The Roman Catholic Doctrine Of Discovery resulted in the extermination of 56 million Indigenous Non-Europeans. As the Pope in the 15th century wrote in his Papal Bull. If they refuse to convert then vanquish them all. The Roman Catholic Teaching Of Jewish Deicide resulted in the extermination of 6 million Jews. This makes Christianity even more genocidal that Hitler or Stalin or even Chairman Mao. So the ideal that Christian's are loving people is refuted by their own history. 💙

Loving our enemies doesn't mean that we must be OK with whatever our enemies do. There are always right and wrong. Jesus didn't come to Earth for peace, remember that, but what he meant here is that so often we must not forget that we are not God. There are things that we must humbly rely on God, and we only do the best that we can do on our part. Loving our enemies here also means having a compassion, but only after we recognize that what is right and what is wrong.

I know the pain that involves in letting go of treasured beliefs and comforts in your mind. They are like sweets you can suck when you feel upset. Your religious mental images soothe and give you temporary rest from anxiety. But this is all that they are in your mind - "sweets" to soothe and release the stress - which besets you in your daily life. And so was it when Jesus came to the Jews - 2,000 years ago. They were subject to great pressure and stress induced by the teachings of the Jewish Priests. I want you to bear in mind - that at that time - the greatest religious concern among the Jews was wrong-doing - breaking the Ten Commandments - and thereby - incurring the wrath of God and opening themselves to some form of punishment in their daily lives. Even Jesus rebelled against such beliefs. They were abhorrent to him.  When Jesus returned from the desert and proclaimed: "Good News! Heaven is in your midst!" The Jewish Priests were appalled because they controlled the unruly Jews through threats and fear of God. Jesus spoke to the Jews and turned their religious beliefs upside down. Jesus said to the Jews: "God is exactly like your human father who provides you with everything you need. God is in Heaven. God is within you." "God even knows when a bird falls to the ground - and the hairs on your head are numbered." "He is a fool!" - the Jews said - and loudly ridiculed the statement of Jesus: "God is within you." "Tell us - how can "God" be within a person?" the Jews shouted derisively. I would like you to think about these statements (and I must tell you that the greater bulk of the teachings of Jesus were not recorded after the death of Jesus - since they would have aroused a great deal more hostility towards the followers of Jesus and put them in even greater danger). Consider this image of a creator who knows every hair on your head and the fall of a bird. Does this fit in with the prophetical pictures of a "God on High" who discerns the wicked and the just and sends down appropriate punishments and rewards?  Can you reconcile a Loving God who - Jesus said - even had a care for the flowers and decked them in gorgeous colors with the "God" who demanded blood sacrifice to receive the forgiveness of sins? Can you see any logical connection between two such "Gods?" It is now a matter of urgency for Christians to sort out their beliefs and decide whether Christians are truly followers of Christ or followers of the Judaic teachings handed down by the prophets? Which "God" will Christians choose to adopt as their own? Jesus' or the "God of Judah?" The Loving God or the "God" who punishes humans for wrong-doing they are incapable of avoiding - who exacts payment by the death of his "beloved son" on the cross - whom Christians also call "God." So "God" was crucified to pay for the sins of the world committed by people whom God created - to fulfill the law of God.  But only people who BELIEVE in this concept will be saved - the rest of the world - ignorant or not of Christianity will pay the penalty for their misdeeds. So the "son of God" supposedly went through all that pain and suffering and died to save a minority of people who were fortunate enough to hear about this miraculous occurrence of "a "God" crucified to save human beings from the punishment normally due to wrongdoers." As far as "God" was concerned - the others - the ignorant and the non-believers - could remain in hell for all eternity. The belief that Jesus allowed himself to be crucified to "pay for the sins of the world" is pure nonsense. The truth is: Jesus had knowingly broken the laws of Judaism - Jesus had set his face against the Jewish Religious Hierarchy - Jesus had unwittingly initiated public disturbances and invoked the displeasure of the Roman Governor - therefore it was time for Jesus to exit the world - and Jesus was glad to go. It is perfectly true that people still come to Jesus in all sincerity begging for forgiveness and strength to deal with their daily lives - to tell you the truth: Jesus did respond and have enable them to see their "wrong-doing" and obtain the strength to put it to one side in order to live in a more enlightened way. But Jesus did not - in any shape or form - paid for our sins. This is a myth and a fallacy. We are responsible for ourselves. Jesus only offered us a way to make true spiritual progress.

