You talked about Peterson and Harris for about one minute out of twenty-five, and yet that's how you title your video? That's pretty click-bait-esque, man. Come on.
@KipIngram Says:
6:15 - EVERYTHING in life is about balance. Generally speaking, no extreme is a good place to be, and apparently this just isn't clear to most people today. The world is just far too complex to allow these simple-minded black and white views of things.

Tom awesome seeing you at Save the Republic! With great power comes great responsibility, I pray you don’t become a creep with all your wonderful ambitions 🖤
@jonathangilmore3193 Says:
I’m interested in Tom. I’m more interested in Eric. Why do hosts too often take up the space that should be given to their more talented guests?
@daniel.a2024 Says:
This was supposed to be an interview not yourself talking on camera
@johndicks6676 Says:
Tom, the making of films for the young can have so much depth of meaning and purpose that when watched again from the adult, has meaning and truth that was always there just not able to be appreciated while young. But this creation of storytelling will stay with the developing human because they are universal and timeless. I think they make the best stories

The utility of skills is in the process of discussion and discovery with my teenage daughter. This is so valuable of an insight, that the ability to be insightful, has become a skill that I have developed and continue to.
@BigDaddyForsyth Says:
WTH is wrong with Tom? Why have a guest on if your not going to listen to him...
@AnimalLover-dw2wu Says:
Tom, you're dumb.
@brettwilliams8971 Says:

Everyone is the comments agrees Tom your talking is annoying. This sounds like a really great conversation and I really want to hear what Eric has to say and you have to keep inserting yourself with dumb "edgy" remarks.
@GeoffreyHale Says:
This clip is completely mistitled
@TheHi-NoteFunClub-BeatsByMike Says:
Music has elements of math - but it is not simply math - and those elements are mainly used for the system of notation for musical ideas... The sequence of thought, the through/connecting line of the conversation is: Math and music are real-->Math is the base/purest language of reality-->Music is the base/purest language of emotion. In other words, that body connection the guy in red was misunderstanding by focusing on music as math. In general, with music, major sounding tones/chords sound "happy", minor sound "sad"... All the nuanced emotional stuff in between (all the degrees and flavors of the basic happy/sad dichotomy as specific human experience and the passage of time is specified - some sad situations shaded with more "anger", or happy situations shaded as "hopeful" or "triumphant", etc, etc...) is based on how the various tones/chords are arranged, both in their sequence, and the amount of time progressing (time in the sense of how much space each individual tonal expression is allotted as universal time/the tick of the clock we humans feel and recognize also passes - that passage of a musical expression not necessairly of the same tempo as a ticking 24 hour clock - that is to say, the rhythm of the song). That interplay creates all the flavor of feeling found in changing/developing human emotional states via musical expression. As far as I can tell, any and all general philisophical insights into music as a "system" flow from there.

Ignorance only keeps you in the darkness of your truth , where truth enlightens you from your ignorance, which is not bliss , so when you say ignorance is bliss, it is like saying the state of mind called separation is hell and is your bliss because of you choosing to not know the truth out of Ignorance

"The Universe divided As the Heart and Mind collided With the people left unguided For so many troubled years In a cloud of doubts and fears Their world was torn asunder into hollow hemispheres Some fought themselves, some fought each other Most just followed one another Lost and aimless like their brothers For their hearts were so unclear And the truth could not appear Their spirits were divided into blinded hemispheres" - Rush, Hemispheres...

War and conflict is rising because the previous generations that went through war and conflict have died.

