It cant be on Dec 25. Biblically it cant be. The angel came to mary in the 6th month of the Hebrew calendar and 9 months later Jesus was born. So in our calendar it is October. And also the bible says there were Pastors, pastors cant be pasturing in December? Or the sheep will die from the cold. The latest they pastor is 2nd week of October, the people of that region today will tell you that.

Johnathan Cahn breaks it down for when Jesus would've been born being the 1st of April aka Nisan 1 according to the Jewish lunar calendar. Being a lunar calendar the date changes every year when converted to the Gregorian calendar. Next year will be on April 9th western calendar. Just look up "Johnathan Cahn when was Jesus born?"

There's two separate sides of research going on. If Nicholas was a real person why is there research shown on a different channel that "santa clause" is based off of pagan gods? There's also two different sides of the history of the christmas tree. The *dutch* are those held responsible for the *heretical* teaching of Nicholas making annual kid checkups. The santa helper Pete being muslim makes no sense. allah of islam is racist according to the quran text of the final judgement making all the non believers turn black. You have dutch racism for the sake of holiday folklore. Why would Nicholas hire him as a helper in the first place. None of this is God approved.

There's no commandment to celebrate 'Christmas' or remember the birth of Christ in the Bible...but rather to remember what he did on the cross for our salvation. But how can we even think to mark the "birth" of the everlasting Father (Isaiah 9:6)

@Matthew_Holton Says:
well the tree (and decorating it) is pagan, gift giving is pagan (from ancient Babylonian times), mistletoe is pagan, midwinter celebration is pagan from solstice events and Saturnalia (these events being 'christianised' in 336AD). Santa is a derivative of St Nicholas (actually christian that one) though his modern depiction is combination of nordic/germanic characterisation and the marketing dept of Coca Cola in the 19th century. Hence the whole thing is a mishmash of varied pagan (meaning religions other than christian that pre-date christianity), cultural celebration, christian tradition and marketing. One thing you won't find in any christian scriptural source - is any reference to christmas, its date or any requirment to celebrate it.

All this only serves for all TRUE Christians to stop the worship of "Christmas". If you know GOD in Christ Jesus by the leading of The Holy Spirit, you will have nothing to do with this (I John 2:15-17; Is. 55:7-9; James 1:13-15, 4:4; II Cor 6:14-18; II Tim. 3; Mark 8:34; Rom. 12:1-2). Go and celebrate only that which glorifies The LORD! Phil. 2:5-11 and II Tim. 2:15 May The LORD of all open your eyes and hearts to His TRUTH to live and obey according to His will and not our own!

From a Christian POV— So should we have Christmas trees in our homes? And should be allow our kids to do the whole santa thing and believe he’s coming to bring their gifts? And finally what should we tell our children about why we give each other gifts?

Thank you for sharing your view. Coming from a Muslim family, questioning the reason of why Muslims do certain things in relation to Islam was not something to be encouraged, at least it was not 20-30 years ago. I was a Muslim but in late 2002 the Lord Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews, by His grace opened up my understanding and set me free from bondage of sins. Since then, the Lord Jesus Christ is my Lord and Saviour and King. He is my all in all. It was in November, and soon enough I got to celebrate my first christmas! But because of my past, I started to ask questions for the origin of things. I’d do some reading about it and brought it to prayer. I believe in the importance of having the holy fear of the Lord because it is the beginning of understanding and knowledge (from the Lord). Because I was once sincere in my walk as a Muslim, but I was sincerely wrong. Just because people are doing it and it’s the tradition, it doesn’t mean it’s right. It may be good, but it may not be right. Since then, I rather err on the side of caution, especially when it comes to a mix conclusion such as christmas or easter. 2002 was my first and last christmas celebration.

The mistletoe a popular part of Christmas was hung everywhere possible during Saturnalia and when people found themselves under it (same sex or not) the tradition was to engage in some sort of sexual act. Not very Christian sounding to me...

So many Christians are soo attached to THE Christmas’s “spirit.” The point is the point is Jesus didn’t say celebrate His birth. Followers of Christ only have (two traditions), the disciples and the Christians Churches celebrated, that is Communion and Baptism and of course we’re to attend Church regularly. Again Jesus did not say celebrate my birth. Christmas is a man made tradition, God in the scriptures tell us not to conform to the world or celebrate like them. We’re to celebrate our LORD and Savior everyday and we do this by creating our own traditions individually and with our families unto the LORD. Colossians 2:8 💝👑 “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” Romans 12:2 🙏 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

This is all fascinating history, BUT none of it is biblical. We are explicitly told by THE ALMIGHTY to not follow the traditions or doctrines of men. All I've heard this entire time is men making up traditions to honor other men, or men making their own traditions to honor The Almighty and both are wrong.

