I see a lot of Christians struggling to know what God wants them to do. I thing this is a misunderstanding. We aren't puppets of God. He doesn't put us on the earth to direct every step we take and decision we make. God Gave us talents and natural gifts. He gave us laws to live by and rules to follow to keep us in the way. He has given us scripture and prophets to teach us and deliver his word to us, and the Holy Ghost to be our personal guide and strength. And He gave us Christ. Why? So that we can make our own path. As you make your own path God can bless us and bless that chosen direction to bring us abundance. He can then use us with his great wisdom, as we walk the path we have chosen.

@mashiahaaroeh3506 Says:
Ppl why are you depending upon others for answers to your questions when you can go to the Lord yourself and get a better one? These guys dont know squat bc they dont know the Heavenly Father bc they have never fulfilled righteousness. These are the blind leading the blind. (many deceiving many) For instance, if you do not know the Heavenly Father (Pawneem') as Abba Patyr' (Yawmeem') then that means the Lord has not revealed Him to you. (tawmeem') Matt.11:27-30.) If the Lord Mashiah reveals Him then you will know His Will. Until then you are operating under the (letter/bible) law that kills! (ignoring what you see to do) Due to space, what you must understand about the Will of God is that He had to orchestrate a plan "B" to get you out of sin to get rid of it. That plan "B" is a 2nd part of death called the 2nd resurrection. Plan "B" is for regeneration in a twinkling of an eye. This means that the FEW who make the rapture will fulfill the original Will of God by not seeing physical death. Even Khan-oke' (Enoch) and Elijah the Prophet must come back and die as the 2 witnesses after the 1st half of the tribulation about to come upon you all. Here is a spoiler bc of space. The Will of The Almighty is for one day to have all the sons of (Omega) Adam (who was Christ the Son of God in Adam) enter into where He is over 100 billion strong. This will be the fulfillment of the grandsons being counted as sons and accomplished at the end of the millennium. This is The Voice in the verse "it is appointed unto men to die once (part of the plan/Way, purpose/Truth and pattern/Life for Creation - Christ being its Beginning - Rev.3:14.Jn.1: 1.I Jn.1 -) and THEN (part B) the judgment. The judgment of man was added bc of the judgment of satan which was hell after satan's real name Hay'lale. The lake of fire is mainly for sinful mankind. The Almighty is not playin' with you ppl! auxiliaryWhen you sin you are being disobedient (for His Will or you to live and not die3 - f**l) which you do with belief (believing is never enough on judgment day or death) that Jesus is Lord. So the Will of God is His Plan, Purpose and Pattern (fill up the sum) for the Creation of God (Christ the kingdom of God - Rev.3:14. and Amen) to make way for humanity 'God's creation'. Christ is Created but we are Made! P.S. the answer to your question is, the way you know if you are in His Will is if you are in your sinful ways! you will die in your sins if you dont repent of them and turn away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Forever and God will come!!!!!! SO NOT BE AFRAID! Your fear in His Presence is bc of your sinful ways before (Pawneem') Him - Gen.17:1.

It is freeing to realize that God has already given us what we need to make healthy decisions and stay in His will. It is biblical to ask for wisdom from the Spirit and counsel from other believers, but trying to hear God tell you what He wants you to do is not a concept found in scripture.

Ask people that claim to be christians: If christianity was true would you be like Jesus.

Not a single word in the bible is from a god. You are not doing what a god wants, you are doing what the human men that write the bible want.
@JamesRichardWiley Says:
According to the Holy Bible written by humans the Judeo/Christian god is a bloodthirsty monster who is sorry he made mankind. Is this your moral compass?

I just can’t help but feel God is wishful thinking. People talk about it being difficult to believe, but why? You are literally giving your pains, experiences, and this entire life a point. What is difficult about believing that? I want that so badly. But that is why I find it difficult to believe in an Abrahamic God. Because out of the 3000+ Gods, He is the most beautiful of them all (excluding the OT). Idk, I’m to the point I feel I need evidence and that it is wrong of me to believe calling my belief faith. Because when it comes down to it, my belief is rooted from the happiness and comfort God brings me when I believe he is there. How is it not wrong to believe in your emotions?