Being in awe of intellect in one moment, then whiplashed into judging Tom's inability to say the word 'ornithology' repeatedly was a strange experience. He called it "orinthology", like he's only just discovered the term and has undiagnosed dyslexia. 4:47
@jimmyb267 Says:
Are we being lead to believe that he thinks he is on the same level as Eric?
@andrewhatez7955 Says:
"Why I create content," obviously you like to talk, Tom. As with others, I am spending my time listening today because I wish to hear Eric...as with others herein, I would appreciate more Eric and less--much less of you. "F Bombs" are out of place in a serious discourse with an intellect of Eric Weinstein's caliber...please refrain and, let your guest talk more.
@OziBlokeTimG Says:
Eric is really smart, or he just sounds convincing. I give him the benefit of the doubt.... I think we could be friends.
@nightfury6836 Says:
This was an awesome video. Great synergy between these two humble and brilliant men. I don't mind the F bombs, personally. 😎🔥
@AncientRylanor69 Says:

@anitakephart3851 Says:
But I have tried to listen to this man before and I'm already tired of him. He drops the f bombs like it's nothing he can't describe anything and he wants everything to go his way and doesn't even give attention to anything Eric is saying. I would be embarrassed if I dropped the f word with such an intellectual mind as is Eric Sorry Eric, I must move on. Please find another interviewer. Perhaps someone more mature.
@mpe2294 Says:
These people sound crazy. Just live your damn life. There's no secrets.... just go live, omg.
@izzyzaidman1354 Says:
I have no place correcting Eric on math but… Those aren’t the notes for Pretty Woman
@michaelchamberlain8851 Says:
Sam Harris has his PhD... Let's get that fact correct!
@leavingsoonduetocensorship3453 Says:
Why does this guy not work for the C.I.A? He's got the moral subjectivity thing down pat...I would never trust that guy he is shady asf.
@jessewest2109 Says:
Eric does okaaaay with harmonic over tones and western temp. But oh my god eric. Explain the major and minor using diads. And ditch the mug. I should do a video on this
@Mr.Jam222 Says:
20:02 “How is this going to help me get laid” yikes
@DR-br5gb Says:
Tom, you're gay
@ZeusApolloHermes963 Says:
Neo in the matrix film represents Christ. "You know, he goes into this uh Australian SNM club.lol"... What I do know is Eric's favourite numbers are 10 and 14... They are my date of birth, October 14. He discussed this with Lex Fridman a few years ago, Tom.
@tjontario Says:
bruh when EW is on your podcast you gotta just let him do the talking
@donaldogrady2042 Says:
i'm tryna tell you there's no reason this guy should have a podcast
@stevewaterhouse3025 Says:
war and conflict is not rising, it is just over covered by click bait media
@Khepel Says:
This would've been much better a video without Dexter Morgan's sister trying to be cool and hip here!
@opaca512 Says:
Brilliant brothers back to back…🧐🔥
@clacclackerson3678 Says:
Ornithology.
@alexandredung Says:
Eric is a genius. The music explanaion is not even a Hard one, but at least Tom is honest tô recognize its limits. Wonderfull talk!!😊
@gsk182 Says:
It must be a real bummer to have to learn how to play the guitar in order to get laid. It took me years to appreciate being the kind of man who scared the panties right off of a woman. I used to hate the fact that even women who were not attracted to me couldn't look at me without thinking "oh my god, what's he going to do to me?" as their panties become soaking wet. Btw, math and physics were the easiest subjects for me. Maybe that's why I have never suffered from the problem of not knowing what the meaning of life is. It always seemed to obvious and simple that I could not figure out why so many people are so confused about it.
@Hexecutable Says:
Sam exposed himself as anything but rational with his derangement around Trump. Lmfao.
@tobycokes1 Says:
Michael more haha😊
@livondiramerian6999 Says:
When wealth and poverty become at extreme conflicts, violence, and wars rise.
@jimluebke3869 Says:
Eric, get back to applying that physics theory of yours. You're wasting your time with twits like this.
@jimluebke3869 Says:
"I've just about given up on adults" Try approaching it as "will this help me have kids" instead of "will this get me laid". Also, drop the destruction thing; it's distracting you from creation.
@robertmoore4001 Says:
You lost me at Sam Harris and Jordan Peterson are both extraordinary minds 👎
@jpslaym0936 Says:
This interview told me more about Eric than any other. He has a very useful perspective that many of use can learn from
@htp1234 Says:
Another Godless self reliant ego-maniac thinking he has all the answers to the worlds problems. That's exactly what the world doesn't need. Peel back the layers with Tom and it's all just one big self serving mission, I will say though, he is quite gifted when it comes to appealing to the secular world.
