@Sebastianx115 Says:
You don’t believe that other animals feel bad ?
@Mando-wx6pn Says:
You're starting with a conclusion, never a good way to think. You say that there is an objective moralitybut have failed to demonstrate that to be true. Until you do so you're starting with a false premise. We know for a fact that morality is not objective. We also know for a fact that social creatures behave in certain ways because they must get along with eachother to survive so morality can and is absolutely explained by evolution. You seriously need to stay I'm your lane, which is to stfu about things you clearly know less than nothing about.
@MrGuzmanra Says:
But God can kill..
@TheHoldOfficialChannel Says:
That’s a bad analogy, the sign was deliberately made, the universe was not
@Ethan-hk8se Says:
That analogy doesn’t work. Assume there is no sign. If I’m driving, I, as well as most other people, should be able to deduce that going a certain speed would be detrimental. Some people could drive around corners faster than others, due to a factor of experience. Or perhaps driving slower when the road is wet from rain. We’ve experienced the detrimental nature of morality when it HASN’T been in use. We know from experience that going a certain speed wouldn’t be beneficial. We don’t necessarily need a sign to tell us that; it’s merely more convenient.
@nicksimmons2450 Says:
Morality is determined by any individual that has logic I feel it's best said by Issac Asimov in the video if god is dead then everything is permitted.
@tristenwilliams1943 Says:
Someone needs to show Frank Turek some of Ken Hams videos on creation
@bitofwizdomb7266 Says:
Turek , if you decided not to believe in god anymore , would you go out the moment after and start murdering , raping , lying, cheating , stealing etc ? If so, please stay religious .
Buddhists and Jains don’t go out doing those things and they do not believe in a god. I myself who walked away from religion over 25 yrs ago don’t kill or rape or cheat or steal (but my Christian wife did twice right in front of my eyes even against my rebuke ) and I am very conscious about being truthful and honest . People can be good without belief in a man made god like yaweh. And I don’t strive to live an impeccable virtuous life to please some “god” . I do it out of integrity and for the sake of being a good person . I want to leave a positive legacy behind for my loved ones to look up to . What’s wrong with that ?
@coleabrahams9331 Says:
Evolution doesn’t seek to explain morality. It’s two distinct disciplines. Evolution doesn’t explain the origin of life, either, but rather the origin of the diversity of life.
@Demonoicgamer666 Says:
Life can be objectively valuable to a extent without god because most people agree that they want to live, having a majority is pretty objective in fact for humans it’s as objective as it gets. So others see value in your life because they value society and you are required for that now why should you value life without god? You should value your life under your own subjective beliefs while respecting other. So life is meaningful because the majority of people agree it is.
@SmartAss4123 Says:
Morals and laws are an intellectual process our brains and society engineered for each others and our own survival. It is evolution in our species because we developed laws, rules and cultural norms as we advanced.
@SmartAss4123 Says:
We made the laws and morals ourselves. Thats why we had laws long before christianity or jesus existed. Because we advanced and said "hey killing each other isnt so good, stop it"
And so and so on until religions adopted laws and pretended to call it their own gods morals.
@rekunta Says:
This is such a sad way to view morality and ethics.
We have morals from our humanitarian concerns towards our fellow creatures and the desire for the betterment of our own existence. If you require an entity to dictate that to you, you are selfish, inconsiderate to others, and thoughtless.
Our morals exist to proliferate our own survival as a collective group. Yes it’s not always perfect and can run astray to horrific consequences, but I don’t simply do right or wrong because I believe some sky daddy demands it, I do it because I genuinely care for others, and by extension of that principle, it comes back around to benefit me.
Christian “morality” is nothing but bankrupt.
@Frank-kz6fb Says:
Evolution: The strong survive.
Christianity: Rules from above.
@sotl97 Says:
Humans opperate better when they are accountable. For moraity, we need God to be there holding us accountable. Look at the world we love in now without God. Its off the rails.
@sotl97 Says:
The opportunity to maintain our life.
I am a Christian, but this isnt a good argument for God. If Im out there killing people, there qre going to be others trying to kill me. Its not a great life to live. So we as humans have addopted a lifestyle where insted of killing everyone we respect everyone and protect eachothers right to live. In doing that, we can live knowing we qre safe.

@jshadnot Says:
So he needs an authority to tell him it’s wrong to murder. As an atheist, I personally hope he continues to believe in whatever god that’s gonna keep him from going on a murder spree.
@JordanLittle-bb3yq Says:
Uh... Secular morality. It comes from our big ole human brains.
Even when I was a devout Christian, I never once thought morality came from God. Now I learn since realizing God doesn't exist, that Morality came from God?
@GasStationMillionaire Says:
Speed limits, like God are created by man to control the actions of man. What's the best way for the few to control the many? An omnipresent, all knowing, all seeing being. Its Santa Claus, but we don't wise people up when they're 10.
@david-zahniser Says:
So true! This is why I killed my friend! God told me to do it, so I did. His word is good! ❤
@RouXRenard Says:
RULES are mutually beneficial. The Golden Rule was universal long before Jesus.
@kevinburke8608 Says:
False analogy.
