As someone who meditates and who is NOT a literal reader of the bible like you profess yourself to be, it is true. "Forgive them lord for they know not what they do". Ignorance without the experience of divinity all around and everywhere invisibly, reveals ignorance of, "divinity" and says the answers we seek can be found in a book. That of course does not mean you and I are 'one', until each person has "realised" their own soul and that is many life times of discipline and searching and meditation and being in tune with the divine and there is not one book on this planet that can describe divinity unless it is experienced within. "The kingdom of god is within you". The experience of the divine is the evidence. Spruiking words about being 'one' is for ignorance since every individual is unique even when self-realised. Being, knowing all as part of the 'oneness' of divinity is exactly what Jesus was talking about. His information is suppressed and reinterpreted by man that has destroyed the knowledge of divinity in man. Jesus said, "you can be like me" he did not put himself on a pedestal. Man did that. Jesus did teach about the divine within and all around and everywhere. Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent.

I've read the Bible and that's why I no longer believe the God of the Bible exists. I'm pretty sure that the old testament is Jewish propaganda and the new is based off of the old. Sure there are some feel good poetic phrases but is it real history? Slaughtering whole cities taking their virgins, raping them and stealing everything they had. It's very sickening when people think that Jesus who spoke against everything Yahweh said and did thinking that what the beast did was good because he diguised himself as the only god because you can only worship an evil being if they trick you into not using your brain to make you think the greatest evils are the greatest goods.

God creates us imperfect, then we need to be forgiven by Him for this imperfection, and the only way He can do this is torture his son. Really? Would you ever torture your children?
All things happen according to God’s plan so billions of people are created with God’s foreknowledge that they will be tortured for an eternity.

It sounds like Emmett Fox and Mary Baker Eddy had a lot of common ideas. This is how satan becomes an angel of light and deceives millions when people have no knowledge of Bible scripture. I was sent to the Christian Science church with my aunt as a child. Thankfully, as I got into my teen years I decided to discontinue the practice as I did not realize any benefit from attending. Then at 22 years of age I went through a wonderful conversion experience and received Christ as my saviour. I devoured the scriptures and still can recall many verses from memory to this day. Best example is the original text didn't mention anything about laying with another man the way you would with a woman, but it does say not to lay with a young boy the way you would with a woman. Jesus said the most important commandments are those about love, for if you love God and each other, everything else will come naturally.

When I started getting into the faith, when I was born again, I could not judge between what was from the Bible, and what just sounded like it was from the Bible on YouTube. There was a lot of clips trying to sound biblical and they were not. It helps read your Bible and read it every day. Making distinctions between the truth and the devils version is gonna save your life.

Jesus was conversing with the dead. For example on the mountain of transfiguration, He was conversing with Moses and Elijah. I understand that other people are not Jesus, but if Jesus conversed with the dead, why for other people it's bad to do that?
