The true way to understand who Christ is , is to understand how language has barriers to truth so one must examine the real Aramaic and Hebraic scriptures as well as many other Holy Scriptures. Not all of the Biblical Jesus is the historical Jesus. This we know for certain. There are words put in his mouth that he cannot have said, and there is legendary material in his narratives pulled from pre-existing sources. So, no, it isn't accurate to claim the "Biblical" is the real Jesus. When you make a thorough study of Jesus' teachings with an adequate background knowledge, and understand their essential meaning and provenance, and discern what is authentic from what isn't, and you peal back all the layers of the onion, removing what isn't historical, you are left with a peculiar Jesus that looks more like the "New Age" Jesus. But even this can be misleading, because you can hardly define what "New Age" is, and can easily distort and add a number of elements which do not belong, as the woman in this Video does. It is difficult to define a Biblical Jesus, much more difficult to define a New Age Jesus. With that said, I do not think there is any incompatibility with the "New Age" Jesus and an Orthodox Jesus. Theological development is appropriate as long as you know what is developed vs what is historical. Can a Gnostic revealer of spiritual mysteries and ascended master who teaches a spiritual discipline of liberation which leads to Divinization also be pre-existant Lord and Savior of the world through an atoning act of sacrifice on a cross? Sure, both of these are compatible.

Lord Jesus Christ told the apostles that they would do all themiracles that He did, it's really the Holy Spirit doing it, and more. This can be either two things, that all of Gods children have this authority, or only the apostles had it. I believe we all have the same authority, but it is only possible with Holy Spirit.
