In reality it's an important hormone for everyone, women included, but not many women are as concerned with TRT or testosterone replacement therapy like men are. TRT and any kind of hormonal therapy is a big deal and should be approached with caution and lots of research. As a generally healthy male thinking about TRT, how much thought should you be giving to optimizing your testosterone levels over optimizing your physique for optimal health? This episode is a deep dive into the kinds of things men will want to consider when thinking about testosterone, burning fat and building muscle. It goes without saying, your quality of sleep and diet play a major role in monitoring your testosterone. While we all have an ideal body-type we think is the best, no one wants to have a stunning physique, inflated ego and testosterone so low your sex life becomes non-existent. Derek of More Plates More Dates, shares his thoughts on what you should consider doing if you want to get jacked in 18 months being natty and how to differentiate being lazy from being defeated by unrealistic expectations of what's achievable without drug enhancements. Shawn Stevenson steps into the latter part of this episode to talk about your metabolic fingerprint and individualizing your health and diet goals in a practical way that actually works for you. Derek of More Plates More Dates hit 1 Million subscribers in less than a year of starting his YouTube channel with total dedication to all things self-improvement in the health and wellness arena for men. Shawn Stevenson is the best selling author of Eat Smarter and host of the Model Health Show where he's talking with world-renowned experts on health, fitness, and nutrition. His personal story of overcoming severe health problems that had him chronically debilitated is remarkable and testament to how deep his knowledge and concern for real and practical health advice goes. My Testosterone was literally 38! I was at risk of heart failure if I didn’t get on TRT. I honestly don’t think anyone should get on TRT if they are 200 or more. Increase naturally!

Watching for Derek. Bringing good stuff as usual, but the host is pretty cringe. All you have to do is ask good open ended questions and let the guest speak. Stop filling in the answers and talking about yourself.

No time stamps?
@GianniCaesar Says:
If you are serious about increasing your testosterone naturally you should read Complete Guide tò Testosterone by James. He Is over 50 not on TRT and has levels of a younger man. He knows this subject really well.

Modern life is designed to drain you. Testosterone Unchained shows exactly how and what to do about it.
@ardentobias Says:
The weird part? Everything in Testosterone Unchained feels like common sense once you see it. But it’s hidden until someone says it.
@trumanfoote Says:
Every time I slip, I go back and reread Testosterone Unchained. It’s like my blueprint for staying sharp.
@abelruvalcaba-y3m Says:
Testosterone Unchained isn’t a motivational book. It’s a manual for remembering who you’re supposed to be.
@marcellusgeyer Says:
Most advice sounds good but changes nothing. Testosterone Unchained actually lit a fire under me.
@lesgoodin Says:
What they don’t teach you in school, Testosterone Unchained reveals in brutal honesty. Every man needs to know this.

The best advice currently out there for testosterone is Complete Guide To Testosterone by James Francis. He is a natural older man and his protocol works well not only for increasing testosterone levels but also long term maintenance of testosterone levels into your 50s and 60s. Using this I am currently 884 ng/DL.
@gg7721-g3f Says:
TRT is for life most men unless they destroyed their natural hormone production via steroids or have a medical condition causing low testosterone can fix the problem without drugs. Complete guide to testosterone by james Francis is what I used with great results. If you are not happy with your testosterone levels then give it a go.

@briankuhn7396 Says:
Just blast Tren!!! Only kidding. This would be the worst advice and will destroy the natural production of Test.

@JP-fx4ki Says:
Good luck “naturally” increasing your test. Doesn’t work like that. My doctor laughed her ass off at me when I dropped 100 lbs and completely changed my diet for 2 years and expected it to be higher. T was 19 points lower. TRT it is.
@Jay-z2x Says:
What about stool implantation
@Jay-z2x Says:
Genetic hyper lypidemia you 100% want to take meds. Those people die in their 20s from heart attacks
@EtienneLeBoeuf Says:
Optimise your natural testosterone production. Much better long term strategy. I went from 334 to 960 in around 3 months all natural no TRT. This book should be essential reading for all men. Written by a 50s guy with natural T levels higher than most 20s guys Complete guide to testosterone by james Francis
@markguerrero5144 Says:
Underrated video. Too much free info. Great content.
@AcmeRocket Says:
Most have already convinced themselves they need TRT becuase they want it vs. actually needing it. If you want to find someone to convince you to do it, you will.
@duenasramon Says:
Tom! You look and have a body of a 15 yrs old school girl
@banagan4604 Says:
Everyone wants a short cut. There's TRT and TET. Most guys in their 30' and 40s, looking to get jacked, probably have sufficient T, >500, but would rather jab themselves so they're at PED levels, that's enhancement, not replacement. Putting the work in and checking all the other boxes, diet, sleep etc, should be enough to raise your T naturally and build muscle... but it all comes down to avoiding doing the work. Each to their own, but in this case, to get jacked with as little effort as possible, it's not replacement, it's enhancement. Yes, we're both at the summit of the mountain, but you got a chair lift, I climbed. We are not the same.
@BrianMcGuire-u5s Says:
The training has already been figured out. The Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding by Arnold Schwarzenegger. It's a 6 day training schedule with 3 days split training ( a.m. and p.m.) 40 grams protein every 90 minutes. Carbohydrates are dependent on bulking and cutting cycles. Anabolics are also dependent on both. HGH and insulin, etc. Is dependent on the individual and how far they are willing to go. Working up to the Advanced levels is dependent upon age and motivation. Derek here is maintaining at his current schedule, I am pretty sure. Failure should be achieved on every set.
@Jaycee3 Says:
It's not rocket science. If you don't want TRT, which honestly isn't natural since once you start the injections, your body will say 'oh, we don't need to produce it since it's coming from elsewhere' (and your balls shrink), then you should sleep well (your body creates it when you sleep), eat whole foods (meat/fats), and do Mike Mentzer training -- hit the weights as hard as possible TWICE A WEEK WITH AMPLE REST (4-6 DAYS) IN BETWEEN. Get sunlight. And do what humans did in the past.
@Ink30 Says:
Wanna get big ? 6k calories 60% from protein and trt you will be huge
@Celticman197 Says:
Shrunken testicles, low sperm count, baldness, thick blood, on TRT for life, no way.
@Nogi-aka-DJNugz Says:
Tom don’t wait - go ahead and do it bruhhhhh

@daniel_dumile Says:
This interview is pure gold, one of those rare interviews where you learn a ton
@thedakotalogs Says:
I eat less than 2000, workout and still build muscle. That also depends on how tall you are and whether you are on steroids or not
@thedakotalogs Says:
My gym has the smaller plates for weight increases.
@thedakotalogs Says:
TRT kills your natural testosterone production and make you dependent. No thanks

Damn this was just a free coaching session for this guy

@richleisy7857 Says:
Tom - I sincerely appreciate the quality of your content and guests. Period. And someone needs to tell you how silly the “OH, GEEZUS!!!” wonderment sounds. On top of being offensive to at least half your audience, it smacks of a 5th grade boy trying out the new word he learned from his older cousin….
