Do Christians sometimes struggle with hope?

If you are struggling, please know that you are a precious child of God, and help is available by calling 988 and/or seeking the advice of a biblical counselor.] During a recent Q&A session, a young gentleman asks Franks if it's ever OK for a Christian to hope for death. We pray that Frank's response will comfort others struggling with the same question. This is a very hard thing to understand and do. Like, thinking that everyone is as important and worth as everyone else. And not thinking higher of anyone on the state as he said. It is very hard to not compare yourself and others..

Amen! ... This touched me & I noticed Frank, as well I believe many others.... Bobby take heart, you are in great company with Paul whom also had similar thoughts as stated in Philippians 1:23 - 25 23] " For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: 24] Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. 25] And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith also yearned to be rid of his earthly body to be with Christ, though he wanted and accepted to remain for their is mork work to be done." My prayers with you Bobby, as you grow within your courage & strength through Christ 🙏🤗

@royhiggins7270 Says:
According to verifiable reality, if you think the world is coming to an end, think again: people are living longer, healthier, freer, and happier lives, and while our problems are formidable, the solutions lie in the enlightenment ideal of using reason and science. Those that believe in resurrections, demons, devils and eternal torture harm humanity! Christians and the Pro-Life movement has harmed far more REAL children than every abortion ever!! Priests and Preachers have harmed far more children that every drag queen ever! Christians are cowards and cling to those that want to burn the world down because they want their magic man to come back and save them from those terrifying gay people. Please fight to stop the torment, suffering, poverty, and abandonment that is coming for all women in America forced to give birth by the hypocritical Pro-life movement and their ilk.

@brianandersen1629 Says:
Or it's just a struggle because it's not true. People are confused and not able to consider their beliefs are false. This is how religion traps people. When it finally doesn't add up, theists are unwilling or it doesn't occur to them. The problem is the belief in their god.
@DruPetty42 Says:
I've felt the same way. I definitely understand where he's coming from. A prime example of creation groaning.
@markfullbrighton5070 Says:
Hey Christians, I am an agnostic but I wanted to give you the most important advice that you will ever need. And that advice is PLEASE DO NOT HAVE CHILDREN. If you have a child, not only is it going to suffer the inevitable sufferings in life, but more importantly, it might go to hell for eternity and suffer far worse than anything it suffered in this life. If you don't have children, then they can't suffer anything in this life, but more importantly, they won't end up in hell for all of eternity. Again, PLEASE DO NOT HAVE CHILDREN.

Amen, we want you to live brother Bobby. We sow the seeds the glory belongs to Jesus Christ. All of God’s children want Christ’s Kingdom to come and His will be done, we understand you. 1 Corinthians 3:6-7 “I planted the seed and Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow”
@JamesRichardWiley Says:
Death is going to sleep and not waking up. You were dead before you were born and it wasn't a problem then. If you are eternal energy in the human form you can't die, you can only change from one form into another. Everybody dies.

