There is no difference in how we know God or how we follow God or how God saves us only a change in knowledge. So what about those who haven't heard like the deserted Islander? They are saved the same way as those who have heard Grace through faith - Jesus's sacrifice, they just have less knowledge and it would be cruel to hold them to the same standard of those who have more knowledge so they will be judged by the knowledge they do have. Follow God through his laws on the heart? Romans 2:15 So they show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts either accusing or defending them
Saved By Jesus sacrifice? Ephesians 2:8-10 For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.

As for it proving god doesn't exist, it isn't necessary to prove god doesn't exist what is necessary is evidence that he DOES exist. I have NEVER been able to get a Christian to provide evidence that proves their god exists, strange.

We don't need God to explain many phenomenon of the universe. The ancient Greeks thought that lightning was the work of God but we grew past that. Anytime people said they this phenomenon can't be explained by science, it was eventually explained by science. So when people say science explains everything they mean that, all observable and testable phenomenon will one day be explained by science.
