The 3 Things Rich People DO That The 99% DON'T DO! | Tom Bilyeu

????

As you know, it's my mission to help teach you how to build the MINDSET and SKILLS that will help you live an extraordinary life - and over the last few months I've been working hard behind the scenes to help create a brand-new tool that will help you do that. It's called Kyzen - and I am proud to announce that I will be bringing it to the world later this year to challenge you to empower yourself and accomplish greater things in life. To learn more, join my Discord at http://impacttheory.com/discord Big goals require DISCIPLINE. By it's very nature, discipline requires you to do hard things - and that is a skill you can LEARN. I'm teaching my process to build Ironclad Discipline in a new workshop - you can register at discipline.impacttheory.com! On Today's Episode: Why is being rich something so many people want, but so few achieve. Does being successful guarantee becoming rich? Obviously that requires you to define what success is for you and your journey. The funny twist in all of this is that being rich is so easily fantasized and yet the work it takes to become rich and successful is barely thought of. Jim Rohn said, 'Successful people do what unsuccessful people are not willing to do.' As hard as that is to accept as truth, it is evident when you look at elite athletes, world-class performers, and the best of the best in any field. When you watch this, understand that Tom's drive is always fulfillment, meaning, and purpose. The work it takes to achieve his level of success is not easy nor is it for the faint of heart. It's not impossible, and it's not the only path forward, but it has proven to be majorly successful over and over again. The path to becoming rich and successful is going to require you to dig deep and it requires skills, grit, and determination for you to tap into a level of potential you never knew was possible. What if your not willing to put in the work? Do you just start playing the victim olympics? Seriously though, being honest with your self and owning your commitment level is healthy. Go for things you are willing to work for at the current time in your life. Reassess from time to time to decide what you want your habits/actions to be and associated goals.

Here I am watching your videos of you in conversation with others, however, the settings remind me of places where I had been. Therefore, it's like I am there as well, as another friend in your group just listening in and all hanging out together.

This guy wants to be the male version of Oprah. He sure can regurgitate stuff already known, he has nothing new to share. Not hating just stating facts.

Great message, thank you. Many of my favorite quotes, “man in the arena” being my number one. I’ve sent this link to all three of my millennial kids, there’s a message for the older and younger crowd. I even have a plaque on my wall that states “you can’t cross the ocean by standing there staring at the water.” Finding your “why” is critical. I’m also a big fan of Simon Sinek. Cheers, Dave

I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks (with the help of my Financial Advisor of course) and made about 246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million.

Tom seriously this is a phenomenal piece. It moved me. Thank You for being such an inspiration to me. Because of you and a few others in my mind; we were able to build a brand over the last 500 days that turned our obstacles into opportunities. We saved 9000 lives through our blood drives. We collected over 3000 pounds of food through our food drives. We held a surf contest in Aug of 2020 when the wsl was not holding any contests and became the oldest contest in the world. We grew our brand by double digits over the last 8 quarters….. And I know it was because of Mindset Skillset and raising our standards. Thank You so much for helping me grow into the person I’ve always wanted to be. Thank You for this wonderful piece of work! Most Sincerely D.

Tom, i went to an ok school. Got a degree. Was midlevel for grades but tried very hard to do good. Others just laid back and ace'd everything. Ran into a classmate who was much smarter and partied a lot. He makes double my salary. This is 17 years since school. But hates his life and does not like his job. He works double the hours too. I didn't explain any of these differences with him. You decide what you want to do and make sure it makes you satisfied. If not, go do something else. I love my job and i'm super relaxed in general. Some brief moments of stress but that can be mitigated with education and experience of the job. If your boss is evil and just stomps you out. Get out. DO not put up with it. So many jobs will never be re-staffed because of evil empires.

If you are a business owner and can't keep employees this is the key. Listen up

If your not given the tools, it just takes longer to get to where you want to go. Parents can slow or accelerate it. Thanks Tom for putting this talk on. You are my inspiration now to do what ever I want. I have chills because I've tried and want to try harder doing things. I was told the same thing you were told. AMEN You don't just have success stories on your channel. They are merely suggestions. Take what you want or dont take anything. They are all laid back. You can not ram rod and force people to be energized. It does not work that way. Poke the bear. Think about that one. He is trying to sleep and remain calm.

I can totally agree with all of what u have said. I just came out of a one or two century going depression this year. Just last week i had my final brake though by gathering my main goal for life, recognize what i have to do for it and commit to it. I have never been that happy by "just" taking responsibility.

The first step to successful investing is figuring out your goals and risk tolerance - either on your own or with the help of a Financial Advisor. If you can get the facts about savings and investing with a well detailed plan, you should be able to gain financial security over the years and enjoy the benefits of managing your income.

Tom should really do an interview with Thais Gibson from the Personal Development School. Her whole concept of integrated attachment theory is based on mindset, the subconscious mind and neuroplasticity. She explains how our thoughts and beliefs about the world and ourselves impact our emotions, behaviours, fears, desires, boundaries etc etc. And she is really big on re-programming the subconscious mind in order to change ourself and achieve what we desire. Her work has really been life changing for me

I loved the way you really strived to simplify how the law of vibration and epigenetics affect our lives. Its like to simplify this reality enough is our hope to have everyone be able to understand. This stuff works, its real, its the grand design. Also how you humble yourself to reach the broadest possible audience. You really are changing the world man! Thank you!
@cindypope4238 Says:
Follow God's direction in His Holy Word for the most meaningful, joyful and prosperous life. Money in itself does not bring joy. You cannot serve God and money. The love of money, not money itself, is the root of all evil. Beware of deception by chasing idols. It will never satisfy and you will spend eternity in hell because you rejected God. Humble yourself and worship the Savior, Jesus Christ, who died for your sins. He loves you and Satan hates you. Beware.

@jonnyclean4155 Says:
Hearing you describe yourself as a “patchwork” of these tools and techniques resonates and was very impactful. I would have guessed that after using the techniques for some time you might rely on them less directly. It’s really helpful to hear that this is very much an active, on-going thing. I have had success using interrupts to cancel negative thoughts but I was under the impression that the negative thoughts should subside and I assumed I was doing it wrong because they would return. Now what I’m gathering is that you can get really good at identifying and squashing negative thoughts quickly but I shouldn’t expect to (and feel bad if I’m not able to) permanently extinguish them. I can consider dispatching them quickly and reducing their frequency to be a solid win. That seems a lot more achievable. 💪
