@KazyReed Says:
George was my hero. He was one of the most brilliant people ever!
@SuperSaiyanGuyver Says:
When he died we had just recently put a swear jar at my work. Only time I ever voluntarily put change into it was when I heard the news and belted out the 7 words.
@robertsmith5744 Says:
Use Google Maps, George Carlin Way, Morningside Heights, New York, NY.
@anthonymichaelwilson8401 Says:
Great guy 😊
@DesertScorpionKSA Says:
So, you can't say the seven dirty words on YouTube that George Carlin said on his album. It seems we have gone backwards socially. Is there no free speech on YouTube?
@bogbupog Says:
My favorite comedian, used to listen to his albums a lot in highschool
@brycelandon6387 Says:
As a kid, I liked George Carlin in his role as Mr. Conductor. But when I grew up and found out what he was really like, I lost all respect for him.
@mistaidgaf9166 Says:
The only one yt comedian who was funny to minorities until Gary Owen came
@MMerlyn91 Says:
I think he was massively overrated, very edgy and extremely dumb while, admittedly, having the talent to sound smart to people dumber than him.
@jamshaidmushtaq1811 Says:
"What are you, fuckin' stupid?" is his greatest quote. Period.
@d0nttread0nme71 Says:
A Lenny Bruce bio would be awesome!
@briandoss9232 Says:
Ah yes. The 7 dirty words.
@burkestaes8771 Says:
Extremely good bios. Would like to see more of the subject even as you voiceover.... And more actual examples if possible....
@mrmagoo8956 Says:
George Carlin was a modern philosopher with a tremendous sense of humor. Norm Macdonald would point out how that’s insulting to actual modern philosophers. Two of the best and nobody like em
@ehrldawg Says:
Carlin stole his crashing airplane bit from Mike Warnke.
@kbtiger1279 Says:
We need this man back now more than ever
@DrDolan2000 Says:
The man
@pandorasbox4238 Says:
I don't think it was called Shining Time Station - it was Captain Kangaroo, though, correct me if I'm wrong, it was a very long time ago.
@Rudygiulianisfrumpybooty Says:
John Douglas is the ultimate narc. “Morality in media” what an oxymoron.
@kragratt Says:
40 years since I've heard those even words and I still know them by heart.
@TWDenizen7240 Says:
I liked it that most of the material used in this video was from "Last Words," the "sortabiography" co-written with Tony Hendra. As for how it was put together, it fulfills its purpose in shining a light on who most comics consider part of the Triumvirate, along with Lenny Bruce and Richard Pryor. Carlin, the New York Nihilist. He is sorely missed.
@xpinkbunnieinwonderlandx8454 Says:
I didn't know about his LSD experience. Makes a lot of sense as to a lot of things he'd talk about. I've done _a lot_ of LSD, and I was a much different person before I had my first trip. I changed for very much the better.
@CptDrake Says:
I saw him live, the year before he passed. I believe history may yet mark him as a great philosopher of our age.
@susangutrugianios2241 Says:
George Carlin is the Wise man who gives All the answers when in need
@desireec2836 Says:
i grew up on george carlin. an idol of mine
@AAVVVAAADDAAAKAAADAVRAAA Says:
the problem is is people nowadays don't realize how comedians a lot of them used to go to jail for just freedom of speech and then people still do this s*** to this day where somebody says something somebody doesn't like you can go to jail for it
@cht2162 Says:
Wish George was still with us because we need his rapier wit to cut El Presidente Trump down to size.
@sorapwn1200 Says:
"thank you Mr Twain, have your people call my people." Well he hit that one right on the nose didn't he?
@fancyme.alter1311 Says:
George was so right on most issues. Thank you for the video.
@LetED-bj8ql Says:
I saw him as Mr. Conductor as a kid but now as an adult I can appreciate his full talent of truth seeking and telling it as he saw it & eye opening for those of us that realize he was gone too soon 😢
@PaulSmith-up4fo Says:
Seven dirty words it’s used as a president for free speech in the Supreme Court. We should love everything he said. For freedom everyone and everywhere
@KristiContemplates Says:
My favourite is when he asked popping Buddy Christ to bless his golf clubs
@BenFleury Says:
Thank you so much for making this video on the one and only George Carlin. Please do one on Bill Hicks!
@seanyiscubsfan1 Says:
George Carlin is my all time favorite comedian. His takes on many issues are relevant today and while I didn’t agree with everything he said I respected him for being open. The funny thing is I was first introduced to him through Shining Time Station and Thomas the Tank Engine. He took that role to show a softer side he had. R.I.P George Carlin you were a part of my early childhood and came to be my favorite comedian and come to understand many things about the world.
@gordonwallin2368 Says:
Gos the US needs him now! He was one one of my exemplars. Cheers from the Pacific West Coast of Canada.
@JugglingAddict Says:
We sure do miss him!!!
@Honkiavelli Says:
A sad reality in this day and age is that a genius like George Carlin would be cancelled for his comedy. He was wise enough to see the decay of society and free speech well before us...
@chickendrawsdogs3343 Says:
Not paying the IRS is the most George Carlin thing. 🤣
@NickCC23 Says:
Regretted missing seeing Carlin in Las Vegas 18 days before he died.
@chicoravelli5703 Says:
14:25 basically, as I learned from George… The government, a body that is BOUND by the constitution and SHOULD follow the constitution, decided ON THEIR OWN without the full input of the people that radio and television were the only two parts of American life not protected by the 1st amendment to the constitution.
@John-ci8yk Says:
Catholics don't have middle schools, Elementary, first the 8th. High School, 9th to 12th. Doesn't sound like much but when you go from Top Dog in a small school to a freshman nobody in a large school, it makes a difference. Thumbs up, thanks.
@fatboydim.7037 Says:
Instaft Like For George, Saving The Planet is greatest YouTube EVER. He is the anti-christ to Great Tunberg.
@Feckinpaddy29 Says:
The superb irony being that WEZE in Boston today is a Christian radio station.
@nmarkert01 Says:
He played a gig at my high school in Beverly MA haha
@gemmastaines5706 Says:
HOLY COW!!! I genuinely didn't realise that George Carlin was Rufus in Bill & Ted!! 😲😲😲😲😲
@jasa_TheRealOne Says:
What I wouldn't give to have been able to see him in person. He's honestly an inspiration for me. His struggles and how he made his comeback were great to learn about.
@4gunslinger Says:
"Truths are seldom well received, that's why the very best comedians present them in the form of a punchline."
@andrewlawrence148 Says:
Thank you Simon. Would love to see more comedians
@Timmy_The_P.O.G Says:
Napalm and Silly putty was the first book I read by him. Hilarious
