The gospel changes minds which changes character which changes actions.
Don’t waste your time in politics. Invest your time in the gospel of the kingdom and by default they will become righteous and communities and societies will change.
It blows my mind at how many people know politics and yet have never read their bible. So focused on trying to change the here and now to better suite a more “comfortable” life rather than changing the minds and hearts of humanity.
@bernard4459 Says:
Yes I will vote for God's law categorically with blind faith as I am commanded to do so. I am 100% serious. I will vote for God's morality even if it comes at some economic cost because money and resources can be found or redistributed, anything is worth saving a soul from damnation.
@gorillaz_jbi Says:
You can think politics is a savior for everything, but it’s not. You can think politics is irrelevant and just preach the gospel, but that’s not good either.
Our ability to preach the gospel legally is based on politics. How are Christians able to all meet together in a room peacefully? Because of freedom of religion. One day we might not have it anymore and we’ll have to go underground. God can obviously still get His will done through that, but why would we want it to be that way? Laws affect EVERYTHING. Freedom, church, children, family, health, money, business, property, school, home, security, safety, poor, unborn, gospel, etc. Whether those laws are made in New York, California, or in your localities.
So being involved politically is necessary, no matter what your stance is. There will always be dissension. It’s hard for me to believe that someone who is a Christian and yet disagrees with Jesus. Some things are pretty clear. I know this is controversial but it shouldn’t be.
Can Christians preach or live the gospel freely in Afghanistan? The answer is no. Why? Because of politics. Sorry, but if you don’t think politics are important, you don’t think the gospel is important. Nor do you think the safety and flourishing of other people is important.
@adammb9204 Says:

@echoesofthepast-w1u Says:
No Christian Pastor I have ever fellowshipped with believed in or preached politics. Oversight in the Church is raised up to preach the gospel. Under no circumstances would an actual Christian preach politics! If your religious leaders preach politics, then your religion should pay taxes!

@mywong2411 Says:
The problem is when Christians get involved in politics , they're roped into the junk of other politicians who would pressure them to do things that are against God's laws.

As an outspoken Atheist, there is virtually “zero” reason for religion’s sticking their immoral, divisive, delusional, hypocritical horseshit theology into any public, political, social, educational, or world issues!

One test of your Christianity is to try to export it to other parts of the world. Try to go to India or Myanmar or China and have this same view. Doesn’t work does it? Stick to the gospel. Regenerate hearts save people, not political change
