LUKE 19.37 .... the whole multitude of disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty WORKS / MIRACLES that they had SEEN.
MARK 16.20 ... and they went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, confirming the word with signs ( WORKS / MIRACLES ) following.
DANIEL 11: 32 ..... but the people that do know their God shall be strong and do EXPLOITS.
As a True Believer , I'm sure you have many testimonies, ( WORKS, MIRACLES, SIGNS, WONDERS, EXPLOITS ) that you have performed or seen performed by your fellow believers. Jesus must be very proud of you.
Please tell of your raising the Dead, Healing The Sick, opening blind eyes and deaf ears. Etc etc
Without doing the WORKS of Jesus, you're nothing more than a flag-waving phony.
Or maybe, just maybe...your BOOK and your Jesus are not real.

Thank you, thank you!!! I’ve often thought the same thing… Everyone striving to be “unique“ and “different“ just means that being “unique“ and “different“ becomes the new normal, which is no longer unique or different.
It reminds me of a South Park episode I saw long ago, when I still used to watch South Park: The goth kids prided themselves in being nonconformists, until being goth became popular. Then, they didn’t like being goth anymore and instead tried to be “normal“ to be different.
Everyone these days is trying to out-unique everyone else, and the bar keeps getting raised to new extremes. Uniqueness is now defined by superficial things rather than someone’s God-given, individual personality and natural quirks.

Yes, I would say people, both young and old, want to be "Special", in order to earn the world's attention. Once we come to God, through Christ's sacrifice, as God's children, that need for attention fades away. Praise God, this has happened & is happening to me.
