Dang bro, I don't think that love is worthless since it's a chemical reaction, but the thing with talking about god is using something that isn't confirmed to confirm something else, and that's a logical fallacy.

Yes! Love is willing the good of another which is from Thomas Aquinas. A great Catholic theologian.
This is why it makes no sense to say that salvation comes from faith alone. If we are called to love, Christ, then doing good works that not only show our love to Jesus, but also help us to trust him more with each good work then our salvation is wrapped up in good works, as well as The primary source of our salvation, which is gods kindness, or Grace.
If you don’t agree, please let me know what it would look like to be someone who enjoys God’s salvation without ever having done any good works. And remember faith means trust which is itself a work.

I believe it’s in God’s very nature to give and receive love and that’s why he created us. He didn’t create us to have someone to control which is why He gave us free will. We get to choose to believe in and follow Him or not. Adam and Eve chose to disobey God and we paid the price for their free will until Jesus chose to suffer and die for us. Now when we choose to believe and follow Jesus we can spend eternity with God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
