The Bible says Christians have to be Republican. Don’t believe me? “A wise man’s heart inclines him to the right, but a fool’s heart to the left.” ‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭10‬:‭2‬ ‭ Only joking 😊

Christ refused the religion of politics - aka false gods - Book - Christians as the Romans Saw Them - Robert L Wilken 1936 This book is about how Romans saw Christians within the first 300 years of Christ. It cites numerous known Roman writers of that time. Time & time again Romans discussed in great detail, & confusion, as to why & how Christians in no way would serve govts. They did not hold office, wave their flags, attend their ceremonies, seek positions, vote, hold govt jobs, run for office, assume any responsibilities at all for the duties of the city under govt, or go into any services like militaries. They didn't even recognize Roman law as the laws they should follow. They were known for their anti govt sedition. They were seen as "sectarian", because govt IS a public religion & Christians were the first to "privatize" religion. Christians subverted govt life & undermined the very foundations in which societies operated, by human false gods. Christians set up a single divine ruler which was now seen as a rival & threat to a human emperor, who could now fall, simply because people walked away from serving the religion of mortal rule. Christ could reign if people left the mortal rules of political religion & did not see the men in govt as their rule makers. Romans knew the political structure was a sacred religious structure of law makers, aka gods, which deserved absolute obedience. Shame on anyone calling themselves Christian who misses this obvious story all through the Bible. No where will you find Christ teaching people to get involved with the Empire. Matthew was called out of tax collecting. The centurion stated twice he was not worthy of Christ's help because he was a man of govt . Countless scripture points to this message. It's literally all over the book.

Christians cannot be politicians if they have to lie! And all politicians lie!
@DrewSmithTPA Says:
There isn't anything wrong with a theist voting or running for office or being elected. The problem is when the theistic voter or elected official bases their decisions and legislation on religious motivations than for secular reasons. It isn't the role of government to impose religious beliefs on anyone.
@JoseSalcedo-q7o Says:
Christians would be better politicians....
@JESUSCHRISTOVERbaal712 Says:
Amen I'm with you brother all the ways

