Because we are wired for negative bias for our survival. Just as snakes and other things in nature have a certain look to them. What I believe is the best course of action is not even looking at all of that but creating or developing one's self and the green flags you have then you know what your green flags are by default. When your desired green flags are paired together you generally won't have to worry about red ones.

If you only look for good signs, all signs look good. It's the pessimist vs optimist. Being realistic is we all have flaws

When I was younger, I ignored red flags that I should not have because I thought things would get better. You need to listen to your red flags because it can save your life. I didn't see this podcast, so I'm not sure what he's referring to.

Ughhhhhh you will be miserable doing this BS ...I get into new relationships I'm not hung up on what you did in the past and give you a totally. Clean slate..I can't stand negative people like this ..if she does xyz that means she will cheat..its like they are waiting for the bullshit to happen
@Dorm777number01 Says:
In the past if I was unsure on a relationship, me feeling like I was better or they were too good for me. I’d look for reasons to leave or why they would/could cheat. I’ve leaned now I’m better alone. And so are other people I maybe interested in. No one deserves to have lots of ups and downs in a relationship. Stay healthy folks.

I hope that by understanding the red flags I missed in my last relationship that I’ll see them if and when I dare to date again.

That is totally me right now. Behind every gift or showing of love, feelings i try to find something. Are they doing that because they truly feel something from me? Or do they want the same thing from me? Etc.
