I heard "vair" (which I honestly didn't realize was actually a word until just a moment ago) and maybe even "there" (depending on which part of the mouth I was focusing on) instead of "fair" As for the ball one, my brain never saw it as them "bouncing off each other" even with the sound effect. No matter the background, audio, or lack thereof, my eyes interpreted it as the balls passing through each other 😅 ETA: Thinking about it, I'm guessing me hearing "vair" was my brain's way of compromising the audio input ("bear") and the visual input ("fair") as the /v/ sound is similar to both the /f/ and /b/ sounds.

I closed my eyes and just listened. I heard the narrator alternating between "bear" and "there". This was true for all the different presentations of the sounds within the one video.