Christians sure. Radical anything shouldn't be in charge of a toothbrush.
@jimmythehand1553 Says:
To be fair, Jews shouldn't be involved in politics outside of Israel.
@chatwithcatt Says:
Well said!!!
@merbst Says:
Only people who are capable of accepting/understanding secularism belong in American politics, because America is a secular nation. The Gospels are allowed in China, stop lying! Oh wait, I forgot apologists are incapable of honesty!
@jeffdavis7543 Says:
Frank, thank you for this admonation. Pray for me to be strong in the Lord and the power of His might. Eph 6:10
@robertmay7141 Says:
Well we're all supposed to vote so that would mean we're all supposed to be involved in politics Christian said absolutely vote and be involved in politics we've lost our country because we chose to hide and not be forceful we should have filed so many lawsuits in this country when they try to take God out of schools when they try to kick out of school and teach Evolution there's so many so many things we could have done and we should have done but now it's time to repent and then start doing them
@stevenbatke2475 Says:
Sorry, how many openly atheistic people run the country? Just curious.
@gur262 Says:
WTF are you talking about??? Really annoying. All us presidents say they are christian. So far you can't be successful as open atheist in us politics. It's disgusting to spin it around like that n play victim.
@8Platinum8 Says:
protecting your rights is exactly not what Jesus did. like the exact opposite. and if it came down to prayer the followers did it anyway cuz it. cant be taken away - 2Timothy 3:12Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,
@dalex60 Says:
The bible tells Christians they are no part of this world, shameless hypocrites!!!
@dalex60 Says:
Shameless hypocrite Christians already run the US!!!
@Sirach144 Says:
Politics are something that Christian should never get involved in. Politics are in this world in this world is passing away. We’re not gonna say that we’re not gonna change it. Everything is on course and plan for what God has planned. All you’re doing when you’re getting involved in politics is taking a bucket of water one at a time out of the titanic. It’s still going down. Daniel 2:44 says that God is going to do away with all these countries and nations in kingdoms and build up his own.
@GoofyAhOklahoma Says:
People always confuse separation of church and state with separation of religion and politics. It's quite irritating to be honest.
@brucecoleman5379 Says:
Oh boy.
@CptApplestrudl Says:
Saudiarabia is an authoritarian theocracy based on islam. Meaning they wennt all the way with the thought of having religious peeps in government to the point it dictates what everyone else is allowed to do. Forcing your religious views on everyone else is the problem, not your personal beliefs. Thats also the point of having seperation between church and state. So, as long as you dont base laws on your religion or your personal preferences, you are good to go.
@dt7767 Says:
Because Christians haven't been in politics they country has turned to crap and wickedness.
@brianlove8353 Says:
Politics is a waste of time ....
@josephcadwell6773 Says:
We can be involved, we are involved, we have always been involved. We will remain engaged in the process and occupy until He returns.
@thetruthnothingbutthetruth1 Says:
Christians would make ideal politicians, never stick to your principals. Changing or updating the bible & God's laws by either ignoring them or for example, wedding two men & handing them a marriage certificate.
@HaakonAnderson Says:
What is it with Christians and persecution fetishes?
@ThePerihelion Says:
Of course Christians can be involved in politics. They just can't make any laws based on Christianity. Just like a Muslim. They cannot propose or make any laws in American society that are based on Islam. Just like the pastafarianists cannot make spaghetti laws. When you start making other people who do not share your religion follow your proposed legislation which are clearly & evidently rooted in or from your religion, you should be immediately removed from office and the law made moot. You're completely free to practice your religion. No one is free to enact religion into legislation. I just wish more Christians understood that there are a great deal of people out there who, on purpose, want to be left alone and live a life with no religion. Which by the Constitution, they are completely free to do. In fact, it was a reason why people settled the American colonies to begin with. They wanted a life free from mandated religion. They wanted to be left alone. Please leave us alone.
@dantombs5697 Says:
Here is “Why can’t Christian get into politics?” And I’m a believer!!…. Because we are called to be ambassadors, and ambassadors do not run for office. That was given to us in the New Testament, but you can also ….. just take a look at Daniel 4:32 these are all great reasons not to get involved into politics

@Monkeyshines. Says:
Religion should never be in control of a government, we saw how that worked through history wihen the pope was controlling most of Europe.
@tarkus42 Says:
You can believe any religion you like in politics, just don't add it to your remit! Plus Iran is a wonderful example of how religion and politics are such good bedfellows! Roll on God's America under a tyrannical theocracy!
@rjcav1239 Says:
Saint Padre Pio campaigned against communism in Italy. He was responsible for them not gaining power during 2 elections

They can forbid the gospel and Christianity but they can't prevent us from following Jesus.
@JayK_RLE Says:
Ok strawman, who said this?
@Koz6336 Says:
Ok, then politics should be involved in Christianity. But something tells me you wouldn't like that very much.
@johnlynch-kv8mz Says:
Yes!!
@idlehour Says:
No. Because not everyone subscribes to a religion; one of many. One that is actually very recently created in relative terms. Logic trumps anyones Religion in politics. Otherwise you get a theocracy.
@Ronald1987100 Says:
Because christians their life and decisions is based on some fictional book.
@MarkJones-fw3mo Says:
Yes everyone should be involved in politics. But keep your religion out of government.
@tims8603 Says:
Who ever said anything like that. Anyone who is eligible to vote should vote. What they're not supposed to do is promote any candidates from the pulpit. They do it all the time now. If they keep it up, they should get their tax exemption withdrawn. That was the agreement that they're reneging on.
@Azrael.the.fourth.horseman Says:
Keep gods out of politics
@juliewright4771 Says:
Stop with Characterizing❤ Okay come on people we are.losing our freedom if we do not wake up!!..DAMN IT!!!!!

That's not the problem. The problem is that Christian's don't respect the separation of church and state.
@mohammadmukhtar1666 Says:
I mean the church and state are separate anyway right? So it'll just be a title being a Christian Politician right?
