Some religions teach that their god punishes people for sin to keep them in a state of fear and obedience. Is the God of the Bible like that? Does God punish us for our sins here on earth? And is Covid a punishment for rebelling against Him? Sure, He sent the plagues against Egypt, but it does not mean that all-natural disasters are a judgment from God.
