Psalm 139:7-10 7 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? 8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. 9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, 10 even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

sad to see all those germaphobes, cowards, and "Christians" that reject God's design for health. God gave us an immune system, bravery, and reason. Without germs, viruses, bacteria, and pathogens we would all be dead or be sick all the time. We are 90% bacteria. It is through homeostasis we stay health, can thrive and reach optimal health. It is when we don't take care of our diet, lifestyle choices, and toxins in our environment that this homeostasis gets disrupted and we get sick. Healthy people don't get sick. These "christians" are doing the very same thing the german christians did under Hitler. They are choosing government over God, compliance over Jesus, Hitler over the cross. Do not conform to the world nor worship other gods. May God forgive them of idolatry. Masks and the religion of public health is their god.

So true, many times in resolute effort to let us feel less guilty, we rather "decide" the justifier is or should be our OWN thoughts [want's] and feelings. Nicely labelled & comfortably packaged BY US in error under The Holy Spirit's "silent voice - guiding us ". ESPECIALLY when we do not want to accept it, or take the necessary measures to work to understand what Scripture says about any given subject.

Franks referance to the Book of Proverbs, I can only imagine he is refering to Proverbs 3:6 "In ALL thy ways acknowledge the Lord, and he SHALL direct thy paths."
@WildWing81-q3f Says:
So here's a question. Based on what Frank Turek explains, then there wouldn't be a point for us to pray to God about decisions we need to make in life? Because we wouldn't expect Him to respond? Also dosen't seem to add up because the Bible also tells us to ask for wisdom. For avoidance of doubt, I do not at all discount the importance of the Bible. I believe everything must be in line with the word of God

In some ways I agree with this. Like, my mom wouldn’t go to prayer meeting because God “didn’t tell her” to go! But at the same time, God is very personal and is interested in the details of our lives. He gave us His Holy Spirit to guide us in specific directions that are only unique to us. If someone doesn’t understand this I might question if they truly know Jesus.

Heard a sermon several weeks ago along the same line which the preacher said about God’s commands: general, specific, and immediate.

I am overwhelmed by how much I needed to hear this. As a very rational person, hearing about supernatural callings of God (which I do believe in) to the mission field have always made me, as a missionary-hopeful, feel inadequate or even misguided in believing God has a purpose for me. God has already told me to go, I don't need to wait for Him to start evangelizing NOW. He's already changed me so I can change others!
@SaudaraLink Says:
It's okay to pray to God for specific direction, and one can pray in faith about it. Getting specific direction about who to marry is fine. But that doesn't mean that everyone gets directed that way about any specific decision. There are examples in the Bible In the New Testament, a ministry associated with the word 'call' is apostle. Paul was called to be an apostle. What did apostles do? They preached Christ, appointed elders, and established churches. This is what some missionaries do. Not all. Some are teachers, social workers, etc. The second 'generation' of apostles were sent out after the Spirit spoke to them and other prophets and teachers in the church. Paul was one of these and he claimed to be called. The Bible never mentions 'called' in relation to elders of the church. The bishop has a desire to minister in that role and fits certain lifestyle requirements. But if God speaks to someone to confirm or encourage them in that role, that's fine.

“If you declare with your mouth “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). Now is the time to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. Obey His commands and repent of your sins because Jesus is coming back soon. Tomorrow isn’t promised.

from my point of view.... like a phone message status.... the bible holds dailies and for the end of our Earthly lives, on what to do everyday... But in emergencies maybe, nothing beats extra care.... i think both ways are being used.... I think people aren't intelligent enough to accurately answer this question... pastors can fail like priests can.... to the people in question... put it this way.... Can God beat you in creating a planet? (without reading the bible, first answer) ... Why would you say, "Yes"? because is a universal "Given" like defined... When you read the bible, "Waoh, I don't have a slim chance of such thing". DID YOU CAPTURE THE SPEED IN HOW BOTH STATEMENTS WERE ANSWERED? TOO ... fast..... Good is GOOD... just feel normal talking with him....

⭐️👈👼🏿👉🏽⭐️ God exists in three times: the past, now, and the future. He is travel the world with speed of light so his voice comes to your ears with delay, because the light is faster than sound. God wants you to become God one day, because he is God of the Gods. Becoming God is very slow and painful process and not many of you will be honoured to see him at his golden throne. The Holy Spirit sets daily angels and archangels on your way so you can pass through the past safely. You only have to learn how to follow signs to never fall into devils trap.

Can someone explain to me this contradiction in the Bible? 2 Kings 8:26 Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign; and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Athaliah, the daughter of Omri king of Israel. 2 Chronicles 22:2 Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Athaliah the daughter of Omri. How can I base my faith on something that has contradictions like this?

Because of impatience of Abraham and Rebeca, they decided to let their maid have the Baby of Abraham, asuming it might become what God promised them, but what happened, the son the maid gave is one of the extreme enemies of God's People Israel, God tested them and they failed but still, God gave them a miracle child through their own, and Isaac was Born. Seeking God's Will always is sign of Spiritual Growth, and a way to prevent worst consequences in life, God always wants the best for His Children

So.... God is too busy or too unwilling to communicate with us regularly in our lives? I disagree —strongly. I set goals. I pray to the Lord regarding those things. My ultimate goal is to glorify the son by doing what he tells me. He regularly communicates with me through various means. I’m on the mission field. Twice today he interacted with me specifically; not because I needed him to prove himself to me — but because I take him at his word. I trust that he will lead me. He does. I have lived this way many years and have been blessed because of it. I could share numerous stories of his faithfulness to me. I’m on an adventure. I’m on a treasure hunt. I rejoice to do his will because he is willing to interact with me intimately. And when there are times that I don’t know what to do, i keep doing the things that i already know to do and wait on the other things.

Jesus Christ loves you, so much that He died for you on the cross, to pay the penalty of your sins so that you wouldn't have to. We all have sinned and are deserving of God's wrath, but by the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross there is full pardon for whoever believes. Put your full trust and believe in Him for salvation today, because in Him there's eternal life and freedom. Who the Son sets free is free indeed 🙏🏻 Kindly consider accepting Him into your heart as your LORD and Saviour, it's the best decision you'll ever make 😊 (Romans 10:9-10 and Ephesians 2:8-9)