God the father, came to earth in human form as Jesus son of God, to fulfill the law. lived a sinless life, righteous in God's eyes. then took up all sins on himself and died on the cross and paid the price for sin. served our time in hell, 3 hrs(infinity because 1 sec is like a thousand years for god) without the fathers presence, hence why he said my God first time on the cross. died and rose again, defeating death. before leaving earth he left his people a helper The Holy Spirit. told the disciples to share thier testimony of thier time with Jesus, as we are to do also with the people who still don't know him, and it'll happen until every man hears the gospel

The guy saids loving your neighbor and your enemies makes himself a lunatic. I understand he is trying hard to make Jesus the lunatic, but as always satan fails miserably.
@georgeochs1302 Says:
Apparently this man can't comprehend light, love, goodness, humility and mercy. That is what Jesus is, the light and can shine it on anyone, even our enemies, no matter how dark they are. He said I'm the way, the truth and the life, that may sound like lunacy, but add the witnessed miracles and that squashes the lunacy issue. You cannot compare the japanese soldier or anyone to Christ, that is lunacy in itself, based on the evidence. Pray this man and all others who try to compare the son of God to a man, to comprehend the light. Amen.
@RangerRyke Says:
He wasn’t a lunatic if he was right. What a concept! To be fair, the objection/question didn’t seem well thought out.

The purpose of life.i doubt whether anyone can answer this question in General terms.For the purpose of life differs from person to person,day to day and hour to hour.What matters therefore is the specific purpose of a person's life at a given moment and circumstance.

Well if u think loving your own creation is crazy. remember God created man and wants man to live forever with him in Paradise that is why Christ came to live a sinless life to give that life up for the sins of the world so that we may become sons and daughters of the most high and inherit the kingdom of heaven.

@edgarmorales4476 Says:
WHEN ARE CHRISTIANS GOING TO WAKE UP - GROW UP AND DECIDE THEY WILL HAVE THE COURAGE TO CAST ASIDE THEIR OLD WELL-LOVED MYTHS OF JESUS BLEEDING ON A CROSS - PAYING FOR THEIR SINS? When will Christians accept JESUS' Truth - the truth that Jesus was seen to be a menace to public peace and a MENACE TO THE JEWISH PRIESTS because Jesus taught: God is Love. Therefore - GOD does not need animal or human blood sacrifices to receive the forgiveness of sins! Jesus taught us that LOVE and FORGIVENESS is essential to experience a happy and healthy life - while many still teach: "an eye for an eye" or "blood for blood" or that GOD sends them into Holy Wars against the "pagans." Jesus taught us that we should not be worried about unclean drinking cups - but should watch what came from our minds and mouths. That is WHY Jesus taught LOVE and FORGIVENESS - which people now need so urgently to save themselves and the planet from wholesale disaster.

Problems for Trinitarians. Jesus affirms that his Father is the only one who is truly God and that he ( Jesus) is the Messiah — the Christ (John 17:3). Jesus tells Mary Magdalene that his Father is in fact his God ( John 20:17) YHWH establishes that “he" is the only God, and beside him there is no one else. ((Isaiah 45:5-6) Jesus is Lord and Messiah that we Honor, but he not God, as demonstrated above. God is Jesus's Father, Jehovah.

Why do nonbelievers bash believers so much on these type of videos and why are they even watching them??? And what happens if and when the time comes and there is a GOD???
@sonofode902 Says:
If the purpose of life is to KNOW God, then the command of loving your enemies is to put our feet in God's shoes (a practical way to know someone). God loves us even when we sin (violate - become enemy) against Him. And the proof of that is He died on the cross for us - the act of self-sacrifice for us who made ourselves His enemy by sinning. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.
@williamrice3052 Says:
If you love your enemy they cease to be your enemy from your own perspective and ultimately theirs as well - it seems less like lunacy and more like the higher wisdom of God. God sends Jesus to redeem us, Jesus and The Father are one, that's the greater love of a Father towards His children.
@ZacharyJ2001 Says:
I hate when people include “we”. Like “we don’t know if God exists.” No sir, it’s you who don’t know. Just because you don’t know something, doesn’t mean the whole world doesn’t. It’s when people see themselves as the center of the universe.
@kell_checks_in Says:
This snippet doesn't really address the question. There are secular, apologetic approaches that show how being totally loon crazy and loving your neighbor actually monkey-wrenches tyranny. It's an incredibly accessible and effective way to effect needed change, and sometimes it's the only method available to the oppressed. (This looks like it's an address to a men's group? Hint: if you're talking to a mixed audience, lose the "football" metaphors.)

I've had people tell me I'm too nice, like as a complaint. As if kindness and compassion is a bad thing....it's so odd to me that being nice to people is negative. Is our world that dark that it can't comprehend light???
@maranatha8524 Says:
The question here wasn’t really relevant, and it was nonsensical. How can a ‘finite’ man with a 3kg brain of which only 10 % is intellectually used (and 10% is generous) question the intent of Almighty God, the creator of it all? 🤷🙏
