Stop the cap, we do what works, not about what standard or your beliefs,
@IAMhassentyou-h5w Says:
You need both. Believe the truth and know the truth.
@ChipArgyle Says:
An interesting line of logic that only works if we can demonstrate the existence of a particular god. We can't, so there's nowhere to go with it.

Belief is for evil for truth speaks for itself your going down criminals!

Atheists get their morality from God. Unless they take from God, they fall under the category of "evolution" which is survival of the fittest. There is no morality in evolution, only what is best for the species. Rape isn't wrong because evolution isn't moral, it just is and rape prolongs the species. Theft isn't wrong, it's just security for the longevity of the individual theif or theives. Murder isn't wrong, it's just survival of the fittest. Without the morality of God, Atheists are immoral and apparently "evolved". I don't believe in evolution, obviously. I do believe in God and Jesus, though. I see the evil in this world. Grown men shaking their junk in front of children at drag shows, people fighting harder than ever to secure the death of infants in the womb, woke lgbt mobs assaulting everyone that disagrees with them. There is a Judgement day coming, and many will be unprepared for so many absolutely despise Jesus and His gospel of salvation.

It is absolutely unavoidable, all that one does is rooted in what one believes & therefore thinks… Proverbs 23:7…

I gots to love God first. Without that first, correct actions won't follow.

If a man follows the bibles teachings it leads to faith in God's precepts and commands. Those teachings include how to study the bible. The study of Hebrew and Greek is important because man can change the definition of words over time. The same word in the bible can have several different meanings. And when they translate a bible into a different language they do not always have the exact word from the new language to fit.
@OneManSays Says:
I don’t think people are saying actions matter more than beliefs. I think they are saying actions are a better representation of a persons beliefs than the words stating what one believes. It seems similar to looking for fruits of the spirit. And of course no one is perfect and all will violate their own beliefs from time to time.
@crossing3790 Says:
we cant produce good fruits...we can only bear the good fruits of Jesus. Bible only says bear fruits. Even our good fruits He is responsible for. Thank God He does it all. All Glory to God
@somerandom3247 Says:
The standard we are using is the standard set by the society you live in. Has nothing to do your, or any other gods.
@ApisVenandi Says:
Your actions speak of your faith, you will NOT do something if you believe it's right. Action and faith is inseparable as they work hand in hand, you believe and that's why you do things.

I've seen death threats against innocent people, suicide bombings, throttling of education, hobbling of women's rights, prejudice against LGBTQ, torture and war motivated by "love of God". Maybe, just maybe, there are better ways.

That verse does not imply a hierarchy tho? ???
@mattr.1887 Says:
There's a great irony in Christianity --> you save yourself by having the right thoughts and beliefs.
@mebsteve47 Says:
Awesome point! What we believe is the gateway for spirits. We are then controlled by the spirit within us. If I believe you are my enemy, I will behave one way. If I believe you were made in the image and likeness of God and were made to Glorify Him I will behave another way towards you. Instead of condemning you, I will serve you by lovingly warning you, and sharing with you the Truth.

Here is an example of why I don't understand modern Christianity. Both women obviously know what's written in the Bible, one even quotes, "If you love Me you will keep My commandments." Yet they both sit there in blatant disobedience to the New Testament commandments of God forbidding women from wearing makeup and jewelry. 1Tim. 2:9, 1Pet. 3:3. I don't understand how people can claim to be Christians when they live a life in wilful disobedience to God. I don't understand how people living in wilful disobedience can claim to be saved as so many modern wilfully disobedient Christians claim. I just don't see the wilfully disobedient living according to Hollywood standards and not biblical standards, being allowed into heaven. The Bible teaches that the narrow path of obedience leads to salvation, whereas the broad path of disobedience that leads to destruction.
@broz1488 Says:
What you believe should be reflected in manner in which you live your life. Actions speak louder than words. If you want to know what a person really believes and thinks, look at how they act on behave. Words lie, actions do not.
@steveprofiler Says:
This is a big problem for christians. They claim to have free will yet, do not want to love their enemies. Cognitiv dissonance.

Jesus is not our Creator! The Hebrew Bible says that YeHoVah is God alone no trinity no Jesus is written about in the Hebrew Bible.

Maybe you should explain how the masses don’t obey the government as God commanded. But first you need to express who the government is. In America the living documents Bible, Declaration, Bill of Rights, and Constitution is the government of America. Not the nitwits who try to change the laws in their favor avoiding the penalties of their actions.

10 commandments are written on our hearts.
@mR-dc4oq Says:
Love others as you love yourself. The SECOND part of that is essential. You assume people love themselves automatically. Not so! Many are taught, at a young age, to hate themselves. Make sure you honor the very life God graced you with by treating yourself with the respect that God intended. If you do not love yourself it’s impossible to love others. You will not know how.
@jamesw4250 Says:
It's true what you do is more important than what you believe. How do you love an imaginary entity? Loving others is a good thing.

@hansdemos6510 Says:
I think it is unjust, unloving, and not good for an almighty, all-knowing creator God to demand we have "faith", which is an involuntary, irrational, and emotional response, and not give us the sufficient objectively convincing evidence we would need to rationally accept whatever it is he demands we have faith in.