If everyone was on the stage no one would be in the audience. We all have a different part to play no matter how small we think it is.
@alicedeen720 Says:
Praying does nothing and no one has ever demonstrated the supernatural. When will adults grow up and drop these fairy tales of magic and an afterlife?
@steveprofiler Says:
Do all people have equal value to God? God is referred to a total of 443 times as "God of Israel". "No Ammonite or Moabite shall be in the congregation of the Lord; neither shall their seed in the tenth generation ever be in the congregation of the Lord" (Deuteronomy 23:3, Nehemiah 13:1-3). Jesus has only come to help Jews and not Gentiles (Matthew 15:24). Jesus instructs the disciples to steer clear of the cities of the Gentiles and Samaritans, presumably because these are not worth saving anyway (Matthew 10:5-6). Salvation is also for the Gentiles (Acts 11:18, Acts 15:17, Acts 28:28, Ephesians 3:6). Is it God's will that some people should perish? God intentionally creates sinners just to have someone to punish and annihilate. He hardens and misleads people to ensure that they sin so that he can punish them afterwards (Proverbs 16:4, Romans 9:18-23, 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12). Jesus speaks on purpose so that the outsiders do not understand what he says so that they will not turn around and be forgiven (Mark 4:10-12). God does not want anyone to perish, but for all to be saved (1 Timothy 2:3-4, 2 Peter 3:9).
@steveprofiler Says:
Did God know in advance that people would sin? God's unchanging plan has always been to let Jesus die for the sins of men, which hardly makes any sense unless he knew in advance that men would sin, so that there was a need to save them (Ephesians 1:5). Who will be saved and who will perish has been predetermined since "before the foundation of the world" (Ephesians 1:4-6, Ephesians 1:11, 2 Timothy 1:9, Romans 9:18-23) When he saw that the wickedness of the people was great, the Lord regretted that he had created the people, which hardly makes any sense, if he had known all along that this was what was going to happen (Genesis 6:5-7). Is God trustworthy? God cannot lie (Hebrews 6:18, Titus 1:2) God has put a "lying spirit" in the mouth of the prophets (1 Kings 22:23, 2 Chronicles 18:22). God sends a delusion upon sinners, so they believe the lie (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12). Does God make a difference between people? God makes a difference between Cain and Abel, as well as Esau and Jacob (Genesis 4:4-5, Romans 9:11-13). God makes a distinction between Israelites and Egyptians (Exodus 11:7, Exodus 8:23). God treats women and men differently (1 Corinthians 11:3, 1 Corinthians 11:7-9, 1 Corinthians 14:34-35, Ephesians 5:22-24, Colossians 3:18, 1 Timothy 2:11-14, Titus 2:3-5). The relative value of people in shekels (by gender and age): (Leviticus 27:3-7). God does not discriminate between people (2 Chronicles 19:7, Acts 10:34, Romans 2:11, Colossians 3:25). Is God good? No, see previous post. "He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the Lord's lovingkindness" (Psalms 33:5). "The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all his works" (Psalms 145:9). "For the Lord is good; his mercy endures forever" (Psalms 100:5, Psalms 107:1, Psalms 118:1, Psalms 118:29, Psalms 136:1). God is love (1 John 4:8, 1 John 4:16).
@steveprofiler Says:
This is a smal list of CONTRADICTIONS in the bible, anyone want to see more? Attributes of the Lord Has anyone seen God? Yes (Genesis 32:30, Exodus 24:9-11, 1 Kings 22:19, Job 42:5, Isaiah 6:5, Amos 9:1). No (John 1:18, 1 Timothy 6:16, 1 John 4:12, 1 John 4:20) Is God omnipotent? God is omnipotent. Nothing is impossible or too difficult for God (Genesis 17:1, Genesis 35:11, Jeremiah 32:17, Matthew 19:26, Mark 10:27, Luke 1:37). God couldn't win over Jacob in close combat?!? (Genesis 32:24-30). Despite the fact that the Lord was with Judah, he could not drive out the people in the valley, because they had iron chariots (Judges 1:19). Can God get tired or need rest? Yes (Genesis 2:3, Exodus 31:17, Isaiah 1:14, Isaiah 43:24, Jeremiah 15:6). No (Isaiah 40:28). Can God do something that he himself might regret? Yes (Genesis 6:6-7, Exodus 32:14, 1 Samuel 15:10-11, 1 Samuel 15:35, 2 Samuel 24:16, 1 Chronicles 21:15, Jeremiah 18:8, Jeremiah 42 :10, Jonah 3:10, Amos 7:1-6). No (Numbers 23:19, 1 Samuel 15:29, James 1:17). Is God omniscient? The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, he knows the secrets of the heart and nothing is hidden from his sight (Psalms 44:22, Psalms 139:7-8, Proverbs 15:3, Jeremiah 16:17, Jeremiah 23:24, Acts 1 :24). Adam and Eve hid themselves from the Lord (Genesis 3:8-9). God descends to Sodom and Gomorrah to find out if the people have behaved as badly as the rumor says (Genesis 18:20-21). God wonders what is happening (Genesis 3:11, Genesis 3:13, Genesis 4:9, Numbers 22:9, Job 1:7, Job 2:2). God must test people to see if they are faithful (Genesis 22:12, Deuteronomy 8:2, Deuteronomy 13:3, 2 Chronicles 32:31). Israel has set up princes without God's knowledge (Hosea 8:4).

I'm patient and content but I can totally relate to this kid and it's not just the world, it's me too. I can feel the wax cooling off. Judging from the accelerated state that the world is in, I fear for the unbelievers that we aren't going to be waiting much longer. Just a feeling.

