Wow. What a failure. Crossexamined at his best.

I think you might be missing it. It’s not at all a matter of convincing someone intellectually. Only the Holy Spirit can open their spiritual eyes and ears. You just need to share the gospel with them. Remember, plant the seat or water it but God alone grows it.

A steller showing how just now not-resistant most non-belivers are.
@harukisanaoia Says:
I agree with this video. Its hard to classify yourself as a non-resistant skeptic nowadays with our surroundings and the external influences that are imported on us. Bias is really hard to get rid of. Non resistant skeptics may speak more subjectively rather than objectively. If you truly want to believe in Christianity, make sure you have no resistance and that you are open-minded in all cases. The evidence for Christianity is very great. First the evidence for a God is more rational than any argument Ive heard. Stephen hawking had to make the concept of "imaginary time" and "quantum fluctuations" just to presuppose that things come out of nowhere. Logically its really easy to admit nothing comes out of nothing. With atheistic believes, its actually harder to reason and to make arguments for why we are conscious, what even is reality, where do our morals come from and etc. But with theism, things can make more sense and easier to grasp. The universe had a beginning, big bang,but who banged it? God. Why do we have morals that is embedded within us deeply? God. Compare two maps of a country, to know the correct answer you look to the country itself. We get our morals from God, speaking of objective morality. Fine tuning of rhe universe, argument of design and so on. So what is there is a God? Why can Christianity be the true religion? Secondly, with the existence of a God, you can go from there to filter out the other religions. While reading the bible, you can find out reliable historical truths. And there are no contradictions that greatly affects the main doctrine (the manuscripts were copied hand to hand, of course there would be minor mistakes but that accounts for only 2%. 98% of the bible is in par with the original intention and meaning of the original author's text). I could go deeper into this but that would mean comparing all religions and stating their flaws alltogether.

The irony in the comment section is reading all the atheist comments. It's always fascinating to see people who don't believe in God or Christianity spend so much time engaging with it. Logically I'm curious as to why atheists are so drawn to something they don't believe in. Since it doesn't exist in their viewpoint, why waste so much time watching these videos in the first place?
@cs77smith67 Says:
Wait 🛑 evidence of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, where? Let me see
@randyblackman6271 Says:
The evidence against the resurrection is weak? What a liar you are. I get it, this pays the bills and if you can find a fool, use the fools.

