My son is on the public school in California. My wife and I have expectations for him, such as do your best and get excellent grade, be accountable, it is ok to fail ... My son says some of his teacher don't care about the students outcome and the school does nothing about the issues created by other students and some parents. It sounds like Mr. Canada is holding the students accountable and responsible for their learning which in turn allows the kids to thrive and be successful at whatever they want.
