I'm an Old earth creationist and i actually believe in a combination of both Gap creationism and Day-age creationism, but I'm not a thiestic evolutionist, i completely reject evolution, and i don't believe that the Genesis account is allegorical, i believe in a literal historical Adam, and i believe the Bible is the authoritative word of God, i think what really matters is that we appreciate the similarities we have before debating the differences and also remember not to make these trivial theological positions a test for orthodoxy, and start labeling fellow brothers and sisters in Christ as "Heretics"

I say slippery slope. If not 6 literal days and millions of years are possible for the earths age. Then big bang, and evolution are possible and no need for a creator. 6 days is no problem for our God.

I appreciate all you do but there is a huge problem lately with Christian Apologists pandering to poor secular science and rejecting the clear teaching of Genesis. And yes, Genesis is quite clear. It only became "unclear" when trash secular science came along and Christians were afraid of being called unscientific.
