I know that God sent her in my life to be free from pornography, and I'm grateful for that needed step in his direction. There is no practical day to day way to really explain that that I can think of. You have to sell them on some amount of theology in order the get the concept of salvation to even make sense as something to desire. A normal person of no faith background has no reason to think they need to be saved from anything.
Do you have an practical ways to sell the idea of salvation without using any theology? I am wondering about a purely reason and philosophical answer, so an answer of practicality.

Can you lose salvation by losing faith, I know you can't lose salvation because of your works. For we are saved by trusting in jesus to bring us to the father, but can you lose salvation by losing faith. Pretty good vid, Frank, but like all analogies it falls a little short. True saving faith would be knowing that the branch IS strong enough to save you. Salvation does NOT come of a faith that gambles. (Heb. 11:6) This is where Pascal's Wager falls short.
I would also add that it is a good example in the sense of what happens when you let-go of the branch.

You know that you have been born the first time, right?
Then why would you NOT know that you have been born again when you are born again?
