After watching this video Chris, now I have a real dilemma. Do this Windows 11 installation process or install Linux Mint (or Zorin OS). Decisions, decisions. What would YOU do?

I think Microsoft has made it harder to use these hacks. My USB boot went into a loop without getting to any user input. The upgrade failed on (AMD phenon 2) processor not having a critical feature (SSE 4.2) Fortunately I already had a AMD FX processor which did have SSE 4.2 and I am now using Windows 11!
@radicalcentrist4990 Says:
It's ridiculous that the one and only thing preventing me from upgrading is that TPM thing that my processor lacks. But everything else is still way above the minimum, processor with 4 cores and over 3Ghz, 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, it's definitely good enough. Such a stupid restriction.

brilliant, thanks very much! Have a great day 👌👌

Sir, you're the beast. I got all the errors that my PC doesn't support Windows 11, and using your method now, i was able to install wind 11 however, during the process, I had an error "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks." after my investigation When booting from the USB and see my disks; I have to delete all partitions on the disk, select the unallocated space, and install to that. Don't format. After that, all updates were installed with no noted issues. Thank you one more time.

Chris ,If you decide .to buy a new computer complete with win 11 how do you transfer the data from the old computer to your shiny new one if you have several user accounts on it ?
@Fundaykidzz Says:
This has helped me so much with my immediate and external family members .. besides upgrading their old mechanical drives with ssd drives and adding more ram .. for most systems I can use this bypass an upgrade to win 11 .. thank you sir

@ExplainingComputers, thank you for the shared information. I could not upgrade my PC because it says that: "Windows could not update the system reserved partition". How do I solve it?

Hi. Really find your videos interesting and informative. I came across this video on installing Win11 on unsupported hardware. https://youtu.be/DxiJCijfemA?si=poueS3BNfmd2F9Hx Do you have any thoughts on this method?

Perfect Install. You are a gentleman and a scholar. Thanks

Hi Christopher, thanks your info has worked smoothly on a mini Lenovo I have. But trying to get Win 11 on my MS surface book 3 has failed on the upgrade and fresh install routes. So I am thinking alternative OS. I am seeing Ubuntu, fedora, Zorin and BlissOS, I also see FydeOS might be options. I don’t want to waste your time, but if you happen to have an view on insights on which might be the best option, I would appreciate it👍
@VirtualBilly Says:
Does this method allow me to permanently disable forced Windows updates? Does this method allow me to permanently delete the useless 8.6GB junk file?
@idiocratease Says:
Thanks very much for putting this info together Christopher. You are top!
@alfordang Says:
Thanks, my laptop looks as new!
@SupersonicDiesel Says:
Thank you- very useful video. We have a situation in the world with unsustainable disposal of garbage, supply chain issues with rare earths due to geopolitical issues etc., and on the other hand, tech companies like Microsoft, while mouthing off platitudes about ESG, want us to dispose of working hardware one year from now just because they arbitrarily decided to not support it in their W11, even when said hardware is highly capable
@Radhapzr Says:
My laptop has been getting slow since I installed Windows 11 using this method. why?
@richardberger414 Says:
I'm wondering if I can edit the registry before I run the update?
@Skydave13 Says:
Thank you very much the process you described worked on my Dell laptop it does have TMP 2.0 but they do not support my AMD processor, it took a while but it works. Question can I Activate windows 11? Again thank you so much for the great video.
@esjabear1168 Says:
My computer's motherboard won't support Windows 11. If I replace it with a new motherboard, will my machine still run my Windows 10? If so, then I can upgrade to Windows 11 without the cost of buying a new computer. Thanks.
@manu55pool Says:
There are many requirements. Before everything was much simpler. Now I'm thinking if I should update. In any case, do you know a good keys retail site?

upgrade registry hack... doesnt work with TPM requirement now
@christianwn Says:
It is pass time to give Bill Gates the middle finger. Consumer power. Linux is mature enough. Now we need to push software developers to start supporting linux.
@glcallegari Says:
There is a more simple way to update to Windows 11 from Windows 10 (second method) After downloading the ISO Windows 11 file, click with right button over it and mount the ISO. Then open CMD with administrative privileges on the mounted ISO drive (like F: or G: or any other) and then run the command on root folder: "setup /product server" (without "" logically 😁). So, follow the instructions... You are welcome!

What if your boot your usb key with poweriso will it not work?
@ralftadiar2155 Says:
You are the best mate! 👌Even though I am not that tech savvy in the software side. I upgraded my old and very slow Windows10 Pro HP Elite Desk to Windows 11 Pro OS just last week. It's fast and smooth now. Looking forward to more clear and helpful videos.
@rooscow Says:
The warning about further support by installing Win 11 on unsupported computers is a moot point. They won't support computers for free if you don't upgrade either. It's called planned obsolescence to generate more sales/revenues.
@durvient Says:
Thank you for the tutorial, managed to install Win11 on my high spec ThinkPad T470, a very capable device which Microsoft wanted me to scrap.
@thboomsma Says:
Amazingly detailed video .. saved me the cost of buying new laptops!! Thanks
@doomed-y3s Says:
thats not a smart thing to do because with a update it can destroy your computer and all the data you had on it
@AlphaCentauri24 Says:
This is going to be incredibly helpful. Thank you, good Sir.
@bennysh Says:
It's Aug 2024 and I'm thanking you for the great explanation which I'm now following :)
@Wol747 Says:
August 2024: I spent a couple of hours trying to make a W11 bootable USB stick but gave up - each time there were different error messages and the final time there was just an empty USB stick but with no error messages! Tried with half a dozen sticks and different downloads but no good. I think MS has stopped it.
