Here's the issue I have which is starting to lead me away from Christianity. We all sin, so Jesus died for our sins so we can be saved. But of course, we don't just decide to sin all we went just because we're saved, we decide to follow Jesus & try to live the way he did. All of that is great & makes sense. Here's what's been stumping me though.
According to the Bible, if I live the best life I can, if I try my absolute best to follow Christs teachings, & I know that Christs teachings are good & I will be happier if I follow them, I will still be damned for all eternity just based off the fact that maybe I didn't believe in Jesus. That's not to say that I think Jesus is evil or that I don't agree with what he did. I love Jesus, I'm just not sure he actually rose from the dead. Sure the Bible says it, but the Bible is an ancient book with many interpretations. It seems to be Christians more than anyone that argue amongst each other about what the Bible says. Christians calling other Christians evil or "lukewarm" because they don't interpret the Bible in the same way they do. There also seem to be so many Christians that believe that non believers hate Jesus or think he's evil. I can't tell you how many people I know personally that love the idea of Jesus, & do believe his teachings are wise & good, & these people are no less of a good person than any other Christian; supposedly, these people will not be saved because they never accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord & Savior. The problem is, I know these people would, & I would & have accepted Jesus as my lord & Savior. But living in the modern world with so many view points from different religious scholars & not actually having a clear idea of what really happened makes the whole thing confusing to anyone.
So if I were to have died last year, I'd be saved. But if I died in 10 years from now, & let's say I stepped back from Christianity to look into other religions, would I not be saved?
What about all of the peacemakers who were non-Christian who lived nothing but a holy life also living the best they can to follow Jesus?
Or the people who follow Jesus but believe he's a prophet? At the end of the day, we are told to believe in his name. Not to know it, because as smart as you'd like to think you are or as much proof or evidence you think you have of Jesus rising from the dead, there will always be valid view points from the other side that don't add up to what the Bible teaches.
It's getting really hard for me to believe in the resurrection when everybody has a different belief for their own valid reason. To all the Christians, not everything is so black & white. It's not like the people who don't believe in the resurrection are just choosing not to believe in Jesus because they're "self righteous" or because "they think they don't need Jesus". It also seems like so many Christians just say what they need to say to have their make sense because they NEED it to be true.
Non-believers are going to hell for eternity, believers are saved for eternity.
With this idea in mind, of course Christians are gonna do everything they can to make this idea make sense because they live in a scarcity mind set. They live in fear that if they decide not to believe based off of what makes most sense to that person, they might not be saved. So here are so many Christians telling everyone to repent & believe in him trying to scare people of the idea that they will be damned for ETERNITY.
Believe me. I want to be Christian, & I've tried. & I'm not saying I'm giving up on Christianity, but I'm at a point in my life where I need to take a step back & really look around & ask, "what am I doing? What do I really believe & are my beliefs leading me to be a more loving person, or are they leading me to be some street preacher trying to convince everyone they need to repent & believe in Jesus OR ELSE, YOU'RE DAMNED FOR ETERNITY".
Honestly it's just started to not add up to me.

