I asked the same questions then l realised that miracles alone won't cause people to believe in Jesus. So God has chose a silent path based on faith 🙏
@nicholasemond1388 Says:
Of course, god doesn’t show himself on an non ambiguous way because we just don’t want to believe so why even try, it’s not like he is a being that can do anything, it makes total sense. Also just because something or someone exists who has a large amount of power it does not follow that they should be listened to necessarily.
@ACTSVERSE Says:
Shenvi is a Calvinist not a Christian so hard pass. He exemplifies that religion's belief that his god HAD to create in order to show his wrath and therefore created a caste of non-elect reprobates predestined to damnation in an alleged eternal and unconditional decree of a god. This is a deity not found in Scripture. The God of the Bible is truly love. He created as a gift, not as a necessity. He hates no one unconditionally and did not limit his Son's salvific reach to some lucky frozen chosen called "elect".
@believer1258 Says:
Even simpler the bible teaches that if God was to reveal Himself in His full Glory our fallen state bodies will die. There needs to be a change made to the current bodies we possess in order to be in the same vicinity with God in all His Glory. By the way, only believers can understand the spiritual truths taught in scripture because it requires the illuminating ministry of the Holy Spirit who indwells the believer. To those who are perishing it’s foolishness, their eyes are blind.
@olivieryeung398 Says:
Would it be possible that the disciples stole the body after Josephus buried Jesus in the tomb, then they changed the linen to fit the narrative?

🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎 Spider Woman appears in stories throughout the Southwest, often as a powerful teacher and helper. In some Southwestern cultures, Spider Woman taught people to spin thread and weave cloth, thus sharing with humans the spider's ability to make webs. The Hopis speak of a Spider Grandmother who, conscientiously weaving her webs, thought the world itself into existence. In the Navajo creation story, people travel up through four lower worlds, creating chaos and disorder until they are banished from each in turn. At one level, they are threatened by a devastating flood but Spider Woman rescues them by weaving a web to create solid ground before the water sweeps over them. Navajo spider woman legends were told by the Holy people. Navajo spider woman was said to first weave the universe and taught Navajo (Dine) for spreading the "Beauty Way" and creating beauty in their own life, teaching of balance within the body, mind and soul. Elders' creation of stories, they were told about having 4 worlds… 🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎 Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south. Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee? Can you send out lightnings, that they may go, And say to you, ‘Here we are!’? Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? Who hath given understanding to the heart? Who can number the clouds in wisdom? Who can stay the bottles of heaven? And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. @RangerRyke Says:
The problem is definitely a lack of evidence.
@ErikPehrsson Says:
That was an excellent response!
@stormy7709 Says:
you can apply this to anything. people don't believe in flat earth/allah/essential oils/thor not because of lack of evidence, but because they don't want to change their sinful lifestyle.
@unknownvitster Says:
What would be the purpose of faith if we "knew?" What would be the purpose of choice if God forced his love and our obedience on him? Dr. Shenvi is correct. What people don't like are the rules God set up for salvation.

Lack of evidence is just the opinion of the skeptic nothing solid to take seriously
@The-Wretched-Spawn Says:
Very well said.
@J_Tapio Says:
So blame the unbelievers and don't present the supposed evidence you were talking about? That doesn't solve the problem of divine hiddenness, this is basically just an attempt at emotional manipulation by shifting the focus to the personal motives one may have instead of focusing on the evidence or the lack of evidence itself and letting that be the deciding line between fantasy and fact.
@Birdlab Says:
It is an evidence problem.
@jeffphelps1355 Says:
Jesus has 100000000 % more credibility then Sam Harris and Hitchens who make a living off of mocking people who have a different world view then them
@philb4462 Says:
This is sad excuse for there being a remarkable lack of evidence. I mean, really. What there beyond God of the gaps? "Here is a thing and I think the best explanation of it is a god, even though I can't prove one exists." That's really what almost all apologetics boils down to. It's ridiculous. The reason I don't believe is lack of evidence. God could provide some evidence and he doesn't. The idea that we would have the wrong type of relationship with him is idiotic. Christians believe God is there and change their lives because they think their God wants them to. If God demonstrated himself to others, exactly the same thing could happen. My loathing for the character described in the Bible wouldn't be any more or less as a result of demonstrating he exists. I believe Frank Turek exists. If he wasn't real but there were descriptions about him that match the real one, my opinion of his character wouldn't change one bit. Who is this guy to tell anybody he knows the motivation for why I don't believe? It is lack of evidence whether he and Frank like it or not. It isn't because I don't want there to be one like the one described in the Bible. As it happens, I don't want there to be, but that isn't why I don't believe. That is a separate issue. It is down to evidence. Lack of evidence and a reprehensible character are two views that can a person can hold at the same time.
@InfoArtistJKatTheGoodInfoCafe Says:
God doesn't make us do anything. What He does do is enforce the consequences good and bad.
@InfoArtistJKatTheGoodInfoCafe Says:
God loves us so much, He's not going to force us to love Him. That wouldn't be love.
@RVALMAT Says:
I don't know if what Dr. Shenvi says is true regarding the subject of evidence. He says there is enough evidence of the existance of God. Nevertheless, many unbelievers and agnostics say they can't believe precisely because of the lack of evidence. I'm not sure that unbelievers and agnostics want to be their own saviors; I think that's merely a speculation by Dr. Shenvi. I'd rather say that they reject the God of the Bible because they don't want their sins to be confronted.
@joshuakohlmann9731 Says:
An admirable evasion. That boiled down to: "logic says this, but the Bible says this, so let's sidestep the logical problem altogether".
@cisuminocisumino3250 Says:
Romans 1:20: "For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse."

