Hello everyone!!! I need help!!!!!!!!! Im trying to figure out why my sinful ways. (In my particular case LUST) Seems to come in waves. For example I can go a week or a few with no issues. Then suddenly I am just hit so hard and i cant look or do anything that does not give me lustful issues. Once I sadly fall to my sin i am hit with massive guilt, and then the wave subsides. Then comes back harder, seems like im getting more underwater each time it comes back though.

Gods love is not earned. It’s freely given. God gets HIS WILL done through OUR free will. Only a sovereign being can do that. Because God is so sovereign, that He can get HIS WILL done through OUR free Will. He gives us the dignity of causality to actually affect time and eternity. Yes he is in control, and if He were to take away His hand from this universe and from us, we would go out of existence. This just means that He works through our free choices to get His will done. He’s completely in control and sees the beginning to end.

Why is truth a commandment and not passive that happens regardless of the decisions we make? Isn’t that really what truth is supposed to be when it is impartial? Instead we are fighting always with what is right and how to live…. That shouldn’t be how truth actualises.