Hebrews 10:31 say It is a fearful things to fall into the hands of the Living God. romans 3:10 says there is none good, no not one. In an earthly court of law when you are arrested for a crime, you stand in front of a judge for that crime, your good works don’t come in to play, if you say sorry, you will not set you free, you and all of us should be sorry but that has no effect on the ruling, our guilt condemns us all. That is the reality, at least apart from Jesus Christ. So see It’s not that God makes us choose, weve already chosen and our condemnation is just. We chose to rebel and break His law, and the fact that he is a perfect Judge means that sin cannot go unpunished, if it went unpunished, if He let sin go unpunished than he would not be just. So, This is God’s love and mercy…God, left the glory of Heaven to became a rejected and despised Man, Jesus of Nazareth, He lived a perfect life without sin, even though he was tempted in every way, as we are and He WILLINGLY took then took the punishment that we deserve for our sin. He was disrespected by His creation, by the people He was dying for! His followers abandoned Him, He was falsely accused, they tried Him illegaly, they abused Him, beat Him, ripped out his beard, they spit in his face. They blindfolded him and struck Him, mocking, saying, “prophesy, who hit you?” They laughed. The people had opportunity to set him free, but they cheered and shouted, “crucify him, Let the criminal go instead.” he was whipped and beaten unrecognizable, then made to carry his cross until he collapsed. They put nails in his wrists between the two bones in your forearm, the radius in the ulna, most likely piercing, or maybe destroying his median nerve. I know about the median nerve. That’s one of the places I got popped, when it happened it only partially damaged the nerve and most of the feeling in my hand was gone but I felt immense pain for months and months theres no pain like nerve pain. I still feel the numbness and hurt in the cold, its been over 6 years, almost 7. They drove a spike through his feet. Not even knowing they were fulfilling, many prophecies. I don’t know if you guys know about crucifixion, but the way most people passed from it is was not being able to breathe. The way your body is being pulled down, you can’t breathe, unless you push yourself up, which is excruciating and Christ was on the cross for 3-6 hours, I believe. After which He said it is finished” and gave up His soul. but after three days, he rose from the grave, and broke deaths hold on us who are in him. my point is God is so gracious, so merciful, loving and true that your sins couldn’t be forgiven, unless they were paid for, and he knew that no one could pay for them, except for someone who had no sin and like I said, there is none good no not one. But God is good, so he took the punishment that we deserve. So do you see, God is not willing that any should perish but all come to everlasting life 2 peter 3:9. We chose to take a path that leads to our destruction but God endured the pain that we deserve because of our crimes so we don’t have to be eternally separated from him in torment. That’s the most loving thing he could do. It says that while we were yet sinners and enemies of God, he gave His life for us. Because us who are not in Christ live a life of sin at war with God.
Not only did he take our punishment, but he gives salvation freely to whoever will accept it, but guess what there will still be people who rejected him and the rejected his free gift, Probably for many reasons, but I assume many will reject because of pride in because they don’t want there to be a God because they love their sin more than anything. But this earth is fleeting. What’s the max age that people live to nowadays? Think about that number then compare if to eternity which is not 1 million not 1 trillion not 100 trillion years, but forever. And wherever you go when you pass, or when the Lord comes back, there will be no more choice there will be no more escape.
And lastly, people who will be eternally separated from God, they don’t want to be in heaven. Of course, those who are in torment would rather be in heaven. But heaven is a place where we will have fellowship and relationship with God. Myself and other believers love God, we want to know him, we want to please him we want to be in His presence. Those who reject God don’t want that so heaven will not be fun for them, but I’ll tell you one thing there was a point in my life where I rejected God and loved my sin, but the Holy Spirit made me new, and gave me new desires, enabling me to love him, and even when I fall, I always run back. Praise his holy name. Thank you Lord for your glory, for your mercy, and for your grace. I deserve none of it, but you love me and I love you because you have loved me, help me to love you more with all of my heart all of my mind, all of my soul and all of my strength. of salvation, tomorrow is not promised. Seek the Lord while he may be found. You don’t know what tomorrow brings. You don’t know what the next minute brings. If u have doubts research, read the Bible in context and pray for wisdom, understanding and ask the Lord to reveal Himself to you. Check the historical accuracy of the Bible and of Jesus, his life, death and resurrection. BUT DO IN A WAY WHERE YOUR HEART IS OPEN AND WHERE YOU ARE, earnestly AND HONESTLY SEEKING FOR TRUTH. Don’t have malice in your heart while you do it, dont let ur desires get in the way, get rid of your preconceived notions, but keep ur intellect and seek truth. The Lord will prove himself true and faithful every trip

Heb 10: 26-31 said, if you sin willfully after you've heard the knowledge of truth, after you know the way of salvation is only found in Jesus Christ and none else, so when you refused or rejected what Jesus did on Mount Calvary to be The only way to be saved, then you shall be condemned, and there shall be no more salvation left for you (John 3: 17-18, 5: 24, 6: 47, 8: 24) . Sin is unbelieve and that's the only sin that will condemn you to hell. You don't want to accept Jesus' way to be saved because you wanted to do it your own way (through good works)? then you've sin.
Jesus said YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN as there is NO other ways to be saved. (John 3: 3-7)

Coming to the issue of Jesus as THE ONLY WAY TO GOD, we do agree that during his lifetime, he was the only way to God, but during the time of other prophets of God, they were the way to God. During the time of Moses, he was the truth, the way and the life, which means that by following this true way, you will get the life, the eternal life. And so it is for the other prophets during their time. If we say that ONLY Jesus is the way to God and the way to salvation, that means that God has commited a great injustice, becuse he will send to hell all the people that lived before Jesus. But of course that this is not true at all, because the way of salvation was there from the beginning. It would be unjust from God to send people to hell for not believing in his way of salvation, a way that didnt exist in the first place. So, the way of salvation was there. But, here is another problem: if salavation was already there before Jesus, then why did Jesus die? That means that Jesus died for nothing, which makes the situation even worst for the christians, because without the death of Jesus there is no christianity.
