The Passion translation is not a bad translation but it is not for everyone. It is like giving a child breast milk as opposed to giving him solid food. You can't say one is better than the other. Besides the Greek/ Hebrew language can be very nuanced. So actually no translation can be called accurate..

Did you know that the King James was translated by 70 different scholars and even they wrote a letter some of what they translated might be wrong that letter comes with the original King James besides that Jesus said anyone coming with any other gospel besides mine is a false prophet. Well certainly having a vision of Jesus telling you to translate the Bible is different, but how does it invalidate the translation? It seems to me that this would only be an issue if you're a cessationist, and Melissa claims that she's not. Wouldn't you expect everyone who participates in a translation to say that they believe that's what God wants them to do? What would be odd is if they said otherwise.