Dr. Turek is not answering the question. Perhaps he just misheard or misunderstood. Perhaps he is reluctant to tell a member of his audience in public that there is no way in which we can tell what God would prefer us to do within the framework we already know about. For kids in the age bracket of this young man, this can be a choice between becoming a preacher or just a regular believer with a worldly job. How do you know if you should dedicate yourself to preaching or if you should finish school and get a job if your God doesn't tell you what he wants you to do?
@jamesw4250 Says:
Can't overcomplicate something that doesn't exist. Since god isn't real he can't have a will gor your life.

One of the best things I've ever heard— Doing God's will is simply doing the next right thing. Done with excellence and for the glory of God.

Such a sad question. Why can't you live your own life and make your own decisions free from dogma or indoctrination? It would be utterly depressing to me if I felt like someone else dictated my life's purpose..

1st john 2v3 it is by this that we know him if we keep his commandments he who says I know him and does not keep his commandments is a liar and there is no truth in him. Having the new testament without the old testament is absolutely ridiculous, What do you ignore Daniel, how do you know it is JESUS who filled the prophesies in the OT ,

People are more concerned about what God wants them to do and not concerned enough with what they have received as a result of His death on the cross.

So anyone can just say they are christian and live life according to their interpetation of the bible and be respected for that by other church members.

"Sometimes we have to stand in the gap between the evil they want to do, and them"... is that what God does with us? I thought the whole argument was God gives us free will because if he prevented us from doing evil then he wouldn't really be loving us, now they're saying it's the other way around?

Dr T and Jorge Before I knew anything about God's word I remember as a child growing up (and before I had the knowledge to describe what it is that I observed) I used to watch and admire my grandma's hands and think to myself "those hands do so much for me and for others how I love them." Through her life and actions, she taught me what love is. As Dr T said, it is sacrificial and always having the best interest of that person's welfare as the utmost priority despite how difficult it may be for us personally. However, like Paul in the Bible, my grandma "poured herself out like a drink offering" for Jesus and the ones she loved. She only lived until I was 17, but I have so many wonderful memories that even after decades of her death, I still cry. I do love our Lord with all of my heart and strength and soul, but the very 1st person I wanna see when we are raptured is my grandma !!! ❤️‍🔥 if that's OK with Jesus of course but he knows!! 😇

The most important will is to be saved by repenting of your unbelief to believing the gospel. That's God's will for you to be saved. Everything after that is how you'll be rewarded in Heaven. There is no condemnation for those who believe. But you can attain rewards in Heaven by service to God. That can basically be summed up by ministry. Look at your life as a ministry.
@TheContrarian32 Says:
As much as Turek likes to ask “how do you know that”, he sure enjoys making truth statements without really knowing what he says ti be true.
@nathan1sixteen Says:
1) you didn’t really answer the question 2) the answer is “is what you’re doing sinful?” If they say no, then the next question is “ have you audibly heard God tell you to do something that you are refusing to do?” If they say no, then the next question is “have you prayed about it and sought out Godly counsel?” If they say yes, then they’re within God’s will. The uneasiness is normal. It’s hard to make changes and take steps and walk by faith. The future is uncertain and we have to trust that God will carry you through. Trials and hardship don’t mean you’re not in God’s will. Trials and hardship hit everyone

@festushaggen2563 Says:
You can go aa deep as you want with theology. Fortunately, the messages of the gospel and Christian life are easily understood and not complicated. They are meant to reach anyone from any age and generation so that all may be saved who will repent and believe. God's word, His conviction and the presence of the Holy Spirit will do the rest to keep us on the straight and narrow.
@aydanlundy9481 Says:
I’m getting to a point looking for direction and asking where God wants me that I’m just gonna start walking in a direction and just listen if he says no. Which is fine I guess, but I don’t like to be left guessing if the decision I’m making is what God wants or not.
