But good Christians at least according to CrossExamined believe that the Bible is the perfect word of God when in fact it is simply the social views of its authors falsely given divine authority. That automates into problems. That is why Christianity practices 1st century ignorance well into the 21st century.

But Jesus made claims that following him would change people. At least that has evolved from his saying in modern Christianity. If there is no evidence of change then this claim has to be questioned, and by extension the one making the claim, and by extension again the religion that worships him as god.