I think everyone loses hope at some point in their life.
@troylouis162 Says:
I feel so similarly as this young man. I’m very unattractive, I have no wife, no girlfriend, I’m not wealthy… and so on.. I am sinful and can’t see any good in me or my life. I’m 46 and at this point really don’t see how it could get better. For example, women have already shown me I’m not worth it, any women that pays any attention to me now would be doing so because of a serious lack of options and not because she has any interest in me.
@roadking5789 Says:
Even the Apostle Paul in his letter to the Philippians mentions to depart from this life and be with Christ is far better but to stay is more beneficial for you. Philippians 1:23-24. Paul understood that his work on this earth was not done yet. Same with us, our work is not done yet till the Lord calls us home.

Plz answer If there is a all good holy god then why Unicorn don't exist I mean mean worse thing than unicorns like rápes múrders crímes díseases exist But unicorn which more good than these evil things doesn't why I mean unicorn are more necessary than those things and hence God should have created unicorns but not those things Think it's very logical
@fdsajfldaskjf Says:
And if you have nothing to bring to the table? What then?
@Disney312 Says:
I understand where he’s coming from. Sometimes it’s easier to simply want to go to heaven and not have to deal with the sins and temptations of this world. There is no sin in heaven, and you’ll have no reason to sin because everything that you’d ever want or need will be provided for. So sometimes there’s a thought that “hey, if I’m in heaven, I won’t have to worry about sinning any more.” That problem now gets taken off the board if you’re not in this world anymore, right? Just as there is darkness in this world, though, there is also light. Prayer is important, being in the word is important, but seeking fellowship is an important way of finding God’s light. He needs to find like-minded brothers and sisters and find strength in fellowship, as well as with Christ.
@briarpatchson3039 Says:
All of us should feel this way. But however, as long as God leaves us here on this Earth. You still have Work to Do for the Kingdom of God. ✝️Remember, you have been Brought by his Holy Blood. Ask Jesus for Strength, Read your Bible everyday, and find a Pray partner. In the Name of Yeshua hamashiach AMEN
@terryhollifield9343 Says:
That man's feelings are very real, and I hope he realizes that they are shared by many of us. While we all may not necessarily pray to die, we all feel the darkness of this fallen world. I know I certainly do, and have actually had the same prayer as Bobby in my heart on multiple occasions. Yet, what Frank said is so true. We each matter; and not just in a general way, but in a specific way. God truly does have us here for a reason. And even more, He truly is with us every step of the way. As an added bonus, He has also given us our brothers and sisters in Christ to walk with as well. This is what the church is about. I pray Bobby find the love and even real and persistent joy that comes from being filled with God's presence through the Spirit as we walk this earth, and from being intimately connected with a solid Bible-believing church.
@regstoy Says:
I find it ironic, that frank tells someone with obvious mental health issues, to talk to an actual person about them, rather than rely on a deity to solve his issues.
@markhorton3994 Says:
Even Paul wondered in Scripture whether it was better to die and be with God or stay and do God's work.
@charliecrowe6606 Says:
Been there felt that. It helps me to think: The Kingdom is now and not yet. We don’t have to die to go and enjoy God’s company. We have it now but somewhat filtered. Let the longing for what is to come work backwards into now.
@entity5678 Says:
I absolutely like the question and the response!!
@logicalatheist1065 Says:
Looks like a lot of Frank's Christians struggle with an education
@suli55 Says:
Powerful video ☝️😊
@phlaxus5288 Says:
We are already a part of God's new creation. He could have just taken us to heaven when we repented and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as our savior. For him, we already are heavenly people, because that's where our home is now. But he chose to use every single Christian to fulfill his will in this world. That is the only reason he left us here. It is no wonder, that even though we put great effort in our work in the Kingdom of God, that people will reject it. They rejected Jesus Christ, do not expect, that the world will handle you otherwise. Love God, love people and expect God to guide you in your life, like he did with every other believer from Adam to today.
@MorganFreemansFavoriteFreckle Says:
Great job handling this situation. I think that feeling is very common with Christians. This world IS tiresome
@jeffphelps1355 Says:
With the decline of religion in the west just wondering if the suicide rates have gone up as well. Be an interesting study
@joshuaj.jackson Says:
I can relate with this kid. I’m thankful though for the reasons that I have to be grateful. I’m thankful for the hope there is in Jesus.