THIRTY VERSES PROOFS - NO CRUCIFIXION................. Jesus Christ was neither killed nor was he crucified, as alleged by the Christians and the Jews, but that he was alive! because: 1. Jesus was reluctant to die! He had worked out a strategy of defence to repel the Jews. Because he wanted to remain alive! 2. He beseeched God for help. With strong crying and tears for God Almighty to keep him alive! 3. God ‘heard’ his prayers which means that God accepted his prayers to keep him alive! 4. An angel of god came to strengthen him: In the hope and belief that God will save him alive! 5. Pilate finds Jesus not guilty! Good reason to keep Jesus alive! 6. Pilates wife shown a dream in which she was told that - ‘No harm should come to this just man.’ In other words that he should be saved alive! 7. Supposed to be on the cross for only three hours. According to the system in vogue, no man could die by crucifixion in so short a time which means that even if he was fastened to the cross - he was alive! 8. The other two - his ‘crossmates’ on their respective crosses were alive. So Jesus too, for the same period of time must be alive! 9. Encyclopedia biblica under article ‘cross’ - column 960 says: ‘When the spear was thrust - Jesus was alive! 10. ‘Forthwith’ came there out blood and water: ‘Forthwith’ means straightaway, immediately which was a sure sign that Jesus was alive! 11. Legs not broken - as a fulfilment of prophecy. ‘Legs’ can be of any use only if Jesus was alive! 12.Thunderstorm, earthquake, and darkening of the sun all within 3 hours! To disperse the sadistic mob to enable his ‘secret disciples’ to help, keep him alive! 13. Jews doubted his death: They suspected that he had escaped death on the cross - that he was alive! 14. Pilate ‘marvels’ to hear that Jesus was dead. He knew from experience that no man can die so soon by crucifixion. He suspected that Jesus was alive! 15. Big roomy chamber: Close at hand, and big and airy for willing hands to come to the rescue. Providence was out to keep Jesus alive! 16. Stone and ‘winding sheets’ had to be removed: Only necessary if Jesus was alive! 17. Report on winding sheets. German Scientists who carried out experiments on the ‘Shroud of Turin’ said that the heart of Jesus had not stopped functioning - that he was alive! 18. Ever in disguise! Disguise not necessary if Jesus was ‘resurrected’. Only necessary if he was alive! 19. Forbade Mary Magdalene to touch him ‘Touch me not’ for this reason that it would hurt; because he was alive! 20. ‘Not yet ascended unto my father’ In the language of the Jews, in the idiom of the Jews, he was saying, ‘I am not dead yet’, in other words, ‘I am alive!’ 21. Mary Magdalene not afraid on recognising Jesus. Because she had seen signs of life before. She was looking for a Jesus who was alive! 22. Disciples petrified on seeing Jesus in the upper-room. All their knowledge about the ‘crucifixion’ was from hearsay, therefore, they could not believe that Jesus was alive! 23. Ate food again and again in his post ‘crucifixion’ appearances. Food only necessary if he was alive! 24. Never showed himself to his enemies. Because he had escaped death by the ‘skin of his teeth’. He was alive! 25. Took only short trips. Because he was not resurrected, not spiritualised, but alive! 26. Testimony of men around the tomb “Why seek ye the living among the dead?” (Luke 24:4-5) That he is not dead, but alive! 27. Testimony of angels “angels who had said that he was alive!” (Luke 24:23) Did not say, ‘resurrected’ but the actual word uttered by the angels was ‘Alive!’ 28. Mary Magdalene testifies “they heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, they believed not” (Mark 16-11). Mary did not vouch for a spook, or ghost or spirit of Jesus but a Live Jesus. What they could not believe was that the Master was alive! 29. Dr. primrose testifies: That the ‘water and the blood’, when Jesus was lanced on the side, was on account of an upset in the nervous vessels because of the scourging by staves. Which was a sure sign that Jesus was alive! 30. Jesus had himself foretold that his miracle will be the miracle of Jonah! According to the Book of Jonah, Jonah was alive, when we expected him to be dead; similarly when we expect Jesus to be dead, he should be alive!
@faizafaiza6524 Says:
JESUS IS NOT GOD BECAUSE HE ISN’T ALL-POWERFUL, AND NOT ALL-KNOWING The Bible clearly shows that Jesus was not all-powerful and all-knowing as the true God should be Christians and Muslims agree that God is all-powerful and all-knowing. The Gospels show that Jesus was not all-powerful, and not all-knowing, since he had some limitations. Mark tells us in his gospel that Jesus was unable to do any powerful work in his hometown except few things: “He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.” (Mark 6:5) . Mark also tells us that when Jesus tried to heal a certain blind man, the man was not healed after the first attempt, and Jesus had to try a second time (see Mark 8:22-26). Therefore, although we hold a great love and respect for Jesus, we need to understand that he is not the all-powerful God. Mark’s Gospel also reveals that Jesus had limitations in his knowledge. In Mark 13:32, Jesus declared that he himself does not know when the last day will occur, but the Father alone knows that (see also Matthew 24:36). Therefore, Jesus could not have been the all-knowing God. Some will say that Jesus knew when the last day will occur, but he chose not to tell. But that complicates matters further. Jesus could have said that he knows but he does not wish to tell. Instead, he said that he does not know. We must believe him. Jesus does not lie at all. The Gospel of Luke also reveals that Jesus had limited knowledge. Luke says that Jesus increased in wisdom (Luke 2:52). In Hebrews too (Hebrews 5:8) we read that Jesus learned obedience. But God’s knowledge and wisdom is always perfect, and God does not learn new things. He knows everything always. So, if Jesus learned something new, that proves that he did not know everything before that, and thus he was not God. Another example for the limited knowledge of Jesus is the fig tree episode in the Gospels. Mark tells us as follows : “The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs.” (Mark 11:12-13) . It is clear from these verses that the knowledge of Jesus was limited on two counts. First, he did not know that the tree had no fruit until he came to it. Second, he did not know that it was not the right season to expect figs on trees. Can he become God later? No! Because there is only one God, and He is God from everlasting to everlasting (see Psalms 90:2). Someone may say that Jesus was God but he took the form of a servant and therefore became limited. Well, that would mean that God changed. But God does not change. God said so according to Malachi 3:6. Jesus never was God, and never will be. In the Bible, God declares: “Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.” (Isaiah 43:10) .
