I remember in my younger days I used to watch people like Kenneth Copeland. Dear Lord Jesus. What was I thinking? What really made me think was when I saw one of my friends giving all of her money to their church and she didn't even have a bed to sleep on or furniture. God wants us holy, faithful and obedient far more than happy. Trials and testing come mainly for those reasons and it can be a very painful process at times. But with that comes the joy of a closer walk with God and the rewards of a stronger faith and assurance that will carry us much farther than some temporal pleasures. Store up treasures in Heaven.