Well thought out. We can sin easier then we can do what the commandments tell us. Why is that?
@georgelancaster6701 Says:

@markh1011 Says:
*There are problems with this.* You're accusing people of not wanting there to be a god because they want to be our own "lords and saviors". I'm not really sure what that means exactly but it doesn't seem to make sense. I shouldn't need to explain the benefits of there being an all powerful god looking down on us. It's the reason we have Pascal's wager. Eternal paradise and guarantee of justice are pretty good reasons to want a god. Then you say that we would recoil from the type of god would would appear and say "here I am do what I say". This also doesn't make sense. If a god appeared to try and make contact with us then that would bring people to him, not recoil. If you're referring to the "do what I say" part then we already have that. We are told if we don't do what he says then we will be tortured for eternity (or annihilation from modern revisionists). Then you switch to him changing our minds. This also doesn't make sense. In the scenario he didn't force a change. He made himself known. How is this different to the stories of Jesus?! Perhaps there is more to explain behind his comments here but it wasn't a very good response in this short video.

I could never loathe God. I have no regrets for anything that I do differently because I follow God's will. I live perfectly in joy for the knowledge that whatever I do, right or wrong, I will always be loved. God's will isn't hard to follow. The more I learn about Him, the more I feel joy trying to follow Him closer. I have always wanted someone who loved me unconditionally, and would help me through trials, and to be my Savior. Well, I found Him! ☝️☝️☝️

He appeared once and He was rejected and killed, so what else do people want? They want nothing to do with His laws and commandments.

All of humanity stands in front the curtain with crossed arms and demands that God himself pull back the veil and show us Himself; And when He did, we all saw Jesus and said ..."that's it?"... Humanity seems so quick to presume what God should be like, but doesn't see the person that God is. God is a person, He has His own personality, likes and dislikes, feelings and emotions, He is not just an individual He is THE individual. He's the individual who gave all of us our individuality. "For in Him and through Him, we live and breath and have our being." But we completely ignore who God is and quickly get to work at slapping all of our preconceived ideas of what God SHOULD be like all over Him and demand He fits into our little caricature of Him.
@billyd5917 Says:
Read (Jeremiah 31:31-34 and Hebrew 8:7-13) you'll never see these scriptures preached in a church that I know of sadly. It talks about after the days of Jesus no longer will you tell your neighbors to know the Lord for I will be written on their hearts, but reading these scriptures you may understand what Jesus was saying when he said go in sin no more, it's because he will no longer sees the sin in you, but this is the problem when man teaches that all sin is equal and you must be sinnles, everyone of us will die in some kind of sin, but if we have true Love we will never committee the sins that lead to death, Man will try to take away what Jesus has already done for you let no man but you back into bondage, we are not a slave but free through Christ and by loving others we show we Love God and fulfil the law. Remember don't be discourage once your in Jesus nothing in all creation can separate you.  What are the characteristic of the devil? One thing is there is no Love but hate in him, he loves a haughty eye, he loves everything that is evil, he is the father of lies, and make it clear that not all lies are the same and I can prove that if anyone questions that they are the same, not all sins lead to death (1John 5:17) anyone that teaches you must be actually be sinnles literally to enter heaven would make this scripture untrue and defeat what Jesus did in the first place.

@SK-bw2cv Says:
00:40 it's a sin issue. Not an evidence issue. Biblical proof? Look at the book of Revelation when all those judgements come down and it is obvious that God is judging mankind. The Bible says people will still not repent of their sins. Also pharaoh. God did all kinds of signs to show pharaoh he is God and Pharaoh still refused to listen. Some people say if they could see God they would believe but in Revelation Christ will rule on earth. All will see him and they will still fight against him.
