According to the Word of God, its not just "ONE" person who is not welcome in the church. It's at least 6 people who are not welcome:
1 Corinthians 5:11-13
11 But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.
12 What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?

Frank Turek is usually very logical but he is really missing the point and common sense on this subject. If we couldn’t lose our salvation it wouldn’t be so important to make sure we don’t allow a little leaven to ruin the loaf. There wouldn’t be such a precaution if there wasn’t such a danger. The Bible does say nothing can snatch us out of His hand but we can still walk out of His hand. “Nothing” doesn’t include ourselves. I can’t snatch myself. The book of Hebrews written to Born Again saved Hebrew Christians warns those Hebrew Christian’s who were considering turning back to the law of Moses and Judaism to hang on and not leave Christ because the law can’t save them. This book would not have been written if it there was no threat of them losing their salvation.

We are justified and saved if we truly believe, but many will appear to be saved and won't be. Look at Ezekiel 18, the parable of the sower in Matthew 13, Matthew 24, Philippians 2:12, etc. So yes, we are saved when we believe, but only if we truly believe, but some people say this means we can "be saved" and then turn away from God and yet still be saved. That isn't true.

I believe orthodox theology presents a more accurate view of what salvation is and its process. There are three tenses of salvation by Orthodox Christian understanding: #1. Saved at the cross whereby it is not your doing; #2 being saved whereby one must daily do the will of God (it is a life process); and, #3 finally saved whereby one is judged and resurrected and forever with the Lord. Frank seems to be stuck at #1 - at what happens at the cross, here. You just believe and you're saved. God takes care of the rest. So Frank quotes scriptures to support the #1 ... But the danger is - Orthodox theology from the early Church Fathers stress after you accepted Jesus Christ, then you are on the road of sanctification. You receive the Holy Spirit and you are given the opportunity to maintain that relationship between you and the Holy Spirit by doing the commandments of Christ. Jesus stated, if you love me, keep my commandments. .. So according to Orthodox Christianity you can choose to turn away from Christ and don't believe in Him anymore, and live a life of deliberate sin(s). You have Bible verses that supports the #2 tense of salvation. And it looks like Frank seems to ignore them or explain them away to not mean final judgement. I think here on this important topic, he is deceiving himself and others.

Paul wrote letters to several churches, clearly telling them that they need to repent of their sins. It's made clear that people, in the church, were living in sin. He's calling the people, who make up the church, to repent. So it would be wrong to treat those in the church, like they are incapable of sinning.
Not to mention the harshest words that Jesus ever spoke were not to those struggling with sin, but to the ones who were the religious leaders of the day. When the church continues to allow people to sin, because those people are their "friends," And when the church punishes those who they don't deem "friends;" then is it possible that those who are kicked out of the church are not the unsaved ones? I think specifically of James 2:1-9 and verse 10. If you show partiality to the rich man, but say to the poor man, you sit at my feet, then you are already guilty of sin. Your salvation is not determined by your works but works are a side effect of your belief and your faith in the Lord. You naturally start to produce good works while wholeheartedly following Christ. You either satisfy your own hunger in life or you make that sacrifice and trust that the Lord has a greater purpose for the cake, so you refrain. In the end standing before Him you either have an empty plate or not. You will not be able to play word games or fool him by pointing at the crumbs and mushed pieces you left as if it was worth something.

Define what is sin? Morality is a thing Christian’s can easily define. They’ll tell you it is based on god, but upon scrutiny it breaks down super fast and they are left with unsatisfactory answers.
So if a Christian can’t define sin, how does that work with this? By this standard and Christian’s are sinners, they cannot be in th church.
