Read the book, "Blacklisted by History, " where you will see that almost everything in this episode of Biographics is incorrect. I love this series, but this particular segment is inaccurate and even false. In 1991, the Venona documents of the USSR revealed that McCarthy was accurate in stating that the State Department was infested with Communists.

Perhaps some of you have noticed that the same tactics are being used today, the only difference is that this time it is the left side using them. try speaking a rational or common ground argument against the left today and you will be deemed things such as: racist, far right, extremist, white supremacist, bigot , anti gay etc etc etc...
