christianity peaked in 19th century. for the 1600 years 325 ad to 16th century. it was illegal to own a bible except for clergymen. once Martin Luther forced the church to no longer make it illegal to own a bible and literacy rates grew christianity sank like a lead weight. the opposite happened in islam as literacy rates grew so did islam

Christianity spreader when the Roman empire took the faith, and started to shove its own version even on other Christians. You ask any orthodox Christian historian in Egypt, and he will tell you that they are allowed to practice their belief freely under the Islamic state, not under the Roman "Christian" state. I do believe that the Bible once was the word of God, -no longer due to corruptions that destroyed it. Also i do NOT believe Jesus is god, but instead a Prophet.
Can the bible be used a reliable source?
That's a good question. Christian or not, its a fact that the bible contains numerous clear contradictions. That's not my opinion. That's a fact and acknowledged by Christian scholars and simple history can prove it.
If you believe Jesus is GOD or divine then read the following.
Mark 13:32: “However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows."
This clearly states that Jesus did not know the hour. Why is this a problem? Well... Being the all-knowing is an attribute of God and if Jesus did not know the hour, he was not the all knowing. Which tells us that he did not have that attribute that a God needs to be a God.
Christians that keep using implicit verses such as "I and the father are one" to prove trinity and Jesus´ divinity as in being a God is a problem. Because such verses can be understood in many different ways. Which can result in people making their own understanding of a verse, which is a problem in itself.
And we see this exactly happening in history, people making their own understanding of the bible and changing it according to their believe. That is why we have so many different bibles today.
Do you actually know how many bibles we have? I think you would be shocked to know.

Book of Mormon - Used by Mormons (Which most Christian reject)
Now we must be clear. We are not talking about differences of recitation, pronunciation, writing style or translation.
All of these have different chapters and verses. So which Bible is the true Bible? The True Bible that Jesus came with, peace and blessings be upon him.
You have books in the Catholic Bible, which are not found in the Protestant Bible. Which i will list here:
The Tobit, Judith, Widsom, Ecclesiiasticus (Sirach), Baruch, 1st and 2nd Maccabees.
The 10-16 Chapsters of Esther.
Daniel 3:24-90 Song of the Three Young Men.
Daniel 13 the story of Susannah
Daniel 14 Bel and the Dragon.
Why is this important. Because it tells you that this process was indeed a process. Meaning there were books supposed to be Holy texts and Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox and others would go through and choose what they liked or found authentic and make up their own version of the Bible.
The Syriac Orthodox Bible includes:
- Psalms 151-155
- The Apocalypse of Baruch
- The Letter of Baruch
Which are not found in the Protestant or the Catholic Bible.
When was these scriptures written?
What is the earliest manuscripts, now before we look at manuscripts that are even remotely close to a complete Bible. Lets have a look at some of the Fragments of chapters.
Example of some of the oldest Fragments of the Bible: (CE: Common Era / Christian Era)
The most important ones, the gospels.
Gospel of Matthew - 80-90CE (The date of its writing was 80-90CE, meaning 80-90 years after the time of Jesus, peace and blessings be upon him) This is based on three stands of evidence. (a) the setting of Matthew reflects the final separation of Church and Synagogue, about 85CE; (b) it reflects the capture of Jerusalem and destruction of the Temple by the Romans in 70 CE, (c) it uses Mark, usually dated around 70CE.
Date or range of dates most widely held by Scholars:
- Gospel of Matthew written 80-90 CE (Earliest known Fragment 150-200 CE)
- Gospel of John written 90-110 CE (Earliest known Fragment 250 CE)
- Gospel of Mark written 65-73 CE (Earliest known Fragment 125-160 CE)
- Gospel of Luke written 80-90 CE (Earliest known Fragment 175-250 CE)
This means most biblical scholars will say these accounts were definitely not written in the time of Jesus being on earth. We are talking about life long years...
This raises a very important point. These verses were not first hand reports, written down during the time of Jesus. That also shows in the language they were written in.
They were infact written in cornice Greek and not written in the native Aramaic language that the disciples of Jesus would speak.
If you will not take this information from me... then take it from one of the best known biblical manuscript scholars.
- Bart D. Ehrman, PHD - James A. Gary Distinguished Professor - University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Here is what he had to say about the earliest manuscripts.
I quote:
" How many manuscripts of the new testament do we have from the 1st Christiaan century? NONE!"
" How many from the Early 2nd century, manuscripts that clearly date up to around the year 150? We have ONE SCRAP... the size of a credit card."
"How many complete manuscripts from 2nd and 3rd century? NONE!"
"94% of the surviving manuscripts come from the 9th century or later"
If you have read this far... i think we can both agree that Christianity has failed the test of time and can no longer be used as the word of god. Even if it was in its original state. Its beyond altered from its original. Also
Historically the Bible was revealed to Jesus by God, in Jesus own language of Aramaic, which is a Semitic language, an eastern language similar to Hebrew and Arabic. The original extant copies of the gospels are in Greek, a western language. Now there are four gospels, supposed to have been written by four of the disciples of Jesus: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Was Jesus quoting, from these Greek books, written many years after his disappearance when he was addressing his people? Certainly not! He was quoting from the Book he received from God, which was the original Bible in the language of his own people.
The argument that God revealed his Bible to Jesus in Greek is like saying that God revealed the Qur’an to Muhammad in English! So the original Gospel was not in Greek, it was in the language Jesus and his people spoke and understood. We have no record or evidence to indicate that; this original Gospel was written down by scribes under Jesus’s own supervision. I repeat: We have no original Gospel existing now as a single volume, in the original language. Every educated Christian must know this fact! (Those who are in doubt can go to the Jerome Biblical Commentary, or any authentic book by genuine scholars that deal with the subject. The original Gospel, we have four books written by persons who are supposed to have been Jesus’s disciples. I say supposed, because modern scholars who have done research on the subject, question the claim that these were the disciples of Jesus, in the first place. These four books called the Gospels are placed at the beginning of some 27 books, bound together into one volume, called The New Testament. Out of these 27 books, thirteen were written by a man called St. Paul. This Paul was not a disciple of Jesus, nor has Jesus met him, as he himself testifies. Modern Christians are ardent followers of St. Paul, even in cases where Paul clearly contradicts Jesus!
Speaking of Contradictions. The Bible is full of them. To my research, over 100 contradictions.
Here is one example of a numeric contradiction.
Matthew 27:5
Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself.
Acts 1:18
Now this man purchased a field with the wages of iniquity; and falling headlong he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out.
Some interesting things about these Disciples as well...
Mathew, Mark, Luke supposedly wrote the Gospels 90 years after the passing of Jesus and Paul 50-60 years after. So now in order for them to have been disciples when they wrote the Gospels, knowing that Jesus was already 33 years old at the time. These disciples would have had to be around 123-143 years old.
Also how did these 4 authors forget to write their last names?
Not only did they supposedly forget to write their last names, but they began their chapters, although they wrote separately, they all started out the same in their writings with "According to."
Now... why is this strange. If your name is Paul and you wrote a letter to Joseph. Would you start your letter out by writing. "According to Paul..." NO! you would write your name at the end.
Now this is why i do not believe in Christianity, but instead its close brother. Islam. I invite anyone to read the Quran with an open mind. A fully preserved book, free from corruption and any contradictions. Don't believe it? then give it a read. I would also like to say, do not believe what this person is saying about Islam, his understanding of Islam and history about the Crusades is very poor. May God guide him with truth and sincerity. With that being said, I wish everyone health and an easy path to the truth.