@6502Assembler Says:
This video isn't well thought out. It does seem like gaslighting and it would be good if the author would stop and ask himself some deep questions, Better yet, invite some non-believers on and just ask them, It's so simple really. I suspect he doesn't really want to know.
@jcrouse7461 Says:
As an agnostic I’m so tired of apologists telling me I’m not really non-resistant, refusing to accept that I exist. Truly, if God exists, I really want to believe in Him, I want to believe the truth! But until I can find a solid basis for that belief, I’m afraid I’m just going to have to watch more videos of Christians psychoanalyzing me.
@devb9912 Says:
Weird... you'd think an omniscient, omnipotent deity could do better than relying on weak apologists with weaker arguments. But what do I know; I only accept the Earth is a globe because of the convincing arguments, not faith.
@noneofyourbusiness7055 Says:
"Have you set the bar so high, that an omnipotent omniscient god can't convince you he exists?" Yeah no that poor god, totally can't be expected to do something so complicated that a pebble on my floor pulls off without breaking a sweat.
@Γαλανόλευκη_ΗΕΑ_ΗΘΣ Says:
Ok mind reader. So basically, you know there are no non resistant non believers. And its always their fault, never your god. Sure. Poisoning the well much? 👎
@timeshark8727 Says:
You have got to love it when someone pretends to know what is going on in other people's heads, its one of the fastest ways to determine that they're full of crap and can't make good arguments. Divine Hiddenness is one of those arguments against God that Christian apologists cannot face honestly, as demonstrated by this guy... who spends most of his time telling people that he knows what is going on in your head better than you do. On a side note, this sort of thing is what first made me realize that the bible was not inherent, you know "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse". Reading that I was struck by 2 things, first how can things that are invisible be clearly seen, and second I haven't seen any of these supposed attributes. That sort of thinking is what turned me away from faith... So keep doing what you're doing Cross Examined, keep making atheists with your arguments, the world will be better for it in the long run.
@elliejohnson2786 Says:
People who were never introduced to or learned about christianity cannot rationally believe in it. This fundamental reality proves Schellenberg's argument, and debunks whatever point you were trying to make.
@Angel-nl1hp Says:
I cannot underestimate evidence that simply is not there. There is to the best of my knowledge no convincing evidence for the existence of your god. The gospels are the claim, not the evidence for that claim. You require me to believe something that I have no evidence for, with the promise that this evidence will come to me later. I will not do that, because that is completely illogical behavior. If this alleged god wants to have a relation, maybe he should stop hiding first. You can keep (mis)quoting Romans 1 at me all you like, it won't make a difference as I don't believe the bible is the word of a god. And I know exactly what's in my mind, it's the only thing in the world that I can be 100% certain of.
@2ahdcat Says:
I looked for proof of Your GOD for 45 years. I looked. Didn't find. Him/Her/It.. (didn't find the Locke Ness Monster, Santa Claus or Sponge Bob either)
@hitman5782 Says:
I am an atheist and i am perfectly open believing that your god is more real than the countless other god claims worldwide and all it would take to convince me is a single rational argument. Do you have one? Can you please present what you would argue is the most convincing argument you have, that should convince an open mind?!
@snuffywuffykiss1522 Says:
I don't think you realize that you just spent 5 minutes showing why your god can not be real...Next time maybe actually read the source material you are using?
@EhvulAtheist Says:
What I expect from your imaginary friend, if he is real, as you claim and all that other jazz? To convince me, he should know how. But he doesn't, which means he doesn't care - ie not all loving - he can't - ie not omnipotent - or doesn't know how - ie not omniscient. Or he doesn't exist.
@jacobp8383 Says:
This was a complete joke, I hope you kept the recipt for that doctorate, because they owe you a refund. Try proofreading sometimes, unless you don't think its worth the effort.
@Locust13 Says:
At first I wondered why it didn't seem like you had actually read Shellenberg's book, you couldn't even pronounce the name of the author, as you went on it became increasingly obvious you've never even read the thing. Or if you have, you dishonestly ignored all of the parts that demolish your nonsense. Take for example, the non-reflective non-believer, the Buddhist in rural Japan or India that has never even heard of christianity. You didn't address that part of the argument at all.
@dertechl6628 Says:
Fortunately there is powerful evidence against Christianity: Jesus' unfulfilled prophecies.
@2l84me8 Says:
Your god as well as all other gods seem to function no differently from a being that never existed in the first place. If a god truly existed and was all powerful, he/she/it should know that people cannot choose their beliefs and that being convinced of a proposition is an involuntary action. This is a 100% failure on the behalf of the god for failing to deliver a message whose lack of belief will be met with eternal torture and hellfire. So not only does your god posses the qualities of nonexistence, but incompetence, and sadism as well.
@noneofyourbusiness7055 Says:
Cross examined? I get the impression these clowns haven't examined anything in their entire life, not even that cross stuff they profess to believe while they can't stop misrepresenting even _that..._
@skepticsinister Says:
Islam/Christianity/Judaism are an awful absurdity, completely fictitious useless garbage. God is created by humans in the image of knuckle-dragging human. God is fiction in every religion, culture, and language, every second of every day, 365. In summary, god is human bs.
@SnakeMan448 Says:
Why is it unreasonable to expect a supposedly loving god to be decent and show up? If a human who insisted that they're a great companion kept being neglectful and absent, then it's evident that they're not a great companion. But this is a deity we're talking about; doing what we ask would be no effort on its part, but you call that too much even though humans are seemingly doing all the work in this relationship.
@WhiteScorpio2 Says:
"Top 10 reasons why I don't have any evidence for God's existence and why it's the non-believer's fault".
@williambeckett6336 Says:
Notice the con these apologists always slip in? "If god is this" or "If god is that." IF. if, if, if, if, if, if, IF. Its basic con man/conspiracy theory logic inversion: "If X is true then Y and Z make total sense and follow!" They'll then epound on Y and Z with all the detail their swamp fever brais can muster. But they will never, ever complete the first and most critical step. Proving "X". Don't fall for it. They want to rush and talk past that basic step. Don't let them.
@darrylelam256 Says:
So because YOU are unconvincing in your arguments for a god because YOU can't provide evidence, that's somehow our fault?
@thewingedserpent5823 Says:
It's really funny how you accidentally argue for the position you're supposed to be arguing against
@Doolally888 Says:
I don't believe in christianity because it makes claims that it does not demonstrate. When those claims can be demonstrated, i will reconsider. Until then christians, stop using your words, and use your actions.
@nagranoth_ Says:
It's hilarious how this clown calls atheists irrational while knowing nothing about us, to only give a shitload of irrational waffling right after... Bobby... whether christianity is an issue to me has nothing to do with whether a god exists. Not liking the immorality of the christian god character has nothing to do with whether that character exists in reality. Your accusations are incoherent. And then telling people to ask a god they don't believe in to make them believe is insane. Did you have a stroke?
@pollypockets508 Says:
Just because Hera's presence isn't obvious doesn't mean her presence is non existent. Just because Lisa the Rainbow giraffes presence isn't obvious doesn't mean her presence is non existent Just because Thor's presence isn't obvious doesn't mean his presence is non existent. Feel me?
@DeconvertedMan Says:
You ask why don't I beleve in Christanity: because you have no evidence for it. (the parts you want me to beleve in, not the religion itself) what evidence of the resurrection?!!?!?!
@DeconvertedMan Says:
Time to respond to this video live I suppose...
@philb4462 Says:
Says non-believers have biases that keep them in their unbelief instead of discovering the truth of the Christian message. Could it not also be possible that Christians have biases that keep them believing in something that's false? It works both ways, you know.
@beauty.of.the.struggle Says:
I am so happy that Johnny Knoxville has opened his heart up to Christ!
@johnrichards6080 Says:
If bias, emotion, trauma etc are reasons for resistance then they must also be reasons for belief in an invisible god. It has to work both ways. That is, if what he says made sense, which of course it doesn't.
@autumnknight8710 Says:
Really enlightening video.
@MagpieOAO Says:
A better question to youtube atheists is; If Christ is the truth, will you follow him? Often you will see objective resistance not of an unbiased intellectual, but a clearly vitriolic hatred of God. Some like Hitchens went so far as to state he thought God may be true, but railed against God for His perceived crimes. Sophistry in which one both recognizes God but holds him to human standards and purely material worldview. I would follow Islam if it were the truth. I would follow Judaism if it were the truth. Jehovah witness, Humanism, Communism, you name it. But I have studied all of them and found them wanting. I am where he wants me to be.

@karlesmcquade2863 Says:
Conway isn't so much "unpacking" the divine hiddenness argument as telling you, as a mobster might, "don't worry about it."
@Gek1177 Says:
I don't believe in Christianity because it's tenants don't compare well to modern ethics and morality and because it's stories aren't accurate descriptions of reality. I don't believe because there is no objective reasons to believe and because magical explanations are never the real explanations.
