Phoenix finally sat down and watched Disney's 'Strange World'. Expecting a subtle tapestry of woke ideas hiding in the shadows and subtext she got much more than she was expecting. An openly gay teenage son with a crush that both parents support and remains central to the character's story from start to finish. So "progressive" that not once is a single eyebrow raised at the boy's attraction, not even from his uber-masculine, adventure-obsessed, vine-swinging, mountain-shattering, piranha-shaving Grandfather, Jaeger Clade.
The main character is an openly gay teenage son with a crush that both parents support and remains central to the character's story from start to finish. So "progressive" that not once is a single eyebrow raised at the boy's sexuality, not even from his uber-masculine, adventure-obsessed, vine-swinging, mountain-shattering, piranha-shaving Grandfather - Jaeger Clade. A point that required such a complete detachment from reality that it was easier to believe that piranha-shaving was a thing.
Parents with kids in public schools - you should fully anticipate this movie being shown on the next indoor-recess day at your kid's school. Be ready to have some important conversations with your kids. Disney completely sidesteps the conversation that homosexuality is NOT a typical model for modern-day relationships and that it WILL come at a cost. Obviously, it also failed to mention that it goes against God's plan but there was zero expectation from any of us that it would even hint at that.
The agenda is out in full force.