Also, evolution does give animals instincts honed over time. We are no different and being a social species that has to work together we have instincts formed by evolution as well. Instincts such as fairness and generally not killing those in our social group. We need those around us in our social group to survive. Those who don't go along with these instincts get ostracized because they are a danger to the social group. No god required. Evolution and social upbringing give people their morality.
@Lightbearer2 Says:
Evolution can't give you that among many other things .
@jaywinters2483 Says:
Kill the music
@masonforrester5579 Says:
Can someone get bro a shirt that fits 😭
@naylorbroughton1159 Says:
Christians follow "gods nature" ? Where? What they follow is money, suburban life with no "dirty minortities" as their neighbors, throwing the homeless in jail and demanding death penalty for criminals..........or anyone who made a mistake in their lives. Them? "we cant judge" and "god knows their heart" are their excuses. Gods nature would be wonderful as Christains if they could actually follow the bible...but they cant because they cant even agree on what it means, which translation, baptism, sacraments, orthodoxy, protestant, or cahtolic....hence the empty churches
@FlipHard180 Says:
In the absence of a central moral authority, the moral acceptability of murder cannot be justified.
While moral beliefs can vary among individuals and cultures, compelling reasons against murder persist.
Social contract theory underscores the importance of societal rules, including the prohibition of murder, for maintaining order and trust within communities.
Human empathy, recognition of the traumatic consequences, and the existence of legal systems further emphasize the immorality of murder.
Philosophical ethics also provide robust arguments against murder, irrespective of a universal moral source.
Consequently, the absence of moral authority does not imply that murder is morally permissible, as multiple factors converge to deem it morally wrong in most contexts.
@jerrywebb9614 Says:
Prove that God is the maker of morals? Just because you say it doesn't mean its true? You are giving an all or nothing sceneraio.
@zsozso411 Says:
Exactly
@oddoutdoors Says:
Evolution addresses the origin of species... you know nothing about science.
@ぽん-w1v Says:
We don’t need God or religion to have morals.
We have morals naturally
@kingdicehoi4lubu746 Says:
Humanity never had a moral obligation against murder...I think history is very clear that murder happened all the time and was justified even by Christians
There is no universal moral standard the reason we don't like seeing dead people is cause dead things tend to signify danger and we don't like being in danger...Its not God's will that creates morality its just humans saying "we not kill eachother...Work together stronger" thats it literally
@chadedwards3676 Says:
This argument completely refutes all your character assassination against Islam as a way to prove it's false because the moment Islam is proven true anything that the prophet SAW and Allah do, order, command, and allow automatically become the correct moral standard but keep using this argument I guess? Christians are never really consistent, so why should I expect them to be?
@xXMACEMANXx Says:
Murdering is generally disadvantageous to our survival, so it stands to reason that it would be supported by evolution
If anything, the fact that a person can morally justify murder should be proof of the contrary, that God had no part in it
@brianharris7243 Says:
Morality is a social construct - no need for a god. 'Speed limit sign' silly analogy.
@vanessamartz7596 Says:
Epigenetics is a set of enzymes that is within your genome to alter the expression of your alleles. That means that under stress like cold or excess heat an organism or even you expresses physiology in a way that helps survival and passes the set point on to offspring.
That's 5th order anticipation. Nothing in the universe beyond third order anticipation exists without an intelligent observer/designer.
@matt9675 Says:
It's a very good thing that today's Christians have the wisdom to cherry-pick the socially appropriate elements from the Bible. Otherwise, they'd be offering burnt animal sacrifices and stoning their wives to death as God intended.
@kelteklew Says:
Points to something humans did to make the point something else humans did was god.
Awkward.
@bickabraham2397 Says:
Our morality is what distinguishes from all other animals/ Both good & Bad.
@nicholasemond1388 Says:
I would say life means way more of there is no god. Or rather no afterlife. And morality can be explains by evolution.
@overhaul1531 Says:
Here's the thing to the book of hebrews says "I will put my laws in their hearts and in their minds will I write them"
@rlunnerstall3527 Says:
Clearly the teaching of evolution is equipping millions to deny our Creator
@JD-lt7uv Says:
The theory of evolution says behaviors that promote the survival of the species are more likely to be passed down. Killing does not promote the survival of the species except for defense. Compassion and altruism do. Those are biological predisposions shared by most (but not all) human beings. Most of our moral values today come from the Enlightenment, not the Bible.
@firstname-lastname2838 Says:
Because if humans did not have morality we wouldn’t have succeeded as a species, I’m not understanding your point
@gi169 Says:
Thank you CE.
@firedrgn656 Says:
Ah yes, the morality argument that we haven't heard a million times. Why did we put up a speed limit sign? We don't want to die. Why do we agree on not slaughtering each other in the streets? We don't want to die. Wonder if that makes any sense to this man... probably not. According to his argument, someone came up with a speed limit because his God told them to.
@kwith Says:
This is the dumbest argument he could put forth. Evolution can explain morality quite easily. Morality is an emergent property from specific behaviors that ensure the survival of the species.
It is advantageous for members of the tribe to behave in a way that doesn't negatively affect each other. That means don't kill each other, treat each other decently, and mainly just work toward a common good. That ensures survival and thus your genetics continue in your offspring.
We don't need some outside force telling us what to do. We don't need some invisible sky-daddy telling us "No, don't do that, that's wrong!".
