I’m not good enough to get to heaven and I need you to save me. I need the righteousness of your son, Jesus Christ. I believe that Jesus is the Lord, who died, was buried and resurrected so that his precious blood can wash away my sins. I trust in him alone to save me. Nothing else. Not my good works or anything else. Only Jesus. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
@gingercake0907 Says:
Like most unbelievers his view of God is God is Santa Claus or a Cosmic Bell Hop toting and fetching things for him. He kept saying “I would have to agree” like he should set the standards not the Almighty God. This man practices idolatry and the standard setting god is himself. Wow
@truthgiver8286 Says:
This guy just keeps churning out lies like there is no tomorrow the definition of faith says nothing at all about good evidence to believe. Turek needs to write his own dictionary the definition of words according to Frank Turek what a numpty.
@MrRichb123 Says:
I’m curious. Do religious people generally distance themselves from consistently dishonest people like Turek, because he damages their reputation? Or do the stand by him as a fellow believer?
@raymoss706 Says:
How hard is it, really? Atheism=without a god.... doesn't matter how much word salad Turek tosses out there... we feel the exact same way about your god as you feel about Brahma, or Kukulcan, Zeus, Amon-Ra, and all of the 1000s of gods humans have come up with throughout history.
@lorischellenberg3219 Says:
Absolutely love Dr Turek’s approach👍🏼 I’m learning how to defend my faith in God by watching these videos❣️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
@teeken8850 Says:
People are liars, everyone knows there is a God..everyone!, that's why many will verbally attack you when you bring up God, hard enough to deny God to self , let alone you bring God up....And the demons that come out of them as they do , only further affirms what i already know. As the demons try to protect them from truth.
@somersetcace1 Says:
There's nothing to discuss. Atheism means without belief in gods. Period. If people insist on defining it as something else, that's okay, but it's not going to change anyone's position.
@HellRehab7732 Says:
Frank has a double standard here it seems to me. He doesn't claim 100 percent certainty that there is a god because we could all be in a matrix. I actually respect that in a way. However then he wants atheist to claim certainty that there is no god or it's a "cop out." Depending on what kind of mood Frank is in, he'll imply that there are NO true atheists because, and I don't know how he could know this, everybody "knows" there's a god through "natural revelation." By that reasoning, Richard Dawkins isn't an atheist. That's silly.
@singwithpowerinfo5815 Says:
I’m an atheist. No, I can’t be 100% certain that there is no god, however, people can be certain that certain gods don’t exist. Simple reason will tell you why the claims about particular gods are ludicrous. The god of the Bible (in whom I believed for over 40 years) is just such an example. The proclaimed attributes assigned to the biblical god are in direct conflict with one another. It is obvious that the biblical god is not a possible candidate for supreme being.
@ngqabuthondlovu3721 Says:
Lol, don't die mate
@riffmonkey970 Says:
Lol. Typical shifting of the burden of proof from frank. Look up the definition of Athiesm in a dictionary. It literally means lack of belief in God, not belief God doesn't exist. The reason Christian apologists always try to shift the burden of proof is because they can't demonstrate the validity of their claims. On the second point, anyone that demands obedience and worship does not love you or deserve to be worshiped
@bogoney Says:
Frank says he doesn't know there is a God. He believes but could be wrong. There is so much wrong with what he says. Foolish Frank. He preaches, but he doesn't listen.
@returningtoperfection Says:
I hate when these fools say things about not knowing if God is real. He isn't here to seek truth, he's a fool on a power trip trying to prove he's right and Frank is wrong. Get a life you Gronk!
@sanjosemike3137 Says:
I am “comfortable” believing in God, considering the very large amount of scientific data, suggesting he exists. I am also “comfortable” following his precepts. However I do not believe “worship” is warranted, considering the fact that God ignored the cries of Jews in the gas chambers. I appreciate God, certainly. Would like a “partnership” with God. And I certainly THANK God. But worship? No. God has to take some responsibility for ignoring the Covenant. Sanjosemike (no longer in CA)

First, thank you Abba for Your Son Yeshua! Thank you Yeshua for the gift you gave which we all take for granted. I wish all Q and A's were like this one. Mr. Turek is his usual loving and respectful self, and the gentleman in this video is respectful towards him. While a polar opposite view of course, but he was open to what Mr. Turek had to say. So give credit to where it's due.

Atheists haven’t convinced me that they don’t believe in God. But I’ve seen plenty of “evidence” that shows they’re unteachable
