Awesome setup. Efficient and feels somewhat nostalgic. Thankyou for your many years of sharing your knowledge and time, which is what youtube was orginally meant for.

I totally get the comment about screen size, I bought a 42 inch monitor for doing CAD (Rhino, Sketchup, AutoCad) and I am fine until I start using it for anything else. One hour of surfing and I feel light headed / drunk.
@bartonlynch Says:
Congrats on your milestone! You produce the most professionally educational videos. Love your setup.
@Kenzo9063 Says:
Since you do tons of media/video work would you have thought of a Mac setup anytime soon?
@Kenzo9063 Says:
It's so refreshing to see this vid. Even with the stuff you have shown it is clear you still can create great content even with a simple setup and computer setup. It's also a depiction of sentimental value too :)

You made videos about cutting edge technology with some classic equipment, beautiful way to remind us from where we came to where we are now, I really hope we can see you for long time making videos. Best of wishes for you.

Great congratulations! I knew little of the technical side of computers. But your channel has educated me in so many ways. I find your videos straightforward, educational and even enjoyable. And your emphasis on lower cost computing is extremely appreciated. I am truly pleased that you have reached the recognition that I feel you richly deserve. ☮

I'm seeing a lot of keyboards. Pity software KVM has fallen into such disrepair as of late (mostly in support of Linux machines running Wayland). Let me say here how much I like the work you are doing here. I'm joining today. Thanks for all your efforts!

Hi Cristopher that was a great video and amazing setup you have made over the years congratulations on th1m subscibers mark i think the 1st video of yours i watched would have been at the beginning of covid , after seing that video re Raspberry Pi 4 ice Tower that i watched on a Pi 4 at the time i realised your professional presentation was excellent so ive watched the channel always from that time , i know ill always get good clear instructions on any computer topic your explaining i have some old computers like you have shown in the past like the Asus Eeepc 900mhz Celeron running 32b Bit old version LinuxMint ,a Panasonic Toughbook core 2 Dou running Twister UI over Xubuntu , a Toshiba A10 Satelite Laptop from 2004 Running XP for now - im wondering if you have ever heard of a OS System called Kolibri OS it is written in Assembly Language it will boot faster than any system ive seen as soon as the normal bios prompt is shown like on most PC's the UI will apear right away ready to use it comes with 30 retro games 1 being Doom also other software like spreadsheets graphics editing Photo editing many other things included , It looks a bit like Linux but its not It makes any version of Linux Look Very Very slow the closest i have seen over the years is Puppy Linux i think that Assembly Language is a bit like the old Symbian Language very light weight . i have an old 2004 Model Ngage phone from Nokia that phone had big name games madefor it They were scaled down playstation 2 Type games like Lara Croft & Indiana Jones i found some symbian games online to download and put on a old style SD card to put in the phone & use , those Games where only around 150kb each . anyway if you where ever to look at Kolibri-OS & get to try it i would love to se how you would install it thats the hard thing with it when it is extracted from the ISO file there is no easy way from the videos i have seen Your the only guy that could do it Justice A good lesson on how to install it on a hard drive wouid be great - Thank you From Chris at Mount Dandenong Victoria Australia - well Done with your Channel 😉👍

Hi Chris, congratulations! I've been a follower of yours for over 10 years now and I admire your consistency and work ethic. In 2014 I made a video, inspired by yours, on how to upgrade the CPU of a Dell laptop. As a fellow content creator, I am curious how you are able to use editing software like Davinci Resolve on a 1280x1024 display. Recently I upgraded from a 24" 1080p to a 27" 1440p display as I found even the real estate of a 1080p display limiting my efficiency when editing videos in Resolve.

I love these behind-the-scenes videos. Not many content makers do this, so it's nice to get a peek behind the curtain. I think for fun you should do a tour of your shelves above the desk. Looks like some fascinating reads :). Keep up the great content!!

Chris, sorry but you are going to have to help me in setting up telegram! I do not use social media so I don't understand how to download and set this up. Sorry but I really need your help!
@user-xo4ft6xf5i Says:
Chris, I'm really impressed with your studio! I wish I were as savvy as you! I wouldn't know how to use any of the equipment you have. But I know you make fantastic, interesting and informative videos. You certainly deserve the gold start button award from Youtube!
@user-xo4ft6xf5i Says:
Hey Chris! Love your videos! I'm a subscriber who watches your videos all the time...very informative! I have a problem I know you can help me with. I have two identical HP minis and I want to exchange files between them. I set up Warpinator on each with identical parameters. I fist set the Group Code the same alphanumeric name on each system. I set Network interface on each to use my Wireless card. I made sure the ports are the same and the Firewall rules are in place for both systems. I have rebooted the systems several times but still cannot get Warpinator to recognize my two computers. What, if anything, am I doing wrong? This is starting to drive me insane! Thanks Chris...
