According to Tesla, Tesla cars are developed with the highest standards of safety in every aspect, including security. Now I'm not saying I didn't believe them, but I did want to find out for myself, so I did a little digging, and when I tell you that it's impossible to steal a Tesla, you better believe me because I'm about to tell you why. But it likely won’t get that far, since the passcode we use would take forever to guess, even if they had our phones or other devices.
And even if they eventually managed to get in, Tesla can help track and locate the vehicle anywhere, without the thieves knowing.
So yeah — Teslas, especially the newer models, are the hardest vehicles for criminals to steal.

Anytime before i get off my car turn off my Bluetooth. Just in case someone is trying to relay the signal from my phone. I have got pin to drive and glove box so, even if they get in, they can't start it.

Pin to drive and sentry mode are my go to features before I exit my car…..and I immediately lock the doors with the fob in any unfamiliar location (road trips, mall, charging station, etc)

You realize that Annabelle's car was, in fact, stolen. She merely had the means to assist the police in recovering her car. There is nothing she could have done after the thieves had her car to prevent them from damaging or destroying her car. They are other safeguards available thru Tesla that would have prevented the thieves from being able to access and drive her car in the first place.

Yes, you can hack a Tesla ... but your standard car thief is NOT a hacker, so the odds of a Tesla being stolen are still low ... I also appreciate that the handles are retracted, making car-jacking while I'm in my vehicle far less likely
