Even if Matrix was true, it doesn't change anything. Outside of this dream state we live in, there still needs to be a God who created the actual world. A problem of sin still has to be solved by a God himself. Only he can be the Saviour we all need, so we should trust in him and his love to receive forgiveness. Nothing changes, just the layer of reality we look at.
